Hi there , Increase in creatinine level can be because of multiple reasons and therefore the best way to lower creatinine levels in your body is to treat the underlying cause. However, high creatinine levels can also occur as a result of consuming a lot of protein or doing heavy exercise. In case of multiple test results showing abnormally high level of creatinine may indicate that the kidneys aren't functioning properly. Diet and lifestyle changes can help to reduce creatinine level . Reduce protein intake : excessive protein intake maybe result in excretion of more creatinine Increase dietary fiber ; consume more green leafy vegetables and fruits Drinking more water or liquid ; dehydration or decrease water intake can damage your kidney which can elevate creatinine level Avoid any extra creatine based supplements . Some of the herbs effective in lowering creatinine levels are Dandelion , cinnamon , nettle leave, ginseng and chamomile etc ; you can try them . Rigorous or over usage of muscles will increase creatinine level so it always good to maintain a normal level of workouts.

Voice culturing could be a useful method to overcome your problem. Voice culturing can be done either learning to vocal music which uses different pitches of sound and once in the process the voice could be flexible and gets cultured automatically. Voice culture is a branch of science which masters onself in pitch of voice. Most commonly music is used a popular tool to get this done Alternative Yoga could also help. Getting trained under a qualified yoga therapist who is experienced in voice culture could be useful Also another option available might be consult a speech therapist who could teach you the conventional methods to achieve it

Hi. What weight should one gain after delivery?
Mehak
11:30 AM | 17-07-2019
Hello One usually does not gain weight after delivery irrespective of the fact that either the person is in stress which leads to gain in weight as stress hormones contribute towards it. On the top of it women who remain sleepless i.e take mostly 5 hrs of sleep at night might gain weight. If regular schedules of breastfeeding are being followed the chances of increase in weight is not there rather the weight decreases at a good pace. In some cases thyroid can be there leading to weight gain. Still if you are going through it kindly keep an eye on your plate.Exercise that can be moderate should be there. Don't stress and be happy

I have been on fruits & vegetables for the last 1 month plus. Presently there is extreme cold temperature touching 1 ° C or so. So taking salads consisting of beetroot , Radish , Carrot etc I feel I am catching cold or cough. Seeking your advice.

Since you have been on fruits & vegetables for the last month or so only......you have given the right inputs your body needed for cleansing the toxins.....cold or cough is one way in which the body does so, cold cough is body's cleansing mechanism, don't treat it as being sick. In extreme winters, our basic instinct is to have warm foods. So increase your veggie soup intake, keep it nutritious - steam the veggies instead of pressure cooking as excessive heat/pressure destroys the enzymes in veggies. Als,o add soaked nuts to your soup, they will make it creamy. Use all seasonal veggies - carrot, spinach, beetroot, tomatoes, beans, cabbage, etc. Luckily the winter sun is good till now in Delhi. Have your morning fruits or noon veggie juice or salad sitting in the sun. Keep the 2nd half of the day for non-raw food. I'm assuming you are not using refrigerated f&v. get them to room temperature before having. With veggie salads, i often slightly heat them before eating.....just to remove the outer coldness. Heat for 1 min or so. Make a herbal tea for yourself, keep it in a flask & keep sipping through the day - cinnamon, elaichi, adrak, tulsi, saunf, cloves, black pepper. F&V are natural foods, as long as you eat fresh, local, seasonal, fully ripe......there is no reason to be scared of them. Enjoy!!
Can someone tell me if there's a problem in eating papaya during pregnancy? I love papaya, but have been told not to eat it.
Shubhi Khurana
05:10 PM | 24-12-2018
There are many fruits which are recommended ‘not to be eaten’ during pregnancy like Pineapple, Tamarind, Papaya, Grapes etc. Common link is presence of high concentration of enzymes or chemicals in these fruits which can either lead to variations in important hormones or lead to uterine contractions which are not desirable during pregnancy. Papaya was strictly mentioned NO even by my Gynecologist. Some research at my end indicates that ripe Papaya is ok but raw or semi ripe Papaya has high concentrations of latex which can lead to uterine contractions. Remain safe and best thing is to avoid as it is matter of only few months!
How can I make Beetroot Sandwich? Along with a healthy substitute for Brown Bread.

You can slice beetroot and steam them if you dont like them raw and make you sandwich with some cashew cream, spinach and beetroot slices. Add some fresh coriander too if you like the taste. Else, shred beetroot finely, mix it with some cooked potoates, shape into tikkis and roast them for your sandwich filling.

Hello Karthik, Pain in any part of the body indicates that the toxins are accumulated in the body. People are moving towards the modern lifestyle and the adoption of a sedentary lifestyle is the main reason behind the toxin accumulation in the body. A proper lifestyle and eating habits are necessary for maintaining the circadian rhythm and hence to be healthy. Here are some changes that you should adopt to lead a healthy life. Things to follow- Apply hot mustard oil on the joints and back and give a massage of 15-20min. Drink sufficient water to flush out the toxins out of your body. Have meals at the appropriate time. Never skip your meals. Diet to follow- Start your day with a glass of warm water. Have only plant-based natural raw foods in your diet. Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices like beetroot juice, apple juice. Have fresh fruits and vegetables. Include salads, nuts, sprouts, beans in your diet. Foods to avoid- Avoid refined grains and refined oil. Cook oil-free. Avoid packaged and processed foods. Avoid dairy foods like milk, butter, cheese, paneer, etc. Avoid animal products. Avoid sugars and sugary foods. Exercise and yoga Exercising is very important for the normal functioning of every part of the body. Take a walk of 30 min regularly early in the morning. Perform 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do hala asana, bhujanga asana, sarvanga asana. Do pranayams like anulom-vilom, kapalbhati. Sleep Take 8-10 hours of sleep daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Read books before sleeping for a good quality of sleep. Thank you
Is greek yogurt healtheir then regular yogurt?
Dr. Stuti Nilesh Pardh...
02:28 PM | 16-09-2019
Hello, You can try plant based yogurt, which is much better option. There are options such as Coconut cream and pea protein which can be used to make plant based yogurt. Alternatively, almond milk also is used to make plant based yogurt. The reasons we consume plant based yogurt is because it contains twice the amount of vitamins, minerals and Omega -3 which serves both the emotional and physical health Plant based yogurt recipes can be found on youtube. Regards Dr.Stuti Pardhe
