Experts have answered the how to stay healthy part. I would like to add few to that. Immunity is a very misunderstood word. Body eliminates toxins when it accumulates and the frequency depends on the vitality ( energy that is available to be used to perform various actions in the body). Immunity in medical terms means the body must not get cold cough or other forms of eliminations. If it happens they suppress it with meds and ensures that any discomfort is removed from the surface while the underlying issue is not addressed. This is the meaning of immunity. We educate a healthy lifestyle here and also throw light on why body eliminates and why it’s okay to not be scared of eliminations. We don’t live in a sterile environment. We breathe polluted air, we drink polluted water, we do have negative thoughts, we are surrounded by chemicals that touch the skin, we eat contaminated food, we do indulge in social events even if it’s occasional.. etc. As the body becomes more and more efficient with a good lifestyle, it will also increase the power to throw away junk when the body encounters it. So unless you understand these, you might also think that living a healthy lifestyle does not increase the ‘immunity’. Hence this is a misunderstanding. A healthy lifestyle aims to get us back to the way body expects us to live in order to function efficiently. In the process if body eliminates in cold cough fever skin issues, we must not surrender to any form of medication - allopathy/ homeopathy/ Ayurvedic and let the body go through its cycle of clean up. It’s easier to pass this phase while keeping the digestion less and thinking less and resting more. Hello User, The first thing coronavirus affects is our respiratory system first, the most important thing to understand is now that we know that it affects our lung tissues and the route that it enters our body is through airborne. Hence, we have to take care of when we are coughing and sneezing. It is time to take measures in a holistic manner so that we can help ourselves. A lighter diet will help in accelerating our immunity and our body can be back in harmony. With a holistic way you can overall help yourself, that is why by taking a step towards holistic health you can effectively treat yourself in nature's way. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night. You can also choose to have vegetable juice in your breakfast, it is an easier way to absorb all the nutrients. High Vitamin C diet is very much recommended, take a glass of chia seeds soaked in one glass of water for two hours and add one tablespoon of lemon juice with it. Drink this mixture two hours after your meals, it is a vitamin C booster drink which will enhance immunity. Take one tablespoon of coconut oil at night before sleep two hours after your dinner, it increases our metabolism. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays it helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshens us for the whole day, it stimulates our system and strengthens our immunity. An early morning walk is recommended. Cat-cow pose, cobra pose, fish pose repeat each pose 3-5 times by holding it for 5-10 seconds and continue in the given order. This will help in treating the respiratory issues as it strengthens lung tissues. And proceed with a session of Suryanamaskar. These poses help in accelerating the action of our immunity. Suryanamaskar will help in treating the health issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Meditation: Stop using the gadget on hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils and then with the smell itself you will start feeling calm. Rosemary and lavender oil will be helpful. Take 10 long deep breaths, and allow your body to relax, any thought which comes, let it go do not resist. Say the affirmation, "I am healthy and happy" with each breath. Imagine your thyroid to be healthy and see yourself breathing completely and enjoying nature. This will help in curbing all your issues even in the long run. Sleep: The sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing. Make sure your room is gadget-free an hour before sleep. I have been suffering from fibromyalgia since 2015 which puts me in chronic fatigue and pain 24*7 with IBS and low energy. In 2018, I got to know that I am HLA b27 postive and I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. Immunity is going very low day by day. Also suffering with straightening of cervical lordosis and maxillary sinusitis. Partail bifid spine at L5 and osteophytes are seen in D12 and L1 vertebra. It is time to make some changes in the lifestyle in order to treat the condition effectively. From neck to the lower back, it has a tendency to make our spine more rigid. Here are a few guidelines which you can keep in mind in order to heal. My 4. 7 year old twins have adenoids hypertrophy, cronic cough, frequent viral infections from last 1. 6years year. I tried nasal steroids spray, homopathy and ayurveda but their condition is the same. I tried to increase their immunity, giving warm tulsi water, reducing dairy, no junk food but nothing works. Prepare a mixture of ginger,turmeric,black pepper,tulasi and give it to your child. Give hot water steam to your child. Give your child hot water with honey and lemon. Apply warm mustard oil mixed with rock salt to your child's chest. Include nuts,almonds, raisins,sprouts to your child's diet. Things to avoid Avoid the child's contact with the infected person. Hello :) It is a very good question. Well I would say Clean Plant based diet and nuts or seeds diet has the essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals for the growing kids. In fact the more greens they consume in their diet, that helps them to get the essential nutrients. Therefore a lot of greens, nuts and seeds diet along with pulses can never harm their growth. So a low-sodium diet is recommended for the stone prone. Current guidelines suggest limiting total daily sodium intake to 2,300 mg. -Calcium intake ; Getting too little calcium in your diet can cause oxalate levels to rise and cause kidney stones. To prevent this, make sure to take in an amount of calcium appropriate to your age (obtain calcium from plant source only). -Limit animal protein: Eating too much animal protein, such as red meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood, boosts the level of uric acid and could lead to kidney stones. A high-protein diet also reduces levels of citrate, the chemical in urine that helps prevent stones from forming. -Avoid other stone-forming foods: Beets, chocolate, spinach, rhubarb, tea, and most nuts are rich in oxalate, and colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones. I am 29 years old male. I had panic