Namaste When theres lot of pitta in your body it means the liver is not functioning properly. The reason for any part of the body to over work or underwork is nothing but imbalance in the normal funtioning or metabolism. And how does this imbalance happen? it happens because of enervation or lowering of vitality in your body due to draining away of vitality by unhealthy lifestyle and wrong food habits. what should one do to restore balance and free up vitality to maintain our bodily functions normally? Lets start with things that we need to remove from our diet Foods to be removed 1 All packaged and processed outside food-like substances. 2 Refined flour and refined oil 3 All types of stimulants like tea and coffee. If you drink alcohol then that too must be stopped. 4 All overcooked, deep-fried oily food. 5 Milk and milk products, meat eggs etc Foods to be included 1 Fresh locally grown seasonal fruits - 50% of daily intake 2 Fresh seasonal vegetables and greens - 35% of daily intake 3 Grains - soaked or sprouted or steamed - 10 % of daily intake 4 soaked nuts and seeds - 5% of daily intake And understand this - it is not only the food that influences your quality of health but many other things too matter equally. 1 Learn Pranayam and yoga for relaxing your mind, improving your flexibility and activating your lymphatic system. 2 Get good sun exposure either in the early hours of the morning or a couple of hours before sunset. 3 Get in touch with Mother Earth. Do some gardening with your hands or at least walk barefoot on sand or mud. Sit in parks or lie on the ground or lawns and relax. 4 Keep an eye on your bowel movement. See to it that your bowels are always functioning normally. Eliminate larger quantities than what you eat. 5 Rest and relax well. Sleep in the earlier part of the night and sleep through the night. Wake up before or with the sun. 6 Be well hydrated. Consume a lot of juicy fruits veggies and greens to hydrate yourself well. 7 Get your body moving, do yoga or participate in any outdoor sport, walk or do some gardening. Moving your body will support the removal of toxins and free flow of vitality 8 Be happy always. Don’t let life’s negativities to bog you down. Always be positive. Follow these principles and as you go on eliminating toxins and discarding all damaged unhealthy tissues you will start seeing a great change in your overall health. Be happy be healthy always Swati Dhariwal Nature Cure Practitioner Stay happy and healthy always

Hello, as a family we go to the gym and are into weight training ourselves. As a female, I am not keen on bulking and my husband is more into getting his 6 pack. He has been into this since more than a year now. We did not really worry about proteins or any of those post and pre work out foods or drinks that certain gym trainers brainwash people into. For a few months, he was on Twice cooked meal and once fruit in the morning. The fruit is really full -600-700gms roughly. Drank a green juice before gym just for hydration and nothing else. Cooked is vegan whole food plant based and it was twice a day. Then 6-7 months was majorly on one grainless meal and one grains meal among those 2 cooked meals Then gym instructor was also influenced at my energy levels and his background on raw also was good. So he encouraged my husband to eat more raw for muscle building. So he switched to one raw and one cooked for lunch and dinner. He has now a 3 pack perhaps and he has shed a lot of weight and gained muscles over that. He lifts about a 100kg and all this is just raw plant power. No fancy proteins - not even pea proteins. We don’t worry so much about what he eats. He is just eating full on healthy raw foods. He also loves eating peanuts. So he snacks on them. That’s it. I am sure in a year more he will have a solid 6 pack to show off and this is not unnaturally developed by some protein that damages the kidney. It’s naturally developing and the body will learn to grow with the food. Hope this helps. The others have mentioned some healthy dos and donts which must be followed anyways, but focusing on high raw is a must. Nuts or seeds and other fats are not necessary for developing although it does not come in the way. Only raw helps - greens / veggies / fruits. It’s extremely imp that he gets a good rest in terms of sleep. Only sleep and raw will address his needs. Check this journey. My fitness journey fuelled by whole plant-based raw foods

