Hello User, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that affects millions of children and often continues into childhood. ADHD includes a combination of persistent problems such as difficulty sustaining attention, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior. Children with ADHD may also trouble with poor relationships, low self esteem and poor performance in studies. While treatment won't cure ADHD, it can help a great deal with symptoms. Treatment involves behavioral interventions. The exact cause of ADHD is not known. Factors that are involved in the development of ADHD include genetics, environment or problems with the central nervous system. How to prevent it? During pregnancy Avoid anything that could harm fetal development. For example, don't drink alcohol, use recreational drugs or smoke cigarettes. Protect your child from exposure to pollutants and toxins Pollutants like dust, pollens, smoke and toxins in the environment may trigger the problem. Also, cigarette smokes and lead paint may also trigger. Limit screen time Children below the age of 5 years should not watch tv, computers, video games and laptops. Rays that come out of it may harm the patient. Meditation Meditation is very helpful in curing any health issue, specially when it comes to the problems that are related to nervous system. So, practice meditation regularly. Meditate for about 30min daily. Diet to follow- Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Include Vitamin C in your diet like have blueberries, oranges, lemon, amla, etc. Eat soaked raisins, dry fruits, and sprouts to get them easily absorbable nutrients. Have a fibre-rich diet. Eat salads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Also, drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibres. This will help in the movement of stool and will add bulk to the stool, so that, it can be removed easily from the body. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Exercise Doing exercise or yoga daily will help to improve the blood circulation in the body and also to improve the metabolism of the body. Take a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. What is Grounding & How it Benefits Your Health
Grounding Connects You to Earth's Calming Energy Try an experiment – After a busy day at work, with your body exhausted and your mind jittery, spend just 10 mins of your time lying on the grass or sitting on a park bench with your bare feet touching the ground, or feeling sand slip through your fingers. How does it make you feel? Do you feel your mind and body settling down and get a sense of release? What is Grounding? Grounding is the act of putting your skin in contact with the Earth's surface – soil, grass, sand, water, trees etc. It is also called as earthing. Until a few generations ago, humans walked and slept in direct contact with the surface of the earth. Now, with a busy life, we hardly ever are in touch with the Earth's natural elements like soil, trees and plants, flowers, rocks etc. This creates a disconnect of our own bio-rhythm with nature's rhythms creating dis-ease. We end up missing the nourishing, healing and calmin

Oil free Stir fry Veggies
Adding oil to stir-fry does not have to be obligatory; it is possible not to use oil in food preparation. In fact, refined oil which is neither a health food or whole food just adds more toxic digestive load on the body. Oils and fats, though needed by the body are best to be derived from naturally available sources like nuts. We generally prefer to cook without oil or add just a dash of cold pressed oil for flavour, if at all! It just takes a couple of trials to get used to cooking without oil. Discover the oil free way to stir frying your favourite combo of veggies!

When legumes are sprouted they become live food plus water rich. Nutritionally they become very rich due to the sprouting process. Their digestibility also increases due to the higher level of enzymes. Sprout can be consumed in salads or in a cooked meal. Salads are the best options but in cooked food, they are better than pulses. The important thing to remember is that chewing is a critical part of their digestion gas issues are outcome of our poor chewing habits. Other reason is poor food combinations. In cooked meals you can use sprouts in khichdi, make dal or put it in rice.

Healthy Party Hacks - Balance Festivities & Health
Often people ask me how to manage a healthy lifestyle that's harmonious with nature and social life. Just because one is health conscious does not mean he surrenders to a hermit's lifestyle. Where there are problems, solutions show up if we stick to our principles and keep an open mind to recognise it. In the past, partying, celebrations, big gatherings were fewer than today. But the trend seems to be increasing and so is the decline in the health of people. The rate of consumption of animal foods has skyrocketed. The more widespread the food varieties at a social gathering, the more satisfied is the ego. Our ancestors lived relatively healthy lives even without a lot of raw food-reason being that they stuck to simple uncontaminated foods, disciplined consumption, regular fasting, mental poise, working hard under the Sun and led a stress-free lifestyle. Today most of the birthdays are celebrated in fast food joints, festivals are lavish, marriages are too loud, with plen
