Hello Kunji, Acidity is a common digestion related problem that is faced by many people nowadays because of the sedentary lifestyle and wrong choices of food. Hello NT Arora, There are times when the ear can become clogged due to factors both outside and inside the ears. Clogged ears can affect the hearing and balance and cause pain and discomfort. Causes for clogged ears include earwax buildup, blocked eustachian tube, sinus infections, colds or allergies. High altitudes may also result in clogged ears. Acoustic trauma or benign growth inside the ear may also be the reason for clogged ears. Here are some ways that will help you to deal with the blocked ears naturally. Ear drops to loosen ear wax Ear wax forms a barrier between the opening of the ear and the sensitive apparatus of the inner ear. This wax builds up and eventually blocks the entire tube. Put 2 - 2 drops of warm mustard oil in each ear at night. Do this for 3 to 5 days continuously. It will help to remove the build-up earwax. Avoid cotton swabs or tools People should never use cotton swabs to clean their ears. Cotton swabs can cause blockages by pushing earwax deeper into the ears. People should not try to dig the earwax out as it could cause damage to the ears. Take steam Steam can help unclog an ear when the cause is an infection or allergies. This is because the sinuses connect directly back to the ears. To use steam : Heat up the water in a pot until it boils. Remove the pot from the heat and place a towel over it and head. Take several deep breaths to inhale the steam. Use a warm compress A compress can be applied to drain the nasal passages of mucus and reduce the amount in the ears. Applying a warm compress is simply done as follows : Pour hot water into a clean washcloth. Once the cloth is soaked, it should be squeezed out. Hold the washcloth below the affected ear for about 5 to 10 minutes. Gargle with saltwater A saltwater gargle can aid in reducing mucus in both the nose and ears. To use a saltwater gargle, a person needs to add a little salt to some water and mix them together. Once mixed, gargle with salt water for a few seconds and then spit it out. In case of high altitude If the blockage is due to the high altitude, then try - Yawning Chewing Swallowing Gently blowing the nose while pinching the nostrils shut until a popping sound is heard. Thank you

I have blocked fallopian tubes, what can be done to avoid ivf? Trying to conceive past 3 years

Hello User, Once the disease enters the body, it is the whole body that needs to heal and not just thatpart and this is what natural cure is all about. Blocked fallopian tubes can be due to two reasons: structural or functional. In functional, there is the intervention of the inflammation process resulting in the block. In case it is prolonged, I would like to advise you to visit our naturopathy experts. Structural reasons can be an injury. When an infection is not treated for long, it causes scar in between the tube resulting in blockage. Guidelines for a functional block of Fallopian tubes: A disease of the reproductive system starts with the high fat and chemical-based diet that we are loading our gastrointestinal tract with. Any disease can make you pre-dispose to another, because of your lifestyle continuation. If you take care of your lifestyle at this moment, then there are definite chances that you get yourself treated well and your menstrual cycle will regularise, if its not, with your inflammation getting cured. But we have to treat our body on the whole so that we can even stop any future problems with our reproductive tract. In any case, the cure remains the same, which is a holistic cure in nature's way. Eat: Start with food items like jaggery, dates, sprouts, green leafy vegetables which help in increasing iron content which helps in treating inflammation and releasing blockage. One inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water with a tablespoon of lemon helps in treating inflammation, consume it during the evening. Vitamin C addition helps in easy-iron absorption, for example adding lemon in dals. Vitamin C keeps our cells activated by absorbing the iron in the body. Cumin water acts as a coolant and helps in enhancing the reproductive cycle. Exercise: Sleep on your back, raise your one leg and start rotating in a circular motion for 5 times and place it back, repeat the same with another leg. This will elevate your uterine muscles. Squats are another exercise to improve uterine health. Do it 15-20 times at one time. Sit and take 10-15 long deep breaths from the abdomen, to release all the toxicity from the body, helping us to gain back our normal menstrual cycle and healthy reproductive system. Warm baths, by sitting in a tub with lukewarm water, it will dissolve and help in dilating blood vessels and releasing the blocks. Meditation: While sleeping, take a bowl of water. Put two-three essential oil drops like lavender or orange and inhale it. It will help in calming nerves and automatically our body will start getting the rhythm back. Listen to music for 15 minutes by closing your eyes and deep breathing. This will help in controlling anxiety during stress. Massage your pelvis with coconut oil, this will help in healing blood circulation. Sleep: Sleep should be of 7-8 hours, sound. This will help in releasing all stress and treat all the issues in a healthy manner. It is time to get yourself healthy and wise. Hopefully, these suggestions will be helpful Thank you.

I have chronic constipation what can i do?

01:24 PM | 10-07-2020
Hello Yogesh Jain, Constipation is the result of indigestion. It shows our digestive tract is suffering from all the types of food we are not able to digest but loading into our stomach. The best way to deal with constipation is to improve our eating habits. Having the meals in the time which are effective in having nutrition is what we need for better digestion. With refined sugars, milk, and gluten in our daily diet, our metabolism becomes sluggish and difficult to absorb all the nutrients. The most important thing which we should start with is-the lighter the diet, the easier the digestion and better the excretion. But as we believe in a natural way, it is the amalgamation of sleep, eat, meditation, and exercise which we should be doing for long term cure. A holistic measure is the only way you can treat this thing completely. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach. Consume a plate of tomatoes with black pepper an hour before a meal, for easy digestion. Fennel seeds after a meal will help in increasing the digestive system's pace. Consuming bottle guard juice in your breakfast will help in treating digestive tract problems, consume it during breakfast time. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Practice Vajrasana after every meal in order to aid digestion. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil this will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you Thank you.

