There’s only one diet to be followed all through all the seasons
1 Consume fruits and vegetables that are in season and that which are grown locally. Do add some grains and nuts to your diet too.
2 Eat only when fully hungry
3 Do not overeat
4 Keep an eye on your elimination, see to it that it is always regular and clear.
5 Our first foods are fresh air, sunlight and the radiations from earth .... see to it that you fill your self up by them first thing in the morning.
6 Nourish yourself with lots of love and positivity too.

Hello Doshi,
Monsoon is the best time of the year, and making delicious food during monsoon is something that everyone craves for. Ideally people go for hot served bhajiyas, mango juice with deeply fried poori etc. However, we can still have the delicious diet we want and even with much more varieties,
1) Crispy Spinach fries ( oil free and oven baked)
2) couscous vegetable pulao
3) mango pulp with protein rich atta ( soy and lentil flour)
4) soy chap (made with organic coconut oil)
5) Sweet Potato chips (oil free, baked)
6) variety of vegetable soups
7) Carrot and Beetroot juice
8) Oven baked mix vegetable ( oil free)
9) Ginger ale (made at home)
10) Include fruits such as apples, guavas, pomegranates and pears
11) Include barley and oats in the diet
12) Include baked bittergourd in your diet.
There is a lot more that can be added to this list. Additionally, natural plant based diet has vast variety and a new dish can be tried everyday :)
Regards
- Include garlic and ginger
- Pepper
- Avoid rice and melons
- Animal products and frozen foods
- Drink water
- Apple, pomegranate, pears, lemon, orange can be taken
- Avoid all gluten sources

- Turmeric powder should be added in cooking
Monsoon seasons could cause many health conditions. Some of the commonest are common flu, mosquito or vector-borne diseases (malaria, chikungunya or dengue) cholera, typhoid, hepatitis etc are some of the commonest health conditions that could affect our human body.
In cities like Delhi, smog-related or pollution-related conditions are also very common. Smog related conditions affect our respiratory tracts and could produce allergic conditions, cough, rhinitis etc.
Diet for Monsoon Season:
- Eat seasonal fruits: Fruits like litchi, papaya, apples, berries, plums, cherries, pears, pomegranates, jamuns. These seasonal fruits could boost up your immune system. Avoid musk melon and watermelons.
- Reduce or avoid salt intake: This could retain the water in the body and not only that it could increase the blood pressure which could again increase the risk of other monsoon borne health conditions.
- Reduce intake of watery foods: Foods like buttermilk, lassi, rice, watermelon, muskmelon etc could increase the risk of your body more prone to catch some infections easily.
- Avoid spicy or oily diet: these could be difficult for the digestion process and also make our body more prone to infections
- Include garlic in your diet: Garlic could boost up your immunity when you could include in your diet.
- Avoid milk products. It is better to avoid all milk products. If you wish and if you are habituated, then you may avoid milk, instead, you may use curd or buttermilk during the day if at all. It is the best policy to avoid milk products during this season.
- Avoid out dining or eating out: Avoid junk foods, or eating out as this could increase your risk of infections.
- Drink boiled water. In states like Kerala, people boil water with cumin or jeera seeds.
- Avoid stale and cold foods...Its is better to avoid them as this could put your body for high risk of infections
- Avoid Meats: It is best policy to avoid non- vegetarian foods.
In monsoon we should avoid all leafy vegetable like cabbage spinach, and undigestive food unhealthy drink, dairy products, we shoukd all citrus fruits.
we should avoid all oily food in monsoon.
boiled steamed food is always a good option in monsoon.
Doshi, the Idea of a holistic approach to lifestyle means that irrespective of seasonal changes we remain healthy. Body changes its needs as it wants and we must focus on the natural principles of living
- High raw foods
- Respecting the circadian rhythm
- Natural Hydration to ensure body has enough to maintain homeostasis
- Enough exercise
- Breathing
- Mental poise
- Resting well
- Experience natural elements
- Not medicating the body to suppress any eliminations
- Not overloading the body with toxic foods the body can’t recognise - things unnatural that we can’t chew and digest in its raw state. Man made fake foods etc
- Freeing the body off digestion every few days
- Spending time Connecting with oneself the form of meditation
If we maintain our lifestyle along these lines as much as possible we will be healthy as there won’t be toxins collected to eliminate ( fall sick ). If we deviate, body will accumulate and eliminate. It’s all inour control whether it’s monsoon or summer.
Be blessed
