Namaste Sonam, We understand that it must be challenging for you. An asthmatic attack begins when the bronchial tubes in the lungs become constricted. The tubes have become narrow, and the inhaled air becomes trapped in the tiny air sacs at the end of the tubes. You can start with these remedies to treat it naturally: 1. Wet packs should be applied over the chest for 15-20minutes to relieve the congestion of the lungs and strengthen them. 2. Avoid sugar, rice, curds, and processed and fried food items, because they are difficult to digest and produce phlegm. 3. Breakfast may consist of oranges, kiwis, berries, seasonal fruits and black raisins. 4. During the attack, mustard oil mixed with a little camphor should be massaged over the back of the chest. this will loosen the phlegm and ease breathing. Hello Reetu, Any issue in the body arises from the toxin accumulation, hormonal imbalances and the imbalances of panchamahabhut which is the basic ingredient of this body. The reason for this is our activities like consumption of processed, packaged foods, not taking fresh air and sunlight, disturbed sleeping patterns, etc. Anybody can experience tremendous changes in their health by following just simple rules which are essential for everyone. Foods to eat The food that you eat, 40 to 50% of it should be in raw form. If you eat dead food how can expect to be alive. The body has to raise the dead to get the nutrients which means more work needs to be done by the body and hence more pressure is created. So, eat raw and fresh food. Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to detoxify the body. Eat only plant-based natural foods. Include sprouts, salads, nuts, and beans. Have soaked raisins and other dry fruits. Include fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables. Drink coconut water. Have while grains like barley, millets, oats, etc. Drink sufficient water during the day to be hydrated. Foods to avoid Avoid processed and packaged foods. Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid dairy food items and animal foods. Avoid refined grains, refined sugars, and refined oil as it may worsen the condition. Avoid oily and spicy foods. Yoga and pranayam Yoga and pranayam are very effective in vitiligo. They improve blood circulation in the body. Perform pranayam for 15-20 min daily, specially Bhramri, Sitkari, Sitali, Nadishodhan and Kapalbhati pranayam. Do suryanamaskar daily. Do some asana also like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana. Sleep Sleep plays an important role in maintaining the circadian rhythm and hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you

When we do not have a diet where nutrients are easily absorbed and our lifestyle is sedentary then our immunity gets susceptible to allergies which is a hypersensitive reaction to the external environment. So, the best way to prevent inflammation is to take care of oneself with diet, exercise, meditation, and sleep. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Vitamin C rich diet like oranges, mosumbi, lemons, sprouts, bell peppers are healthy in increasing immunity. Daily after your afternoon meal, have one inch of ginger boiled in one cup of water and add 5-6 basil leaves continuously to keep your immunity high. Have one teaspoon of mulethi twice a day with a half a teaspoon of honey, half an hour after your meal. To improve your immunity and helps in controlling asthma. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Cobra pose, cow poses is a good exercise for improving your lungs. I am going to fast 50 days from afternoon12 pm to midnight 12 am. Having health issues cervical neck pain, joint pains, body pains etc. Kindly help me to do my fasting successfully. Give me some tips. I will not eat food. Only water during fasting. Help me.
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
03:01 PM | 02-07-2020
Hello Monica Suresh, As you are fasting your body is going under a healing state, it is time to integrate all your attention towards your conscious body and all it to heal. During this type of episode of pains, you can make sure to put a cold ice pack as it will help in dilating the blood vessels in the area and allow your blood circulation to increase which in turn will heal its own self. With that even massages are helpful. Some Fast tips: 1. As you are having water during fasting we should make sure to have plenty of it to keep minerals intact, water is a good source of copper. 2. Never skip your before12 pm meal as it gives glucose to your body for the whole day. 3. Avoid having high indulgence food with high fat and sugars during your "eating time" keep it light so that nutrients are absorbed well. You can utilize Vitamin C rich diet for your gut problems with fruit sources like oranges and mosumbi. These tips will ensure that you have a healthy fasting phase and you would be energetic for the whole time. Take your time to meditate in this period as our vibrational level increases because of our healthy diet and fasting. Hopefully, this suggestion will help you. Thank you.

