Hi everyone! A quick question - can we mix coconut with fruits?
Mayuri Goswami
05:15 PM | 11-02-2019
Ideally not. Both nut and fruits have different digestion times. So best to eat fruits alone. However sometimes for flavour you may. Recently, my son took a liking to milkshakes - milk mixed with fruits; if I say no he would insist on more of it. So in that case I figured coconut milk mixed with fruits might be a better option. I slowly weaned him away from the combi and got him back to fruit only smoothies :) Once in a while it might be ok to mix the two, but nuts are best mixed with veggies not fruits. Fruits demand their alone 'me-time' in your tummy. So eat them as is without mixing
Why do kids catch a cold on season change? How is this linked? My child has been running around with minimal woolens in peak winters. But just when it became rainy after the bright winter spell, he fell sick. Why does this happen?

Nobody catches cold! The occurrence of Flu, as I understand, that you are mentioning here, is due to TOXAEMIA*. When body gets enervated due to many reasons it starts accumulating TOXINS within the body. Naturally, the body triggers healing crises to clear the toxins accumulated within the body. FLU is an execution of HEALING CRISES* to clear the toxin. While maintaining the body temperature also eats up our vitality. SEASONAL CHANGE does affect on our vitality due its change. Our vitality starts accommodating with the change and sometimes gets enervated. Since the children havea lot of conserved vitality within their body triggers FLU, frequently to throw the toxins. It is a great action by the body, we should acknowledge it! On the other hand, we need to check the ENERVATION* or the overspend of VITALITY in our children to avoid such discomforting situations. THE CONSISTENT VITALITY CONSERVATION happens through these lifestyle choices, on a regular basis: RIGHT FOOD HABITS, BALANCED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING QUALITY SLEEP and STRESS-FREE MENTAL ENVIRONMENT. Do you eat three hours before bedtime? If you eat just before bedtime, body is busy digesting food and it may be uncomfotable to get into sleep mode. Are you on your electronic device before sleep? The blue light is known to interfere in sleep patterns. So try to be off your gardgets atleast an hour before you sleep. Sleep on time. Body likes regularity. Offload your worries by journaling before bedtime for a restful sleep. My grandmom applies some sesame oil to her feet and covers with socks before sleeping. Try it, it may help you Hope you feel well soon.
I am 37 years old and have started getting pain in my knees and heels since last 5-6 months. It does not affect me daily but hurts when I stand or walk for long. I am slightly obese (80kg @5"9 height) and I dont really exercise much with work being done mostly on laptop during the day. What could be the reasons for this problem and how can I cure it naturally?

The answer to your question is in your question, itself! Lack of physical activity is one of the main reasons of being enervated and lose out of CONSERVED VITALITY within the body. If we do not have enough CONSERVED VITALITY within the body, the body reduces the toxin expulsion from the body. When we have retained toxins within the body, it restricts the blood flow and the body tries to put pressure to overcome the restrictions in the blood flow and we experience the pain. The garbage, inside the body, needs to be thrown away. This can only happen NATURALLY, when we have enough CONSERVED VITALITY within the body. Hence, improve your lifestyle with the above. As per your question where you have admitted about the lack of physical activities, you need to improve there immediately! Thank you... The LAW OF UNITY is the answer! What is our objective? To get rid of the SYMPTOMS or to address the CAUSE, which leads to the removal of SYMPTOMS, may be slowly but surely! We need to dive deep to explore the cause of the problem that the individual is suffering from. If we go dialectically finding out the CAUSE, we shall find the lack of Nature-synchronous lifestyle causing excess depletion of the VITALITY is the primary cause. This ENERVATION leads the individual to a TOXAEMIC state due to lack vitality in proper ELIMINATION. The accumulated toxin is the SINGLE REASON of all our wellness problems. This eye problem is not a out of scope of this. The solution to the TOXAEMIA is consistent CONSERVATION OF VITALITY. With the raised levels of CONSERVED VITALITY, the individual certainly expels the accumulated toxins. Eventually the symptoms go away. THE VITALITY CONSERVATION happens through consistent RIGHT FOOD HABITS, BALANCED PHYSICAL ACTIVITY INCLUDING QUALITY SLEEP and STRESS-FREE MENTAL ENVIRONMENT. Thank you... Acid levels in uric acid test slightly high…what’s the solution?

You could try having a concoction of lemon juice diluted with equal amount of water. Have it every 3-4 hours. Basically with high uric acid your body is more acidic than alkaline, u have to restore the balance by upping the alkaline foods. Hope you don’t take dairy and wheat? These leave a high acidic residue in the body. Start your day with soaked raisins. - they are highly alkaline.

