Read moreHi pls do not mix dry fruits and nuts. They are different food groups, and should be consumed separately. Munaka, Raisins are dry fruits while peanuts, almonds, sesame, kaju are nuts.
Only when you rest well, will you have energy to exercise – I would always think I am doing great by doing 30 minutes walking – but I saw real difference to energy levels (and hunger pangs) when I included breathing, running and ‘real yoga’ to my regime! ☺
Regarding food, we may think – eating grains will help build up energy reserves but its just the opposite cause they demand too much energy to digest. During lunch and dinner – add a nice dose of raw salads to your cooked meals – add nuts and chutneys.
You could even do Rajma, Chola salads mixed with veggies and nuts as large piece of your meal, and then proceed to eat to daal, and grains. Add sprouts to your weekly meals.
Don’t mix grain – 4 chapati and rice – may be a lot of grain at one time! In evening cut out the bread – don’t mix it with fruit at all! Just have a nice serving of fruit during 5-7 pm. Have dinner earlier than 830 pm if you can.
Most importantly, know that body is working in your favour. All the symptoms, hormonal imbalance etc will reverse with some self-love, time, and care. Don’t overfuss on eating ‘correct’. Just focus on eating ‘light’.
Hi There! Adding my observations and practical experience to your query -- Hunger pangs indicate you are not building enough energy reserves, but consuming it more on various things. This could be increased digestive load (due to wrong food combinations), excessive thinking, office work with no breaks, cutting down sleep, or not getting enough deep sleep, constant gadgets etc.
While you are focusing on food, hopefully you are also looking at other factors such as rest, sleep, sun and activity & exercise. How is your sleep quality? Are you feeling buzzed all the time?
If body is indicating dizziness & tremors and low energy (through hunger pangs) - Do up your rest and sleep. Deactivate from laptops/ phones/ gadgets atleast 1 hour before you sleep. During the day take 4 minutes break every 4 hours – deep breathe, stretch, relax. If possible, take time off from work, and rest completely (During this time eat mostly fruits, veggies – go out and do things you love). Walk on grass or go swimming to cool yourself down.
Hi. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Make sure your food combinations are right. For example do not do 2 grains in one meal. That’s a heavy load in your digestive system. Drink water only when you feel thirsty because fruits are 90% water and vegetables are 70% water.
Keep soaked raisins handy everyday. Eat a good amount of raisins daily.