Dr. Khushbu Suthar

Hello Gurpreet, The main cause when we deal with hair loss is when we get exposed to pollution and chemical products. Yes, our digestion and bad eating habits are also part of the same as the hair is made of nutrients itself. The main thing to take care of, diet is to increase in our protein intake. Our body has the power to regenerate only if we provide our body with the right type of nutrients, by following a natural lifestyle you not only correct the hair fall problem but also treat yourself well with correct nutrients. Hair is made out of protein named keratin, by eating the right kind of food items, we can increase the protein intake and deal with the same. Hair and nails are made up of same type of protein, so you can also co-relate when your hair is in bad shape even your nails become brittle. So here are a few things which need to be corrected. So let us focus on what lifestyle changes we can make: Eat: Eating food that has a high amount of proteins are legumes, green leafy vegetables, nuts like almonds, walnuts, etc. Seeds like chia, pumpkin, and flax seeds are also necessary. Coconut water and even eating shredded coconut is found to be very beneficial for hair health. Regular massaging of hair is important to take care of the pigmentation. Here are a few hair packs which you can try to deal with hair loss problems. 1. Methi seeds, methi seeds powder two tablespoons mixed with rose water it helps in getting the hair stronger and thicker and help from hair to roots. Before applying methi seeds pack make sure you apply the oil at night, so the pack does not stick to hair. 2. Onion juice paste is another beneficial thing for hair health. This will ensure to deal with the hair fall. 3. There is one more way of coconut oil massage, where you warm the coconut oil and add curry leaves to it, let it splutter and then use for massage. Exercise: Here is some exercise that you can start for your hair and scalp health. Rubbing your nails with each other helps in the treatment of the hair health as it boosts the blood circulation to the scalp, hair, and nails have the same type of protein involved. Chakrasana is another asana which would be recommended for healthy hair. Meditation: While massaging your hair what you can do is close your eyes, and visualize your hair becoming stronger and shinier making it healthy. You can take a deep breath, start healthy music in the background you can feel the blood circulation getting a boost. This will help in relaxation and ensuring healthy hair health. Sleep: Having a sound 7-8 hours of sleep is helpful in treating anybody's problem, a healthy sleep leads to a healthy mind and body. So make sure you are free your room from any gadgets an hour before sleep so you get a radiation-free room and a good tension-free sound sleep. Hopefully, this will help you Thank you

When we talk about adenoids and deviated nasal septum, the first line of defence should be taken in as, a change in lifestyle and diet. Here let us talk about what is the change we have to keep in with diet and lifestyle and how do we correct it. Adenoids and nasal deviation both are co-related with the first line of defence, where the body's immunity is at stake and with this, we have to keep our body-safe. The body's immunity is hampered because of the fact that the body is continuously getting exposed to toxic things which need to be protected from. A 10-year-old kid's immunity is already at on the developing stage making it more vulnerable to toxins, by following prevention methods, we can take care of your little one effectively. Now let us follow these four things, in order to deal with the body's immunity. Eat: Here are a few things which we need to take care of is: Avoiding, milk and milk products refine sugars and salt, anything which is packed needs to be avoided. Now, what to eat? Start your kid's day with a vegetable juice, green leafy vegetables, carrot, cucumber, bottle gourd can be your choices. Sprouts is another thing which can be given as breakfast. After lunch two hours later you can give a cup of ginger honey tea. This can be helpful for the kid. Also, sprouts have a good amount of Vitamin C which will help in treating the immunity, sweet potatoes are another good source of vitamin C. Inducing legumes in the diet is also another good way of treating adenoid and nasal septum deviation. A Tulsi leaf has given with a glass of warm water, empty stomach in the morning will help in removing the toxins. Exercise: Now let us understand the exercise part: Deep breathing exercise like pranayama will be helpful in the treatment of the problem. Doing cat and cow pose from our yoga books helps in improving lung capacity and clear the respiratory tract from toxins. Take your little one for an early morning walk in the sun, which will help the kid in taking in fresh air and sun will activate the cells. Meditation: This is the right time to expose your kid towards meditation. Tell him to sit crossed leg on the floor and repeat, " I am healthy and happy" for 10 times, slowly with each breath. With this tell him to imagine his self to be healthy and breath freely. This exercise of visualization will surely help the kid, in a long way. Sleep: Sleep is the most important part, teach him the importance of early to bed and early to rise. Tell him how important it is to wake up during sunrise. If he is taking any gadget and using it, please avoid an or two before sleep. These things will surely help the kid with the problem. Thank you

