Whats' the best diet for Parkinson?
Nikita Mishra
04:22 PM | 27-05-2021
Hello chary, Parkinson's is closely connected to the lack of dopamine cells in our body. So, it is neccessary to increase dopamine in the body through diet naturally. The secondary symptoms of Parkinson's like dementia and confusion may also be improved through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Foods to eat Proteins are helpful in releiving the symptoms of Parkinson's. Also, eating a diet high in antioxidants helps in releiving the "oxidative stress" that aggravates Parkinson's and similar conditions. You can get lots of antioxidants by eating walnuts, blueberries, blackberries and cranberries. Eating a plant based diet rich in antioxidants may provide the highest antioxidant intake. Have fava beans Fava beans contain levodopa which is the same ingredient that is present in some drugs which are used to treat Parkinson's. Hence, eating fava beans will also be helpful in the treatment of Parkinson's. Omega 3 If you are concerned about secondary symptoms like dementia and confusion, get serious about consuming more flax seeds and kidney beans. These foods are in omega 3 fatty acids which might improve cognitive function. Other tips To avoid constipation caused by Parkinson's, try seasoning your food with turmeric or yellow mustard to encourage bowel movements. For muscle cramps caused by Parkinson's, do yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana and paschimottan asana. Thank you

Dr. Khushbu Suthar
12:00 PM | 16-07-2020
Hello Kakul, Fatty liver, gastritis, esophagitis, piles these all condition going around the digestive tract are all the result of one thing which a chronic bad diet. They all make our metabolism extremely weak which only makes our body susceptible to diseases. It is the extra load we keep on giving our body on the name of regular meals, n our body needs rest, a good amount of rest in order for nutrients to get absorbed. The main thing is to understand in all these is that our diet is predominantly filled with oil and fats which are not doing anything good. It is time to allow your gastro-intestinal tract to go under a good amount of rest, and that can only be achieved by a light diet and exercise. Eat: Start your day with 2-3 glasses of warm water, this will allow your body to release all the toxins. Your breakfast should include a glass of vegetable juice, for example, bottle guard, spinach tomato, or carrot juice this will allow the nutrients to absorb completely in your body. You can add sprouts in your breakfast. Having a fruit like an apple, banana, papaya, guava is very beneficial for your mid-meal you can have it as a snack. The next thing to start with after two hours of your lunch take a raw garlic clove, it helps in treating the liver. Walnuts and almonds are considered to be beneficial in this state, you can have them during evening time. Consuming methi seeds in warm water early morning empty stomach helps in building insulin sensitivity and reduce diabetes. Exercise: Suryanamaskar daily 12 sets in the morning will help in treating any disorder, especially of the digestive tract. Seated spinal twist is another asana which benefits especially for treating fatty liver. Brisk walk for 30 minutes in the morning in early sun helps in the treatment of any disease, as the sun has the power to activate our cells and rejuvenates our cells. Meditation: Practice mindful meditation. Deal with your stress. Allow positivity to be part of your life. Doing a 15-minute exercise before sleep like deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind, you can use music also for relaxation. A calm mind will lead to a healthier body. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is very important in order to completely relax. In sleep what our body does is go through is the process of repair. Relax your self by taking a water bowl with 2-3 drops of essential oil, like orange and lavender which will help in relaxing. This will aid in treating any kind of disease. It is time to make ourselves healthier without disease hampering our growth. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you
How to leave the habit of milk tea? It's just becoming impossible even when I know it's not good for my health.
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
12:48 PM | 13-07-2020
Hello User, Consuming stimulants in your diet can be harmful to your health, the best thing is to find the healthier equivalent of the same. The reason we need some stimulants like tea and coffee is because of mineral deficiency, if your body is getting a good amount of nutrients in itself it won't even ask for something like milk tea and coffee. Hence what we should be focussing more on is to fulfill the deficiency of our body rather than dealing with one problem. We should see this in a holistic way. Here are some guidelines if you follow your body will get adequate minerals and get rid of milk tea: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake for at least one month and refrain from something oil-based. Potassium and sodium-rich diet, this helps in giving a good number of electrolyte. Potassium-rich sources that are easily available are bananas, potatoes, walnuts, coconut water, green leafy vegetable juices, etc. Walnuts and almonds are rich in minerals like magnesium this will help in dealing with your body's deficiency. Hopefully, the suggestion is helpful. Thank you