attacks for 6 months and was under psychiatric medication. Now I am only on propranolol beta blocker 10mg. Hello Reena, Gall bladder stones result due to an increased cholesterol levels which is mainly due to a fat rich diet. Excessive stress, incorrect lifestyle, wrong eating habits, an improper sleeping patterns may also lead to increased cholesterol levels whereas Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder which is common in women of reproductive age. Women suffering from PCOS may have prolonged menstrual periods or infrequent periods. The exact cause of PCOS is not known. However, Obese women and women having a family history of PCOS are more prone to this disorder. If it is left untreated, some cysts can decrease fertility. This is common with endometriomas and polycystic ovary syndrome. Here are some tips to follow for the management of both. Diet to follow- Eating processed and preserved foods may contribute to inflammation and insulin resistance. So, avoid processed, preserved and packaged foods. Add fruits, legumes and vegetables in your diet. Eat nuts, sprouts and soaked raisins in the morning. Add iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach to your diet. Have magnesium-rich foods like almonds, cashews and bananas. Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has positive effects on insulin resistance. Avoid caffeine. Avoid carbonated drinks. Say no to alcohol, tobacco. Dear Health seeker, Though one kidney was sufficient to sustain our organism, yet GOD has been all grace to grand us the services of two kidneys. He knew before hand that His best creation would in order to over indulge in sensory organs will one day make short work of both the kidneys and then will cry foul play and seek the remedial measure to put his kidneys to work at the optimum again. Food to be avoided : 1) High protein diet is the enemy no. one for the gravel to form. 2) Drinking of stimulants like tea, coffee in general and chocolate and its preparation in cakes, pastries, in particular, are next in the queue to precipitate gravel ( stones in the kidneys). 3) Avoid all pulses, eggs, fish, fowl and flesh. 4) Avoid all species and condiments. 5) Avoid drinking of enormous amounts of water as is suggested by so-called sooth sayers, most Dr. And Vaidyas. My 25-year-old friend suffered from an epileptic stroke 2 years back, Since then she is on constant medication for which the doctor has advised lifelong. She used to get minor jerks during her menstrual cycles, but it was the first time she got an epileptic fit. After that, she never got it again. But sometimes the jerks do happen. Don't use any artificial sweeteners. Replace your regular white sugar with brown sugar. Consume sizable portions of carrots, beetroot, okra and asparagus. Yoga It is very essential to dedicate atleast 30min in yoga. Practicing yoga daily helps to improve blood circulation, nerve functioning and also improves immune system. Start with the sukshma vyayama. Move fingers of your feet and hands, then roll your feet from the ankle antilock wise and clockwise 10-10 times. Move neck from right to left and then left to right 10- 10 times. Then, do paschimottan asana, matsya asana and hala asana. Some other tips Clean and grind asparagus leaves and apply it on the area of pain caused by paralysis. Namaste Ekta, Your body is already well equpped to heal itself. You just need to make the needed inclusions and exclusions that will support your body in getting back to its normal self. What we think as immunity power is actually our vitality or life force that, when let to function unhindered will take care of cleansing, healing etc. Your body is not able to function normally at the moment because it is being drained of its vitality by the accumulated toxins, chemical or metal deposits from unhealthy living and eating habits, eating too much of processed and packaged foods laden with additives and preservatives, intake of medicines, vaccinations etc. What are the lifestyle practices that you need to include in your daily routine to remove the toxins and chemical deposits from your body? 1 Connect with nature. Go out in the sun every morning and soak in the early morning rays. 2 Do some relaxed and deep breathing in the fresh air everyday. You may practice pranayam if you have learnt. If not just practice Diaphramatic breathing. 3 Go out and spend some time with mother earth. Walk barefopot. Sit on the mud or grass. Or if possible do some gardening. 4 Get well hydrated by consuming lot of fresh, locally grown and seasonal fruits and vegetables. 5 Rest well. Get atleast 8 hours of deep sleep. And please go to bed in the early part of the night. And wake up with the sun. 6 Keep an eye on your bowel movements. eliminate more than you eat. 7 Do some physical excercise. Move your body. Walk, do Yoga, get into some regular outdoor sport. What could you eat? Start your day with a fresh juicy sweet fruit as late in the morning as possible. Have a fruit meal for lunch. And you may finish dinner before the sun sets with a fresh vegetable salad with lots of fresh vegetables,sprouts, soaked nuts and greens. What should you avoid? 1 No processed or packaged food. No sugar, salt or refined flours and refined oils. 2 Avoid eating when not hungry. Never over eat. Dont starve. Dont eat when not in a positive mood. 3 Over working, when not feeling like working. I am suffering from cough and malnutrition. Though i eat well but still i am not able to gain weight. Dairy products ,bananas and oily foods are prohibited. What should i do to improve my immunity and gain weight without those allergic foods?

You can healthily improve your weight with adequate nutrition, you can start with a protein-rich diet which helps in improving your weight and help in building muscle power. Soya chunks, green leafy vegetables and lentils and chick peas. Include them as daily art of your diet you will see the results soon. Start with some weight gain exercises like; Squats Chin-ups Dips. Try intermittent fasting.just give your body a break. Remember no one can heal your body, not the doctors,not me, not the naturopaths, Your body heals itself. Your body already knows the best possible way to get you healthy. All you need to do is listen to your body and support it. Ahappy lso, add more alkaline foods into your diet like spinach, swiss chard, mustard greens, etc. Go for brown rice instead of white rice. you can also go vegan. And this isnt about making you feel good or to inspire you. This is how it works, this is how your body works. Everything's chemistry guys. If you provide your body with everything it needs, it will definitely heal itself. Remember, this human body is a self healing mechanism. Happy healing.