Any skin ailment is clearly a sign of toxic accumulation... little wonder then that you are constipated as well.Strike at the root cause which is your compromised elimination issue . Find out why is it .... your acid alkaline ratio is imbalanced .... are you sleep deprived?Repair / rejuvenation / healing occurs only in our 3 rd body cycle that is from 8pm to 4 am. Therefore it’s Mandatory to get quality 8 hour sleep more so in your case. Elimination occurs from 4am to 12pm .During this time it’s best to either fast or eat fruits ONLY but refrain from any cooked breakfast.Make cold pressed green leafy juice a lifestyle change . It’ll help you detox well.Do not use any deo/ perfume / anti perspirants on the body . Movement is very essential to get the lymph system going .Dry air brushing is also helpful. Include lots of raw in your diet. it goes without saying that gluten / oil / sugar / dairy should be avoided . My sister was a classic case of chronic ultricaria for years. With due respect to all the “pathy’s” nothing worked until she changed her lifestyle. Her ultricaria was life threatening it was so bad ... She used to literally get disfigured with the rashes . Now she’s Ultricaria free only because of adopting a holistic lifestyle and rid of all medications.
Hi My 7 year old has bad tooth ache in his molars and has swelling. What to do?
Anchal Kapur
10:51 AM | 19-11-2018
Hellos pls note, tooth ache and cavities if any are sign that the body and mouth has higher acidic medium vs. alkaline. Our food breaks down in our mouth through the chewing process. Food break down leave an acidic residue in the mouth, thus its important that your child cleanses his mouth with water after every time he eats. Also overall pls increase his overall intake of alkalizing foods such as fruits and vegetables. Do reduce refined foods, packaged foods, maida, sugar, refined oils etc. instead replenish with more whole, natural food choices such as nuts, seeds, sprouts, whole beans and legumes and fresh fruits and veggies. Excessive consumption of dairy, non veg and grains also cause higher acidic build up. As a process our body has innate repair mechanism and in theory can reverse cavities too and heal the tooth from within. The blood supply and therefore the nutrient supply to the outer layers of our tooth is not direct. The process itself is very slow and effort-full for the body. But we must still focus on building the inner blocks through correct natural food choices to ensure better dental hygiene. Hope he gets pain relief soon!
Hi moms, my daughter has been coughing from last 15-20 days in mornings and at night. The doc says it’s because of the allergies and not due to cold. I believe in natural home remedies and usually give her nutmeg and liquorice powder with honey and it helped her in past. Since this cough and congestion is not due to cold am not giving her these now. Can anyone recommend tried and tested remedies or safe medicines for chest congestion and cough. Thanks

Through cough and colds, esp nagging ones, the body is demanding a lot of rest. So, focus on her rest. Since she will be having disturbed sleep at night, make sure she is able to nap in afternoon in dark or call it an earlier night for next 15 days. Wind down, have aroma baths for her in evening. Keep her in dim lights in evening before you sleep. Because only in rest mode will the body repair. If she has a bad coughing spell at 3-4 am, keep her hydrated through soaked raisins. If you can afford keep her off school and allow her to rest do so.

1. Oil pulling. 2. Deep breathing for 45 minutes daily. Three seconds inhalation and seven seconds exhalation. 3. Simple neck rotation exercise, preferably early morning. 4. Sun bathing 30 minutes daily. Cervical spondylitis is sign of nervous system signal congestion in neck region. Check why this increase of signals is taking place. Heart, lungs and face are the place where you got to look for toxins accumulation as all nerves from these region concentrate in cervical region of spinal cord.

Take a ripe banana, cut the ends. Put the whole banana with skin in a pan with two cups of water. Boil till the water reduces to one cup. Remove the banana, strain the water and drink before sleeping. Continue for 30 days, if sleep doesn't improve, please comment your experience.
Hi… I think I am gaining weight due to water retention. What should I do?
Mayuri Goswami
11:46 AM | 27-12-2018
Relook at your salt intake (especially iodised, chemical salt). Salt entered our food systems, more for taste and offers no nutrition. In fact in terms of natural health, it is considered a foodless food. The manufacturing process and iodisation of salt has further complicated the various elements that enter our system along with salt. In today’s world, after sugar, this is a leading additive in every processed food item (as it works as a preservative & stabilizer) so much that even after reading the labels, it difficult to eliminate this. Salt is caustic to the sensitive inner tissues of the body & the cell structure hence water is retained within the body to neutralize its acidic effect. The body works furiously to eliminate the salt, but when is unable to do so deposits across body fluids. This actually artificially creates the signal of thirst too (Not sure if you getting that yet). Water retention thus can be construed as the presence of salt in the body which it is unable to flush out. Here is what you can do: What to eliminate: Processed packaged foods, outside meals, bottled sauces, pickles just about everything has a very high dose of salt – reduce them drastically (if not completely) Replace white salt at home with Sendha namak, and Himalayan pink salt. Reduce dairy, non-veg and grains intake – these heavy digesting foods hinder significantly with the process of elimination and make our body overwork.

