Read moreCough and cold are body’s way of eliminating toxins and correcting our acidic-alkaline balance. During this time our actions must reflect what the body wants. The key element to focus on is rest rest and ample rest. This includes physical, mental and digestive rest.
Make sure you steam regularly, to get some immediate relief. Add some aroma oils such as eucalyptus or lavender. Also focus on increasing your rest. Relook at your food, and swap processed foods with raw fruits, raw veggies salads and homemade juices. This will really help conserve energy and help your body focus on repair.
In the long run also, as you recover keep your dairy non veg and wheat and grains on lower side, instead make sure you are eating ample variety of fresh, live plant based foods (fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts, whole beans and whole pulses).
Hi, as for the blocked nose and congested forehead you may try steam with eucalyptus oil or peppermint oil. You could also dab a bit of peppermint oil on your temples and the back of your neck, where the hair line ends.
This is an instantaneous relief but temporary as well.
For a complete recovery, you will have to go into rest. Eat fresh citrus fruits only if you are hungry. If not then best is to just keep sipping water when thirsty. 24 hours of such rest should make you feel good.
As for leg pain put your feet in a bucket of warm water with some rock salt in it. Do not forget to keep a wet towel on your head to keep off the raising temperature in your blood vessels to go to your head. Stay like this for around 20 to 30 minutes then wipe your feet and go to bed. After a good sleep, you will feel quite refreshed.
Be healthy be happy always.
Keeping a piece of fresh ginger in mouth soothes the throat.
Add lemon juice, ginger juice and turmeric. This helps for sure. Tulsi, honey and ginger juice mix also helps. 2 nimbu nichor lijiye usme agar sukhi khansi ho to golmirch powder ek chutki aur gili khansi ho to 4 bund adrak ka ras mila kar pilaiye din me 3 se 4 bar. Aur sudh ghee ya sarson tel me jayefal ghis kar milaen aur garam karke chest aur back me malish karen aur rest karne den.
Apple cider vinegar concoction is working quite well with cough and cold we face at home. It’s one cup warm water 2 tbsp acv two tbsp lemon juice little honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder - thrice a day.
