I have experiencing itching sensation on my skin above my ankles. Is there any particular reason to it. There is no bite ,redness but the itch is really bad.

Hello Priya,

Itching, redness, ringworm, inflammation and other skin problems are usually associated with infections.
This infection can be external or internal.

Reasons 

  • Bacterial, fungal or viral infection. 
  • Accumulation of toxins due to wrong habits.
  • Eating packaged and processed foods. 
  • Eating oily and spicy foods. 
  • Consuming deep-fried foods. 
  • Pollution. 
  • Contact with the infected person. 
  • Using other people's clothes, utensils or towel.
  • Exposed to some radiation. 

Things to follow

Food

  • Avoid milk-based products. 
  • Avoid animal products. 
  • Avoid fried foods, oily foods, spicy foods. 
  • Drink sufficient water during the day as it helps to flush out the toxins out of the body in various forms.
  • Drink freshly prepared fruit juices. 
  • Drink coconut water. 
  • Have turmeric and fenugreek seeds in food as they have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. 

Local application 

  • Apply turmeric over the affected area.
  • Boil neem leaves in water and then use this water to take bath.

Things to avoid

  • Avoid the use of any chemical-based products on your skin.
  • Protect your skin from pollution. 
  • Protect yourself from bad radiation.