Can someone tell me if there's a problem in eating papaya during pregnancy? I love papaya, but have been told not to eat it.
Shubhi Khurana
05:10 PM | 24-12-2018
There are many fruits which are recommended ‘not to be eaten’ during pregnancy like Pineapple, Tamarind, Papaya, Grapes etc. Common link is presence of high concentration of enzymes or chemicals in these fruits which can either lead to variations in important hormones or lead to uterine contractions which are not desirable during pregnancy. Papaya was strictly mentioned NO even by my Gynecologist. Some research at my end indicates that ripe Papaya is ok but raw or semi ripe Papaya has high concentrations of latex which can lead to uterine contractions. Remain safe and best thing is to avoid as it is matter of only few months!
My friend's 4 1/2 year old daughter doesn't want to drink milk. She gets a stomach ache after drinking milk. I understand we can give yogurt, cheese as substitutes for calcium. But would anyone know how much quantity to give. Is there some chart to understand how much quantity approximately of let's say yogurt or any other item with calcium be consumed to reach daily calcium requirement.
Asha Shivaram
05:33 PM | 20-12-2018
You don't need to have milk to meet calcium requirements. The fact that the child is getting stomah pain shows that she is not able to digest it well. In fact , 3 in 4 Indians cant digest milk products well. Give the child a varied diet of fruits, veggies and nuts and calcium requirement is autmatically taken care of. Greens, beans and nuts are high in calcium too.

Each cell of our body is connected to nervous system. When the nervous system doesn't get the necessary stimuli (all OK report) from a particular cell/part of the body, it initiates a motor stimuli for that cell or part of the body to shake/move it to get the stimuli. This motor stimuli is the cause of sudden shiver, sudden moment of limbs, unexplained shaking of fingers or joints. In your case it's the constant motor stimuli from brain to eyes for return call which is not happening. Do the following:- 1. Wash your face with cold water followed by warm water soaked towel press. 2. Avoid all stimulants like tea, coffee, aerated drinks, etc. 3. The main cause is inflammation, it could be anywhere in the upper body region. 4. Do oil pulling daily for next 30 days.
How to avoid laziness
Anchal Kapur
04:05 PM | 17-12-2018
Hi. I don't know if you asked this question in a fun way or seriously!! :-) But it's a very relevant query. Sharing from my personal experience - I used to feel lazy & low on energy for a very long while. Once I shifted to more of natural foods and reduced stress in my life, my energy levels zoomed. I was surprised!! Like you are now asking 'how to avoid laziness', once you experience these changes your question will be 'what to do with excess energy'? :-) The rationale is simple. When you eat easy-to-digest foods, the body spends less time on the 'digestion' function & hence more free energy is available. On the other hand, if you expend energy on taking stress or dealing with difficult to digest foods such as non-veg, junk, sugar, dairy, etc or if you sleep less, you feel tired & lazy.

Dear all,Anyone has any inputs regarding typhoid? Hubby is detected with it and in bad shape. He had severe vomiting and fainting spells last week and this was diagnosed in the blood test.
Anchal Kapur
02:40 PM | 03-09-2018
Hi. Your husband’s body seems to be acidic in nature, hence the typhoid. Germs need an acidic medium to grow and proliferate. Thus any illness (bacterial or viral) happens mainly cause our body acts as the host. We have higher toxicity due to multiple reasons such as processed foods, over consumption of dairy, grains and non veg, lack of ample fruits and veggies and raw in food, lack of proper rest and downtime to repair, lack of sunlight and fresh air, stress etc. You must focus on restoring the acid-alkaline balance of the body. Increase alkaline foods such as fruits and raw veggies. Reduce acidic foods such as grains, dairy, refined oil, refined salt, refined sugar and packaged foods. Increase his immunity by giving lemon-haldi-ginger-honey every 3-4 hours. Rest is extremely important and so is sunning.... good luck dear, hope he feels better soon