Hello Sanchita, Bloating and diarrhoea clearly indicate the problem with the digestive system. The food is not getting digested properly because of a bad metabolism which is causing bloating, diarrhoea, etc. The kind of food and the way of living like sleeping time, eating time, etc directly affects the body's metabolism and digestion. So, it is very important to choose wisely about what we eat and also to follow the correct lifestyle. Diet Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water in the morning on an empty stomach. Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water during the day to be hydrated. Exercise Exercising is essential to improve metabolism. Perform mild exercises and light yoga. Start the day with a short morning walk. Do sukshma vyayama like neck rotations, wrist rotations, knee bending, elbow bending. Take sunrays early in the morning. Take short walks after meals. Sleep Always take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Thank you

Hi Km Priyanka, Thank you for sharing your concern regarding your father. The white spots and hair patches that he is suffering from may be a alarming situtation but do not worry as the solution is within reach. Let's learn it from nature cure point of view. It is important to understand that a healthy skin mirrors a healthy body. Normally the liver, lungs and kidneys handle the job of filtering and elimination of body wastes. But when the system is congested with excess toxic load, the skin is called upon to handle waste elimination too. As the body throws out the wastes through the skin, we observe different kinds of skin issues in your father's case it is white patches and hair patches. Here are some diet & lifestyle guidlines: 1. Dairy, non-veg, processed foods, excess intake of grains, refined oils, sugar and salt 2. Add nourishing foods like raw vegetables and fruits. 3. Adequate proper exercise every day ensures good blood circulation 4. Sleep and rest are very important to recharge your body and heal. 5. Minimize the use of cosmetics and make your own cosmetics and toiletries at home with simple natural ingredients. 6. Sunlight strengthens and tones the skin. The action of sunlight is necessary for the synthesis of the many chemicals needed for proper functioning. 7. Give a break to your body by fasting for a couple of days in a week or 15 days. 8. Use a wet pack on your stomach and abdomen to improve digestion and elimination of toxins. Hello User, Bloating and gas are due to improper digestion, intolerance to a particular food or it may also occur due to overeating. Roast some ajwain on tawa and add rock salt to it. Drink it with water. Take a short wall for around 15 minutes. Here is the detailed description for the diet and habits that you should follow. Diet Don't overeat. Never skip meals. Eat only plant-based natural foods. Add roasted heeng, jeers, and ajwain in food while cooking. Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Avoid dairy products and animal food products. Avoid tea and coffee. Say no to alcohol. Avoid processed foods and packaged foods. Drink sufficient water during the day to be hydrated. Exercise Lack of physical activity may also lead to bloating. So, being physically active is also important. Start the day with a short morning walk of at least 30min. Take short walks after every meal. Sit in vajra asana after major meals. Practice suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, gomukha asana, trikona asana, padahasta asana, specially pawan mukta asana, also known as gas releasing pose. Sleeping A correct sleeping pattern is equally important as a correct diet. It affects the circadian rhythm and overall health. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Don't use any electronic devices 1hour before sleeping. Thank you

Hello Mansoor, Red patches, itching, etc is a condition in which the skin gets inflamed and becomes swollen, red and itchy. The main cause is the accumulation of toxins that triggers the disease or due to some allergy against which the body reacts. An incorrect lifestyle and wrong eating habits lead to such health issues. Reasons It may due to an overactive response of the immune system. Genetic factors or family history may also be the reasons. Physical allergens such as detergents, soap, makeup products may also lead to skin problems. Local application Take 1 tablespoon of turmeric and mix glycerin and water in it. Apply this to the affected area. Keep it for 5 minutes and then rinse it with plain water. Mix aloe vera gel and Gulab Jal. Apply the mixture on the affected area. Diet Start your day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon in it. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Eat light, plant-based natural foods. Drink sufficient water during the day to be hydrated. Drink coconut water. Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc. Avoid animal foods. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Physical activity Exercise or practice yoga daily as it is very important for a good metabolism as well as improves the blood circulation in the whole body. Do suryanamaskar daily, 12 sets a day. Practice tada asana, gomukha asana, trikona asana, vriksha asana. Take short walks after meals. Meditation It plays an important role in reducing stress and improving mental as well as physical health. Practice meditation regularly for 15-20min. Sleep Sleep is very important for the whole body and mind. During sleep, cytokines are released which helps to fight against the diseases. Hence, take proper sleep of 7-8hours daily. Avoid using electronic gadgets to improve the quality of sleep. Thank you
