In sciatica, as from the ancient simple diet we have come along the way of eating an unhealthy type of fats and complex carbohydrates which acts as a load on our internal organs. For the sciatic nerve there is no direct connection with piles but yes when the internal balance is lost then the whole body gets affected.
Four things which help in always achieving the ideal health is, eat, exercise, meditate, and sleep. With keeping in these four things we can make sure that our body is working in harmony.
Eat:
- A good source of calcium is green leafy vegetables and seeds this will not only help in treating the sciatica pain but also will help in giving nutrients to our nerves
- The seed also has a good amount of minerals which helps in the spine to develop and spinal roots to become stronger, hence the nerve does not create the pain.
- Having a good amount of green vegetable juice makes sure that their nutritive state improves. Vegetable juice is a sure example of getting nutrition completely absorbed.
Exercise:
In sciatica, we have to be regular with exercise in order to treat the muscle strength, so here is some exercise that you can start with for sciatica.
- Sleep on your back, and make sure you raise one leg at a time at 90 degrees, this should be done alternately.
- Followed by this is stand with your feet together, raise your knee near your trunk by flexing it, alternately, one breath at a time.
- A good warm-up is important to reduce any risk before exercise, the next thing is to start with a brisk walk of 30 minutes daily. For making leg muscles stronger.
Meditation:
A healthy mind leads to a healthy body, it is time to make sure you give 15 minutes daily to calm all your nerves and reflect on the day. De-stress yourself with music therapy, which will help in releasing the pain and discomfort.
Sleep:
Sleep always remain the most important part, a good sleep cycle is considered to be of 90 minutes, which should be 5 times a day. That makes a good 7-8 hours of sleep is needed in order to rejuvenate our cells and function daily harmoniously.
Massage is another thing which you can do in order to release pain, massage your leg with coconut or almond oil, this will improve your blood circulation in the affected area.

Sciatica is caused due to the compression of the sciatic nerve whereas piles are usually caused due to excessive straining during defecation i.e. due to improper digestion. But when we see the root cause, both the problems are a result of excessive toxin accumulation in the body. They don't affect each other directly but they have the same origin. Due to the change in the eating habits and lifestyle, toxins get accumulated in the body which results in various health issues.
Diet
- Drink a glass of water with lemon juice in it in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to improve the metabolism and will also help to flush the toxins out of the body.
- Have fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
- Drink coconut water.
- Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibres. Fibres will add bulk to the stool and will also aid in its movement.
- Include salads, sprouts, nuts and beans in your diet.
- Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc in your diet.
- Include Vitamin C in your diet like blueberries, amla, orange, lemon, etc.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated.
- Avoid processed, packaged, preserved, oily and spicy foods.
- Avoid dairy products and animal foods.
Physical activity
Being physically active is also important just as our diet is important. You can perform yoga or any other exercise or simply indulge in some outdoor sports like football, basketball, badminton etc.
- Take a short morning walk of atleast 30min in the morning.
- Do paschimottan asana, padahasta asana, trikona asana and gomukha asana.
- Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam.
Sleep
Sleep is also essential for a healthy body. It affects the circadian rhythm and in turn our hormonal balance. So, it is important to maintain the correct sleep cycle.
So, sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am.

कारण - साइटिका एक सनसनी है जो कि आपकी पीठ, नितंबों और पैरों में मध्यम से गंभीर दर्द के रूप में प्रकट हो सकती है। आप इन क्षेत्रों में कमजोरी या सुन्नता भी महसूस कर सकते हैं। साइटिका आपके साइटिक तंत्रिका या ऐसे क्षेत्र में चोट की वजह से, जो तंत्रिका को प्रभावित करती है, से उत्पन्न होने वाला लक्षण है। जैसे कि आपकी कशेरुकाएं, जो आपकी गर्दन और पीठ की हड्डियां हैं। पाइल्स होने पर दर्द में वृद्धि होती है। सायटिका और पाइल्स दोनों ही लंबे समय तक खराब हाजमा और कब्ज का प्रतिक्रिया स्वरूप है।
प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा पद्धति में इसका निवारण संभव है।
समाधान - 1. चार भिंडी को लंबा काटकर एक गिलास पानी में डाल दें और सुबह खाली पेट नेचुरल मोशन होने से पहले उसको पी लें। पीते वक्त इस बात का ध्यान रखें कि पानी को मुंह में रख रख केपीए।
2. सूर्य की रोशनी में 20 मिनट का स्नान सूर्य की रोशनी से करें 5 मिनट सामने 5 मिनट पीछे 5 मिनट दाएं 5 मिनट बाएं भाग में धूप लगाएं। धूप लेट कर लेना चाहिए धूप की रोशनी लेते वक्त सर और आपको किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक ले। सूर्य नारी मंद होने पर इन्फेक्शन अधिक होता है अतः आप जब भी सोए अपना दायां भाग ऊपर करके सोए।
3. प्रतिदिन अपने पेट पर खाने से 1 घंटे पहले या खाना खाने के 2 घंटे बाद गीले मोटे तौलिए को लपेटे एक तौलिया गिला करके उसको निचोड़ लें और हूं उस तौलिए को 20 मिनट तक अपने पेट पर लपेटकर रखें ऐसा करने से आपका पाचन तंत्र दुरुस्त होगा।
4. हर 3 घंटे में लंबा गहरा श्वास अंदर लें उसको थोड़ी देर रोकें और फिर सांस को खाली करें। खाली करने के बाद फिर से रुके और फिर लंबा गहरा सांस ले। यह एक चक्र है ऐसा दिन में 10 चक्र करें केवल एक शर्त का पालन करें जब आप लंबा गहरा सांस ले रहे हैं तो अपनी रीढ़ की हड्डी को सीधा रखें ऐसा करने से आपके शरीर में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा का बढ़ेगी और ऑक्सीजन का संचार सुचारू रूप से हो पाएगा।
5.सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आ कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।
फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।दोपहर के खाने में सलाद नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ।
लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।
रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।
6. एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।
7. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

Piles are caused because of constipation. Once the food is digested the undigested matter is passed onto the large intestine. All such matter (mainly matter which cannot be used by the body, consisting of chemicals, fibre etc) is eliminated in the form of stools. When our lifestyle choices are unnatural (like wrong food habits, lack of sleep, disturbed circadian rhythm etc.), the intestine gets blocked with this undigested matter. This causes gas and hardening of the stools or constipation. Often one needs to strain in order to expel the dry, hard stool. This puts pressure on the rectal veins cause them to become swollen. Such distended veins may stretch out permanently causing piles.
Sciatica is basically caused because of inflammation of the sciatica nerve. This inflammation could be due to various reasons, including improper functioning of the digestive system.
