I am a part of various health groups. I have heard contradicting views about consuming fruits in combination verses single fruit at a time. Anyone who can share their views/personal experience regarding this? I often wonder if its fine to have a bowl full of mixed fruits!

Hello True, there are lots of confusing information around. What I have learnt in my experience is that mono fruit is the best, as it is easier for our body to digest and assimilate. But at the same time if you feel like having a combination of fruits, you could still go ahead, it will not pose a great hazard to your general health. With time the cleaner you eat, your senses would become sharper and you will be able to make the right choices. You just need to see and touch the fruits. If your taste buds get activated and the smell makes you salivate then just go ahead and have that fruit. Sometimes certain fruits will appeal to you more and some won’t. Just go with your gut feeling and you will be making no mistakes. Be Healthy Be Happy Always

नमस्ते शुगर कोई बीमारी नहीं है। ख़राब हाज़मा और ग़लत आदतों के वजह से शरीर इस रूप में प्रतिक्रिया कर रहा है। शरीर को नहीं अपनी आदतों को जाँचे। जब तक प्राण सकती है तब तक शरीर के अंदर का कोई भी अंग जो की निष्क्रिय हो गया वो सक्रिय हो सकता है। सही खुराक जो की शरीर की ज़रूरत है। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में एक बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए। पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है। आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा। 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें। 3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। 4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं। नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। अगले सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid) की कमी हो जाती। सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें। रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें। धन्यवाद। रूबी, प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली प्रशिक्षिका व मार्गदर्शिका (Nature Cure Guide & Educator)
I'm suffering from Hypothyroidism since 1997. Presently test report of TSH is 2. 2 I am taking eltroxin 175 mg once in the morning. Can you suggest any other remedy to reduce the doses? I am regularly walking for 4-5 KM's in the morning.

I would suugest you to consult a registered Naturopath who is connected with a well established naturopathy hospital for naturopathy and yoga treatment which could very well work along with the medicine that you take. Slowly when latter therapies work on you you can slowly cut down the medicines after constant analysis of your thyroid hormone levels. It might be suggested to avoid self medication or self treatments as this would complicate the issue further and could bring some adverse effects.

Hy...i suggest you try epsom salt leg bath everyday for a month it will relieve you pain and tightless of calf muscle. Take 30gm of epsom salt put in hot water in a bucket and add salt in it, put your legs in the bucket sock it for 15-20 min. As everyone has already explained that the best breakfast is fruits, I'll not repeat it :-) In addition to that, if you want to eat poha, just view it from a whole vs processed scale. The more your poha or any other food item is towards 'whole' on this scale, the more nutritious it is & easy for body to absorb its nutrients. So yes red poha maybe closer to 'whole' than regular white poha, though both are processed foods.....And always beware of marketing gimmicks, know your brand or vendor well to make the right choice.

Make sure you keeping the child off dairy and off grains completely to aid recovery, Try and offer coconut water though best is to offer some homemade fruit juice everytime he passes motions. Allow him to rest amply and sleep as much as he can. Give plain sips of water, if the child doesn’t take anything else.

Namaste, Uric acid is formed when the body breaks down purines- crystalline compounds that are found in certain foods. This naturally occurring waste product usually dissolves in the blood, passes through the kidneys and is removed from the body by the way of urine. Get regular exercise and maintain a healthy weight. Fever is a good form of elimination of toxins by the body. If your body is trying to send some junk out for 5 months, you must let it go. You could try having a concoction of lemon juice diluted with equal amount of water. Have it every 3-4 hours. Basically with high uric acid your body is more acidic than alkaline, u have to restore the balance by upping the alkaline foods. Hope you don’t take dairy and wheat? These leave a high acidic residue in the body. Start your day with soaked raisins. - they are highly alkaline.

let me share my experience regarding feeding kids.I breastfed my elder one for 3 years then shifted to feeding from a glass ... no bottle at all .... later went onto drop dairy altogether .Today he’s 22 years old .My younger one I breastfed for 9 months ,after which I had to travel leaving him behind so my mom started feeding him banana each time he wanted his breastfeed so much so that he got hooked on to bananas( he still is at age 17). Point I’m trying to make is you could try feeding him something resembling or tasting like milk ..... a fruit smoothie, mashed fruit , coconut/ almond milk smoothies.Post 3 years once you start teething one does not need milk at all.
