Hi there , It is more important to check your height and weight proportion rather then your age and weight proportion however if you want to reduce your weight first of all you have to check the quality and quantity of your food intake . With animal products in your meals, acidity in the body increases and the body will suck all the alkaline enzymes to maintain homeostasis. If high acidic foods ( not coming under category of fruits veg veggies greens majorly) are injested, their ph is less than normal, the stomach does not need to make it acidic to process. The pancreas won’t produce the alkaline buffers to the blood to neutralise the acidity raised by the stomach. So this acidic food in its state reaches the next few levels like the duodenum which are not geared for this ph level and bile from liver and gallbladder is called to rescue this balance. As this bile continues to be overproduced, liver becomes tired. If liver and gallbladder are not in a good working condition, enough Bile is not made available in the duodenum, and this is how acidic food reaches the intestines. . As liver weakens, the body cleaning is also compromised and blood continues to carry acidic toxins that have the liver could not manage and have reached the intestines where nutrients get absorbed. I went to acidity in the blood goes up, the blood first uses of the alkaline buffers present in its blood plasma to bring the blood closer to an alkaline pH. Unfortunately because of continuous supply of acidic foods to the body, the level of alkaline buffers is often very low. If the blood pH value falls below this range, then all the bodily fluids such as urine, lymphatic fluid, semen, Cerebrospinal fluids, saliva everything starts becoming acidic. This disrupts all the cellular function in the body and disturbs the balance. To prevent such a state of decline, the blood starts reducing its acidity by neutralising it with one of the most alkaline substance in the body that is calcium from the bones. Keep your meal portions small. Incorporate a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Be sure to eat fruits alone, not mixed with other meal items. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself. Hi Samridhi, Firstly do a check on your daily routine. Get up early in the morning and also sleep early. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables, sprouts ,whole grains like barley as your main meal. Avoid white bread, wheat,biscuits, jam,cookies. Avoid tea ,coffee and other caffeinated drinks. Try to cut your dairy products intake like milk,paneer, buttermilk. Try to avoid packaged foods, processed food items, oily foods. Try not to use refined oil,replace it with coconut oil or in my opinion, cook oil free. Do yoga and pranayam especially kapalbhati, suryanamaskar, garud asana,paschimottan asana,bhujanga asana.
My daughter 13 years old has HBA1C 5. 8, Blood GLUCOSE FASTING - 98 mg/dL, Blood GLUCOSE Pp - 140 mg) dL (after taking 75 GM of glucose and after two hours sample). Only my grand mother had diabetics rest no history in my and my wife's family. What should we do. Her weight bus 44. 5 and height is 4 feet 9 inches. Pls help

Namaste Please do not worry. One can manage the blood glucose levels in the body by shifting to a majorly raw plant-based diet. And getting your daughter into a healthy lifestyle where she spends some time in sun daily, breathing in fresh air and getting in touch with mother earth. Start her day with a walk in the fresh air. followed by a session of yoga. Break the fast with seasonal fresh locally grown fruits as late as possible. Give her salads with lots of greens in them. Please stop dairy completely, no meat or eggs, no refined sugar, salt, oil or flour. No packaged or processed food. Let her sleep well at night. Relook at your salt intake (especially iodised, chemical salt). Salt entered our food systems, more for taste and offers no nutrition. In fact in terms of natural health, it is considered a foodless food. The manufacturing process and iodisation of salt has further complicated the various elements that enter our system along with salt. In today’s world, after sugar, this is a leading additive in every processed food item (as it works as a preservative & stabilizer) so much that even after reading the labels, it difficult to eliminate this. Salt is caustic to the sensitive inner tissues of the body & the cell structure hence water is retained within the body to neutralize its acidic effect. The body works furiously to eliminate the salt, but when is unable to do so deposits across body fluids. This actually artificially creates the signal of thirst too (Not sure if you getting that yet). Water retention thus can be construed as the presence of salt in the body which it is unable to flush out. Here is what you can do: What to eliminate: Processed packaged foods, outside meals, bottled sauces, pickles just about everything has a very high dose of salt – reduce them drastically (if not completely) Replace white salt at home with Sendha namak, and Himalayan pink salt. Reduce dairy, non-veg and grains intake – these heavy digesting foods hinder significantly with the process of elimination and make our body overwork.

Chia seeds can be sprinkled on smoothies or salads, you can even make chia pudding once a while. About one tablespoon of these seeds is good to consume everyday It is good form of antioxidant, loaded with protien, stimulates weightloss as it is boosts metabolism, improves disgestion and rich in vitamin E and omega 3. However, be careful that you chew these seeds.
