Two foods will greatly help - green leaf vegetable and coconut. Start the day with green leafs vegetable juice and have half a coconut daily. Coconut may be eaten straight or may be added to smoothies or as chutneys. Avoid salt, sugar and oil.

Its true. I have a daughter who has small acne on her forehead too. She has healthy eating habits and we use only whole foods at home that are organic. At this age there will be some harmonal fluctuations and over time it will stabilize. Turmeric helps..but healing is typically an inside out approach and not outside in. Unless she is on full raw / high raw with only dinner cooked, body will continue to act funny in this age.

First of all, congrats on deciding to detox. Can i ask what steps have you taken to detox ? Is this a lifestyle change / diet for sometime ? When you go healthy in whatever way you have chosen, your body eliminates the toxins you wanted to shed. However, how and when it will shed is not known to anyone. This is called the healing crisis period and you must expect all the unexpected issues including emotional outbursts at this time. The advice is to not think "medicinal" and supress that with herbal / any form of drinks. Instead continue the healthy lifestyle and let the body do its job. When we decide to detox, we must also decide to stop thinking "medicine" that relieves the discomfort. In the continual process of removing such discomforts, our bodies become abused and collect toxins. So we must get out of this mindset of stopping the elimination.

I can tell you two things - First - It's best to avoid chemical based harsh shampoos and conditioners. You may feel theywill improve your hair, but trust me its only short term. Look around for natural ingredients based shampoo. I know someone in Gurgaon, my neighbor in fact, who does natural shampoos, free from SLS, paraben, etc. If you want I can put you in touch with her. 2nd - All my life I had dry hair. They looked very rough. But since 2015, when I changed my diet to whole plant based, my hair became shiny & manageable. No matter what you do externally for your daughter's hair, pls don't ignore that she has to be well nourished from within too. Fruits, a generous serving every morning & evening, fruit juices, fruit smoothies, veggie juices, coconut water - basically look for high water content food.

I used to have regular and severe spondylitis for a long period of time, which then aggravated to vertigo. Once I made concrete changes to my lifestyle, this problem went away on its own. Your brother can do the following for immediate relief: 1) Before sleeping, apply ginger juice with coconut oil on the back of your neck, the elbows and the soles of your feet. This will dilate the area, create better blood flow and thereby faster healing. 2) Bathe twice a day. After apply coconut oil with rose water on your damp skin. Rinse off after. 3) 2-3 times a day, shut eye, stretch and breathe. 4) If in very bad shape, physiotherapy should be done For long term relief, only concrete changes in daily lifestyle is the key. Here are a few things he can do: Conserve energy by reducing digestion. Eat only two cooked meals a day. Have a full breakfast of fruits in morning. Eat as much as you can 2-3 times within a span of 3 hours. Have an early lunch and an early dinner. Each cooked meal to be eaten with a salad. Through the rest of the day, whenever you want to eat, nourish yourself with raw foods such as fruits, veg juices, nuts , sprouts snack etc. Daily activity and exercise is important. However for this, you will need to align your food first, this will allow body the space and energy to ‘feel’ like exercising. Till then Neck and Shoulder movements is suggested. Daily exposure to fresh sunlight/ day light and fresh air is important. Find your 30 minutes daily, and establish that nature connect.

Hi! As a kid, I would often suffer from nose bleeding in summers. It was basically because the sensitive nerves in the nose would rupture due to heat. The blood used to gush out quite quickly, it was quite scary. As I grew up, it became ok on its own. I think what really worked for me was multaani mitti. My mom would wet it & give it to me for inhaling deeply. It had a cooling impact & maybe my nose nerves became stronger too with the deep breathing. I would do this as a preventive measure, almost everyday, without waiting for the bleeding to begin. I used to avoid over-exposure to the summer sun & would use a cold pack on the nose & wet my head whenever there was nose bleeding. I would suggest you try the multaani mitti remedy & see if it helps. Watch it for sometime, else visit a naturopath or natural health expert.
