Hello Sachit,

High blood pressure is caused due to our blood vessels get constricted and the flow of blood is obstructed which causes pressure to increase, this is a long term effect of all the accumulation of toxins. The chronic diet of high fat and sedentary lifestyle is the cause of this. The new-age corporate glass building is a new hub of all the diseases to enter as with air conditions we lock our space with altered air supply rather than natural places that inhibit our healthy growth. What makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, that we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing it.

Now let us understand what changes we can make:

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

  • Consume Vitamin C rich food as it builds up immunity at the same time clear our airway like mosumbi, oranges, lemon, sprouts, cabbage, capsicum, etc.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Having raw garlic two hours after your meal, an empty stomach will be helpful in treating high blood pressure.
  • A diet rich in potassium like coconut water, bananas, etc is recommended for a good flow in blood vessels.

Exercise:

  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day this will help in lowering blood pressure.
  • Suryanamaskar practice daily will help in increasing muscle tonicity and increase blood circulation.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oils this will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals thy self.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help you

Thank you

Hello Sachit,

Hypertension has become a common health problem nowadays and may lead to other health issues in the long term. It is determined by the amount of blood that the heart pumps and the amount of resistance in the arteries to the blood flow. The narrower your arteries and the more blood heart pumps, the higher is the blood pressure.
When the blood pressure of a person is always above the normal levels i.e. more than 120/80, then it is called hypertension.

Reasons for hypertension

  • Stress
  • Family history
  • Increased age
  • Being obese.
  • Certain chronic diseases such as diabetes, sleep apnea.
  • Consuming more sodium in your diet.
  • Consuming alcohol.

Measures to be taken

Have a healthy diet

Foods to eat

  • Eat only plant-based natural foods.
  • Drink freshly prepared fruit juices.
  • Drink coconut milk.
  • Include salads, nuts, and sprouts in your diet.
  • Have soybeans in your diet.
  • Have fresh fruits like banana, pomegranate, citrus fruits.
  • Have fresh green leafy vegetables.
  • Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats.
  • Replace white rice with brown rice.
  • Use cold-pressed oil for cooking.
  • Limit your sodium(salt) intake.

Foods to avoid

  • Limit or avoid alcohol.
  • Avoid or limit nicotine intake.
  • Avoid street foods, deep-fried oily foods, and spicy foods.
  • Avoid processed foods and packaged foods.
  • Avoid dairy products and animal foods as they are not suitable for the human digestive system and creates health issues.
  • Avoid tea and coffee.
  • Avoid carbonated drinks.
  • Avoid sugars, refined grains, and refined oil.

Physical activity

Yoga

Exercising or yoga is very important. Yoga helps in controlling the blood pressure to a great extent as it improves the blood circulation in the whole body and also aids in removing any obstruction in the arteries which results in a narrow lumen.

  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Do padahasta asana, trikona asana, chakra asana, gomukha asana.
  • Start your morning with a short morning walk of 20 minutes.
  • Do deep breathing exercises like anulom-vilom pranayam.

Reduce stress

Sleep

  • Correct sleeping pattern is very important for maintaining circadian rhythm, hormonal balance and for reducing stress.
  • Sleep and wake up at a fixed time. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning.
  • Avoid using electronic gadgets 1 hour before sleeping.
  • Take 8-10 hours of sleep daily.

 Meditation

Do meditation for at least 20 min every day. It gives a soothing effect on the brain and reduces all the stress.

Bhramri pranayam is also a way to meditate. So, you can also perform bhramri pranayam.

Thank you.

Dear Sachit,

As per nature cure, toxic overload is the root cause of all diseases. Toxins are a byproduct of metabolism and also get added due to wrong lifestyle choices. When the body is unable to eliminate toxins through the regular channels (like kidney, bowel, skin), it tries to do so in the form of issues like cough, cold, fever, body pains, etc. But most people end up suppressing the issues time and again resulting in the body getting tired and giving up on its cleansing efforts. So all the toxins that are accumulated through all this time get lodged in all the convenient places it can find, resulting in various ailments. In case of blood pressure, the arteries get deposited with toxins and the blood starts needing more pressure to be pushed through.

The moment one starts supporting the body with the right food and environment, it will start the cleansing and healing process. Hence, issues like faulty blood pressure can easily be reversed by leading a life aligned to the laws of nature. You can explore our Nature-Nurtures program that helps you in making the transition, step by step.