I have achalasia cardiac disease. Is there any natural treatment for this?
Dr Sangeeth Somanadhap...
01:50 PM | 03-01-2020
The oesophagus is the tube, which is a part of GUT, that carries food from the throat to the stomach. Achalasia cardia is a severe health condition that affects your oesophagus. The lower oesophagal sphincter (LES) is a muscular ring that closes off the oesophagus from the stomach. The sphincter gets into action whenever there is a food movement from mouth to the stomach. If you have achalasia, your LES fails to open up during swallowing, which it’s supposed to do. This leads to a backup of food within your oesophagus. This condition can be related to damaged nerves in your oesophagus. It can also be due to damage of the LES. Achalasia usually occurs later part or elderly age group, but sometimes it can also occur in children. Individuals who are middle-aged and older are at higher risk for the condition. Achalasia is also more common in people with autoimmune disorders. People with achalasia have a problem in swallowing or feel like food is stuck into their oesophagus. This condition is also called dysphagia. These symptoms can cause coughing and raise the risk of aspiration or inhaling or choking on food. Other symptoms might include pain or discomfort, weight loss, heartburn or even intense pain or discomfort after eating. Some natural ways to manage it, Don't Overeat - Avoid overeating. In Naturopathic philosophy we say that eat half stomach with solid food, quarter with water/liquids and quarter should be kept empty. Also, make a point to avoid heavy meals and too many oily foods or spices ( north Indian curries especially) Lose weight - Sometimes fat accumulation on the abdomen could push the intestines or abdominal structures downwards and could possibly cause a condition called hiatus hernia. Hence losing weight must be a very important measure to undertaken if you are overweight. Consume low carbs - Consumption of large quantity of carbs could result in poor digestion in the GUT. It always wise to consume in less quantity. Avoid coffee/alcohol/carbonated drinks. Avoiding these could help too Eat less of chocolates and drink less citrus fruit juices Avoid eating raw onions if at all you have a habit Give at least three hours of time gap between your dinner and sleep. Keep your head in an elevated position when you sleep.

Knee injury. Meniscus damage. Can you suggest any remedy?
Smitha Hemadri
04:04 PM | 12-09-2019
Body heals itself from any damage provided you present those conditions. A healthy holistic high raw lifestyle with just one cooked on the night is the best to heal this condition. One of the few ways to heal is to absolutely rest that part as much as possible. You must focus on having positive foods such as fruits leafy greens and juices In your day. Expose yourself to the sunlight for at least one hour. Avoid all kinds of dairy products eggs meat fish, sugar, fried food, festival food, excess consumption of Cooked food, bakery products savoury items. Start with a 500ml cucumber juice followed by a big bowl of fruits ( 500gms), followedby greens and vegetables and then cooked. Don’t eat when u don’t have hunger. If the above is done in a religious manner you will heal much faster than expected. After you heal, you will have to pursue exercises to improve that part. I have recovered from a ligament tear in the past and I healed well. I have worked with people with brittle bones whose journey is also published on Wellcure and the major reason for the recovery is the removal of animal products and good consumption of fruits. Once you follow the above you will see good progress. My husband has healed from a similar condition as yours after a knee injury during his college basketball. His knee has now become quite strong in the last 2 yrs. he is on one dinner cooked ( gluten free, oilfree) and raw all day Thanks & let me know if you have any questions. https://www.wellcure.com/health-journeys/70/strengthening-brittle-bones-a-child-s-shift-to-good-health-against-all-odds Be blessed Smitha Hemadri (educator of natural healing practices).

Hi there, Following are the things you've to keep in mind if you want to get rid of acne: - Eat lot of green vegetables and fruits. - Removing refined sugars and taking milk and dairy products out of your diet will lower your intake of tran-fats. This will also mean cutting out fried foods, margarine and other hydrogenated vegetable oils and hydrogenated oil products. - Increase the amount of other foods such as those containing Omega-3 fatty acids. - cut out junk foods and carbonated drinks. - Apply a hot washcloth to the affected area for 45 seconds then apply a cold washcloth for 15 seconds. Do this three times in succession always ending with the cold. Repeat several times during the day. - reduce stress by practicing yogasana and meditation daily .