I have suddenly developed a light whitish patch near my eye... Can this be solved

Nikita Mishra
12:03 PM | 03-12-2020
Hello, White spots on the skin are caused by various reasons like deficiency of nutrients or vitiligo or allergy. White patches on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy or autoimmune disorder. Rarely, skin cancers and precancerous changes can cause white patches on the skin, but these serious causes are much less common. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor. This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily. Tinea versicolor is sometimes associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches. Another important cause of white patches on the skin is vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder that leads to the destruction of melanocytes, the cells that make the pigment that gives your skin colour. White patches from vitiligo may come and go or they may be permanent. Here are some remedies for white patches. Drink water and consume foods from vessels that are made from copper. Especially drink water from a copper vessel that is kept overnight. Do not stress out much and try relaxing when you encounter a stressful moment. Do not use chemical-based bathing soaps that drain all of your body oil. Bathe every day for a minimum of 20 days. Stand in the early morning sun for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Do not use chemical-based creams and cosmetics or the ones which are allergic to you. Add foods that are rich in iron such as cereals, beans and leafy vegetables. Avoid consumption of dairy foods, animal foods and seafood. Avoid coffee, tea and other caffeinated drinks. Avoid alcohol. Drink ginger juice as this increases blood flow to the white patches on your skin. Dry pomegranate leaves and powder it. Mix 8 grams of this in water and consume it every morning. Consume almond milk. Do pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Thank you

These obsessions and compulsions interfere with the daily activities and cause significant distress. The person suffering from OCD repetitively repeats the activities like repeatedly washing hands, brushing teeth, etc. Such behavior results in anxiety, depression and other mental issues. Here are a few tips that will surely help you: Meditation Meditation is the ultimate key to achieving good mental health. Just like our physical health, our mental health is also equally important and meditation is the best to achieve the same. Give 20 to 25 minutes from your busy day for meditation. Practice it in sukhasana or padma asana and concentrate on your breathing. Daily meditating will surely lead to a healthy and happy mind. Diet Diet also has an impact on our mental health as our metabolism depends on the foods that we have which in turn affects the hormonal secretions. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to boost the metabolism at the start of the day. Have soaked raisins and other dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients. Eat sprouts, nuts, beans and salads. Include Vitamin C in your diet like blueberries, amla, orange or lemon as they have antioxidant properties. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body and to be hydrated. Avoid dairy products and animal products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence it results in the accumulation of toxins in the body. Avoid processed, packaged and preserved foods as they have bad effects on our digestive system. Yoga Daily yoga is very effective for achieving a good balance between the mind, body and soul. Practice suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, paschimottan asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly for 15-20min, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Take sunrays early in the morning. Sleep The quality and pattern of the sleep also determine the state of our mental health as it affects the circadian rhythm and in turn the hormonal balance. Sometimes, lack of proper also leads to mental illness. So, take proper sleep of at least 8 to 10 hours daily. Avoid electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, computers, tv, etc at least 1hour before sleeping to improve the quality of sleep. Sleep in a dark room and the place of sleep should be quiet and clean. Thank you

Hello Saba, As far as the cooking oil is considered, it is best to use the cold pressed oil for cooking. All your health issues are inter-related. Hence, it is necessary to treat the root cause for achieving overall good health. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, both the problems can be cured naturally. Foods to eat Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This drink will boost the metabolism in the morning and also will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Have flax seeds. Drink green tea twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and the other before sleeping in the night. Cook oil-free or use cold-pressed oil. Replace white rice with brown rice. Eat the only plant-based natural raw foods. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Choose seasonal fruits and vegetables to eat. Eat sprouts, nuts, salads, beans to fulfil the nutritional requirements of the body. Foods to avoid- Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc. Avoid animal foods. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid processed foods, packaged foods, oily foods, and spicy foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Exercise Exercising is very important to improve the metabolism of the body which becomes very slow in thyroid patients. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, chakra asana, paschimottan asana daily. Do kapalbhati pranayam daily. Practice ujjayi Pranayam and bhramri pranayam. They are very effective for thyroid. Hello Vineeta, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder which is common in women of reproductive age. Women suffering from PCOS may have prolonged menstrual periods or infrequent periods. The exact cause of PCOS is not known. However, Obese women and women having a family history of PCOS are more prone to this disorder. If it is left untreated, some cysts can decrease fertility. This is common with endometriomas and polycystic ovary syndrome. To improve fertility, treatment of the cyst is needed. Here are some tips to follow for management. Diet to follow- Eating processed and preserved foods may contribute to inflammation and insulin resistance. So, avoid processed, preserved and packaged foods. Add fruits, legumes and vegetables in your diet. Eat nuts, sprouts and soaked raisins in the morning. Add iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach to your diet. Have magnesium-rich foods like almonds, cashews and bananas. Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has positive effects on insulin resistance. Avoid caffeine. Avoid carbonated drinks. Say no to alcohol, tobacco. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Exercise Doing yoga is very beneficial for PCOS. Perform bhujanga asana, vriksha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom pranayam. Take sunrays regularly in the morning for at least 20min. Sleep Sleeping pattern is very essential for a healthy hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you
