Gall bladder stones result due to an increased cholesterol levels which is mainly due to a fat rich diet. Excessive stress, incorrect lifestyle, wrong eating habits, an improper sleeping patterns may also lead to increased cholesterol levels.
Diet to follow-
- Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body.
- Eat only plant based natural foods in your diet.
- Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.
- Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet.
- Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc in place of refined grains.
- Cook oil-free.
- Have soaked dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body and to be hydrated.
Foods to avoid-
- Avoid dairy products and animal foods.
- Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods.
- Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks.
- Avoid sugars and sugary foods.
Exercise
Being physically active is very essential to improve metabolism.
- Start the day with a short morning walk or jogging.
- Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
- Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam.
- Do bhujanga asana, chakra asana, parvat asana, gomukha asana.
- Practice yoga and pranayam in a place full of trees or in a garden.
Sleep
Sleeping is very essential for good metabolism. So, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
