Read moreHello User,
High blood pressure occurs when the lumen of blood vessels become narrowed due to the accumulation of cholesterol. Because of narrowed vessels, blood has to flow through more pressure to reach every tissue and cells of the body. This accumulation of toxins occurs due to the consumption of a high-fat diet.
Diet
- Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach early in the morning. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body.
- Include Vitamin C rich foods and drinks in your diet like blueberries, oranges, amla, lemon juice, etc as they have antioxidant properties.
- Eat soaked raisins, dry fruits, beans, nuts, and sprouts to get them easily absorbable nutrients.
- Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Foods to avoid-
- Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc.
- Avoid processed, packaged, preserved, oily and spicy foods.
- Avoid tea and coffee.
- Avoid carbonated drinks.
- Avoid refined oils and refined grains.
Physical activity
- Start the day with a short morning walk.
- Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom, kapalbhati and bhastrika pranayam.
- Do padahasta asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana, hala asana.
- Take sunrays early in the morning.
Sleep
A correct sleeping pattern is essential for good metabolism and to maintain the circadian rhythm. So, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
Thank you
Namasakar!
It is great that you want to consider natural ways of healing from your problem. Let us begin by looking at the problem of hypertension from Nature Cure perspective.
As per nature cure, toxic overload is the root cause of all diseases. Toxins are a byproduct of metabolism and also get added due to wrong lifestyle choices. When the body is unable to eliminate toxins through the regular channels (like kidney, bowel, skin), it tries to do so in the form of issues like cough, cold, fever, body pains etc. But most people end up suppressing the issues time and again resulting in the body getting tired and giving up on its cleansing efforts. So all the toxins that are accumulated through all this time get lodged in all the convenient places it can find, resulting in various ailments. In case of blood pressure, the arteries get deposited with toxins and the blood starts needing more pressure to be pushed through.
The moment one starts supporting the body with the right food and environment, it will start the cleansing and healing process. Hence, issues like faulty blood pressure can easily be reversed by leading a life aligned to laws of nature.
