I travel once a month for a week , I face leg pain during travelling.... What shoud be my precautions?

Hi there, 

Inactivity while travelling lead to pain and swelling of legs. When the movements are constrained or limited, blood circulations are restricted which can lead to symptoms such as swollen ankles and feet, heavy leg and leg pain. Sitting idly with your feet on the floor for a longer duration causes blood to pool in your leg veins. It also puts pressure on the leg veins which forces the fluids to escape out into the surrounding tissue from the blood vessels causing a leg swell or oedema. To prevent this from happening you may follow some of the advice ;

 

• Keep on flexing and extending your knees and ankles. Try up and down movement of ankles or clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation for 10 counts every 30 minutes.

 

•Try shifting your position from time to time. Do not cross your legs while travelling.

 

•Stand up and try walking around after sitting for an hour or two.

 

•Wear loose-fitting cloth and avoid tight stockings that constricts the blood vessel.

 

•Massage your legs so that the blood circulation improves while or after travelling. This will prevent cramps, swelling and pain.

 

• Clench your toes every 30 minutes so that your leg and calf muscles are exercised or manipulated. 

 

•Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol while travelling as they cause dehydration. Drink plenty of other fluids that can keep you well hydrated.

हेलो,

 

कारण - शरीर में अम्ल (acid) बढ़ने से ऐसा होता है।यात्रा के दौरान आहार में दोष, नींद का पर्याप्त ना हो पाना एक कारण होता है। 

समाधान - कच्चे सब्ज़ी का सेवन करें जैसे खीरा, मुली टमाटर, कुछ नटस साथ में लें। फल और सुखा फल के साथ लें। एक टब में पानी भर कर उसमें पैरों को डुबो कर रखें। 20 मिनट के लिए ऐसा रात को सोने से पहले ऐसा करें।  सुबह कुछ आसन प्राणायाम करें।

जीवन शैली - आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

दौड़ लगाएँ इससे रक्त का संचार ठीक होगा।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। इसी प्रकार हरा गोभी, बंद गोभी, गाजर, चुकन्दर भी कद्दूकस करके डालें। हर दिन मुख्य सब्ज़ी किसी एक की मात्रा अधिक बाँकि सब थोड़ा थोड़ा डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा दोपहर के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती है। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ।एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ का सेवन करें।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें और 2 घंटे बाद सलाद लें।

Accumulation of fluids in the leg happens when people who have not maintained a healthy lifestyle sit for a long time during a travel.

 

Follow this healthy lifestyle and this won’t happen in future 

 

  • You will need to remove all kinds of animal products from your life containing dairy eggs meat fish packaged foods, Foods deep-fried sugary sweets etc
  • Focus on eating more fruit vegetables and leafy greens in all forms such as juices salads and whole throughout the day till dinner even during travels. Where there is a will there is a way
  • Consume cooked food only for dinner made without oil or wheat or maida  
  • Avoid bakery foods and maida-based products.
  • cook without oil. You can google oil free cooking which is also available on Wellcure . 
  • you will have to focus on moving your body. Hence join a yoga class. Your focus on fruits and leafy greens will ensure that will also be able to build muscles yourself if you are keen
  •  Do not medicate at any cost when body eliminates naturally through its orifices via cold cough etc 
  • Switch to a complete juice diet for the entire day if the severity is more this will ensure that the body flushes all the toxins and then gives you the relief over a period of time your body will clear all the toxins and you will not be sick anymore. 
  • Excess consumption of animal products will continue to keep people sick. Google on the cruelty in the dairy industry to understand the ethical aspects of dairy industry and how many cows suffer on a daily basis to give you a cup of coffee , understanding the ethical aspects of consumption of animal products will not only save the animals, the planet and also give you a great healthy life.
  • Learn to live in gratitude, serve the community, live a life of compassion and spread unconditional love to people around you, learn to seek happiness from within and do not expect happiness from outside.

नमस्ते ,
यात्रा के दौरान आम दिनों की अपेक्षा आपके पैरों की क्रियाशीलता कम हो जाती है चलना -फिरना ,सीढ़ी चढ़ना इत्यादि कम हो जाता है जिससे पैरों में दर्द हो सकते हैं ,टाइट फिटिंग के जूता पहनने की वजह से भी दर्द होता है।
 

यात्रा के दौरान थोड़ा पैदल चलनें का प्रयास करें, पैरों के पंजों को ऊपर -नीचे ,दाएं -बाएं चक्राकार दिशा में ,उसके विपरीत दिशा में घुमाएं ,पैरों को मोड़ें व फैलाएं आराम मिलेगा ,कुछ धूप में भी रहें , पानी पीते रहें।
