Nikita Mishra
01:30 PM | 04-05-2021
Hello Zara, We can understand ama dosha as toxins that are formed in the body as a result of incorrect diet and wrong lifestyle. Intermittent fasting, drinking warm water, eating foods that may increase your "jatharagni" i.e digestive fire are some of the ways to remove ama dosha. For losing weight, lifestyle and habits have to be changed. Weight loss becomes difficult when we don't know the correct method and follow the wrong method for losing weight. The most important thing for achieving weight loss is determination. If you are determined for losing those extra pounds then you will surely achieve it. Diet plays an important role in weight loss or weight gain. Along with the diet, exercise is also equally important. Diet Start the day with a glass of warm water with fresh lemon juice in it. This will help to increase the metabolism of the body. Have only plant-based natural diet. Have your dinner at around 7 pm and don't eat anything until 8 am of the next day morning. This is also a type of intermittent fasting which is effective in weight loss. Include proteins in your diet. Have sprouts, nuts, beans and dry fruits. Drink coconut water. Cook oil-free. Avoid packaged, processed and oily foods. Eat fresh, seasonal and locally available fruits and vegetables. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated. Exercise Along with the diet, exercising is also necessary for weight loss. Start the day with jogging for atleast 20min. After that do plank for about 5minutes. Then, practice yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, chakra asana, paschimottan asana and padahasta asana. Do suryanamaskar daily. Practice kapalbhati pranayam and anulom-vilom pranayam regularly. Sleep Sleeping is also essential for a healthy body. Sometimes lack if sleep also leads to weight gain. So, it is important to have good quality sleep daily. Hence, take proper sleep of atleast 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you

Hello Sada, AMH levels are determined by the number of developing follicles in your ovaries. The most important determining factor in the number of follicles is age, as ovarian reserve diminishes over time. Ovarian reserve begins to decline in the mid and late 30s and AMH levels tend to be low in women in their 40s. Age is not always a factor in low AMH. However, some women continue to have high AMH levels into their 40s, while others have declining AMH levels in their 20s or 30s. This can be due to environmental factors such as cancer treatment or down to inherited genetic causes. Here are some of the ways to deal with low amh naturally. Diet Eat a balanced diet to improve your fertility. Choose foods that are rich in antioxidants, healthy fats such as omega 3s, lean proteins and vitamins. Eating a healthy diet can improve the health of your ovaries and eggs. Include beans, broccoli, berries such as blueberries and strawberries, green leafy vegetables, spices such as turmeric and ginger and seeds (pumpkin, sesame) in your diet. Take sunshine daily Vitamin D has been shown to directly increase AMH levels, so take early morning sunrays daily for atleast 40 - 45 minutes, so that, your body can have the sufficient Vitamin D. Vitamin D can also help to keep your ovaries healthy. Say no to smoking Smoking permanently speeds up egg loss in the ovaries. The chemicals in cigarettes mutate the DNA in a woman's egg cells, making some of the eggs unsuitable for conception. So, it is best to keep eggs healthy and free of unnecessary chemicals. Manage stress levels Stress can produce hormones such as cortisol and prolactin that can interfere or halt ovulation, which also hinders egg production. Stress-reducing activities such as yoga, meditation, exercise or a warm bath can help keep stress and frustration at bay. Yoga Good egg health is aided by oxygen-rich blood flow to the ovaries. Blood flow in the body can quickly decrease from dehydration, so aim to drink atleast 10 glasses of water each day. Yoga is a healthy and relaxing way to improve blood flow. Perform yogasanas such as the lotus pose, child’s pose, reclining hero and seated forward bend.

Hello, Diet is very essential for a healthy body and mind but along with this, physical activity, correct lifestyle and sleeping habits are also equally important. Eating correctly is essential but along with a correct diet, appropriate absorption of the foods that we eat is also important, so that our body can utilise the nutrients present in the foods. For this, appropriate functioning of digestive system is important. Acid reflux results due to improper time of eating foods and also incorrect choice of foods that you eat. Along with this, here are some tips that should be followed. Diet to follow- Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This will help to boost the metabolism as well as to flush the toxins out of the body. Eat only plant-based natural foods. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Have soaked dry fruits and sprouts in the morning on an empty stomach to get the easily absorbable nutrients. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink almond milk. Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc. Use cold-pressed oil for cooking. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated and remove the toxins out of the body. Foods to avoid- Avoid animal foods and also avoid dairy products. Avoid processed, packaged foods. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid white sugars. Avoid refined oils and refined grains. Hello, Herpes zoster is a viral infection that causes a painful rash. Although it can occur anywhere on your body, it most often appears as a single stripe of blisters that wraps around either the left or the right side of your torso. Shingles are caused by the vericella zoaster virus, the same virus which causes chickenpox. After you've had chickenpox, the virus lies inactive in nerve tissues near your spinal cord and brain. Years later, the virus may reactivate as shingles. Symptoms that may appear Pain Burning Itching Red rashes Fluid-filled blisters Sometimes, fever, headache, fatigue may also occur. Local application Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda or cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water to make a paste. Apply this paste on the rashes. This will help to reduce the itching. Use this 3 to 4 times a day or as required. Apply lotions or creams on the rashes. They will give you a comfort feel. Use naturally prepared creams instead of using scented lotions and creams. Apply fresh aloe vera gel on your rashes. Cold compresses To relieve the pain and itchiness associated with the rashes, apply a cool and moist compress. Do it 4 to 5 times or several times a day to get relief from the symptoms. Soak a cloth in the cold water. Wring out the water and apply the cloth on the affected area. This will help to relieve the pain and itchiness. Do not use ice packs on the rashes as they may increase skin sensitivity and worsen the pain. Baths Take a cool bath or shower to soothe the skin. Do not use hot water as it may worsen the blisters because it increases the blood flow. When you take a cold water bath then the coolness of water eases the pain of the blisters and also calms the itchiness. Dietary changes Avoid dairy products and animal foods like eggs, meats, milk, etc. Avoid spicy and oily foods. Always have plant-based natural foods. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Drink coconut water. Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet. Include Vitamin C in your diet like blueberries, amla, orange, lemon, etc. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated. Thank you

Therefore in this way you can use coconut water for gallstones treatment. These are all general guidelines. Services of a qualified Naturopath should be availed PREVENTION IS ALWAYS THE BEST CURE. PREVENTION Prevention is better than cure. Wisdom lies in preventing the formations of gravels or stones in the gallbladder. The only sensible way for this is to follow the life natural. In the words of Dr. J.H.Tilden,of U.S.A. It is doubtful if such diseases as renal colic, gall-stone or stone in the urinary bladder will ever develop if the dietary is well balanced, carrying enough raw vegetables and fruits to prevent the accumulation of minerals in wrong and overworked emotions and the use of stimulants, will cause the disease, Some eminent nutritionists also agree that regular consumption of foods depleted of certain vitamins predispose of formation of stones in the gallbladder. We would advise the health seekers to take to a vegetablrian diet thus ensuring a plentiful supply of vitamins and minerals salts enzymes and trace elements V.S.Pawar Member Indian institute of natural therapeutics
