Read moreHello Aarti,
Pain in limbs occurs due to the excessive stress or improper blood circulation or bad posture of the body or working more than the body's strength.
Sometimes improper metabolism also results in pain due to toxin accumulation.
Hence, it is important to be physically active, maintain a good posture, have proper rest, a good diet and a good lifestyle.
Foods to eat-
- Start the day with a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it. This will help to boost your metabolism as well as to eliminate the toxins out of the body.
- Eat only plant-based natural foods.
- Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.
- Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet.
- Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibers.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated.
Foods to avoid-
- Avoid dairy products and animal foods.
- Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods.
- Avoid carbonated drinks.
- Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks.
Physical activity
Exercising is very essential for proper blood circulation.
- Do walking or jogging in the morning.
- Perform 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
- Do bhujanga asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana for an improved blood circulation.
- Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam.
Sleep
Sleeping is important to reduce stress which may also become the cause for pain.
Take proper sleep of at least 8 to 10 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
Thank you
Dear Aarti,
We do understand and empathize with your painful condition. Let us try to look at it from a Nature Cure perspective.
What is pain? Pain is the body's signal to draw attention to the part where there is inflammation. And inflammation is caused due to accumulation of toxins over a period of time. Toxins are added to our body internally, as a byproduct of metabolism as well as externally - because of an unnatural lifestyle. The body tries to eliminate these toxins through channels like skin, lungs, bowel, etc. However, when the elimination channels are not functioning properly we experience discomfort or acute diseases like cold, cough, diarrhoea etc. If the body is supported by following a natural lifestyle it can get rid of toxins. But continuous suppression of acute diseases through medicines and wrong lifestyle choices, it leads to inflammation.
As you start aligning your body to the laws of nature you would be surprised to see how your body starts responding and recovering.