Hello User, Hairfall is one of the most common problems that people face nowadays. Bad diet, unhealthy lifestyle, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise has contributed a lot to this. Early balding and premature greying of hair isn’t something which is uncommon in the younger population now. I will try to guide you with diet, lifestyle etc in a healthy and natural way. 1. Dietary advice: Eat a lot of protein-rich food. Moong dal, Chana dal and other pulses are rich in protein. Proteins are the building blocks of the body and even hair is made up of Keratin Protein. Protein-rich diet will supply the basic material of hair building to your body. Apply onion oil on the scalp and massage it. Onion oil has been proven to replenish scalp and promote the circulation to the scalp. Apply Arnica or Jaborandi essential oil to your scalp. Both have been proven to increase the density and strength of your hair. Eat a healthy plant and fruit-based diet. Green leafy vegetables will help you with iron and other vital nutrients. Eat a lot of seeds and nuts. They have essential oils and also are an excellent source of protein to the body. Coconut oil and castor oil massage to the scalp will increase the circulation of blood to the scalp and help you with your problem. 2. Physical advice: Yoga daily for a minimum of 40 minutes to an hour will help you in all your troubles including the hair fall. Shirshasan will help you with increased blood flow to your scalp and promote hair growth. Walking daily in the morning sun for not less than 40 minutes will also be beneficial. Exercise daily with moderate intensity to improve the blood flow in the body and to eliminate the unwanted toxins from the body. 3. Mental advice: All the troubles are ultimately linked to stress. More the stress, more the hairfall and vice versa. Meditate daily twice a day for 15-20 minutes with a calm soothing music. This will help you relax and unwind. Develop a hobby like gardening or painting etc which will take your mind off the excessive stress and work load. 4. Routine and lifestyle advice: Avoid harsh soaps and shampoos. Avoid chemical based hair dye etc Avoid smoking, drinking. A plants & fruit based healthy living is expected. I hope I have covered all the points. Do let me know in the comments if you have any doubts. Thank you. Dr. Sukan M. Rajpurohit M.P.H (Gandhinagar)

Is Gilol juice can be given to a 5 year old child as a precaution against viral fever?
Smitha Hemadri

I think you mean Amruthballi ( creeper ) juice. Let me clarify the reasons why body gives a fever. Fever is body’s natural response to fight the invaders or scavengers who have come to eat the toxins that have accumulated in his body. The reasons why you had eye infection, the reasons why he has a fever/ you are trying to avoid a fever and the reasons why your wife has a fever are accumulation of toxins . All same reasons but different symptoms. All these are acute stages of body handling the toxins and flushing it. If this is suppressed at this stage, it will continue to accumulate and cause other issues where you might think you need to medicate daily. Anything from a mild body issue to cancer are all lifestyle issues. If he has toxins, the virus will come to eat that too. Have you thought why some people in the same family get a dengue for example and why some don’t get ? Virus and bacteria are natural scavengers. They come where food or organic matter is rotting. It can be on the food kept on the table or the undigested food in the body. All the food that we eat that is not supposed to be human food rot because body is not designed to process it or digest it till the exit. It just stores because life must go on. This stored junk attracts the scavengers and they release their poop and pee also called neurotoxins and that causes inflammation which in English medicine they have multiple names depending on the part of the body that’s inflammed. We can go on and on about this topic, but I encourage you to read the valuable and informative articles in the body wisdom section on wellcure for answers as it has everything you will need to know to keep yourself and your family healthy. To start with remove all animal products like diary meat eggs fish. Sugar maida wheat and embrace a whole food plant based lifestyle with lots of fruits veggies and greens. Whole food means eating foods the way god created it. Unpolished, unrefined, unprocessed, in parts. Oils are part of the seed.. eat the seed instead. To address the fever if he has, you must let the body donits job. Fever is a good sign tat he has enough vitality or life force in his body to fight and keep his body safe. If you medicate him, you are going against the body’s natural response of keeping its fort protected. Keep him on any pulpless fruit juices like lime moodambi orange grapes water melon carrot juice tender coconut and things like this . Hydrating the body will also flush the toxins out and keep natural thermostat in order. This will ensure tat body will not get into a situation to rise beyond its need and cause adverse consequences ( as understood by the medical community) during a high fever. Fever is not to be worried about. Let it happen and handle it naturally. Don’t look at herbs to reduce the temperature. It’s only going to work against the body even if it’s a herb. Herbs used in wrong situations is wrong too.
I am 26 years old. Three months ago, I had fever I took general medicine the fever got normal and suddenly I felt headache and back pain. With headache I feel tightness in the whole body and head. I consulted with five doctors and took different medicines for past one and half month but my health issue was the same I took chest x ray, spinal x ray, blood test were normal. Any solution for this?

Hello Sona, It is all the result of post-viral fatigue which does not help us at all, in fact, it makes our body more lethargic which needs to be treated. Going the natural way will only help in treating the episode but will also help in preventing it. As the stressors in today's lifestyle have increased be it for a person working at home or corporate lifestyle everything needs to be tackled in a healthy manner. A lifestyle filled with green vegetables, fruits, exercise, and meditation. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it which energizes your whole day. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. In the afternoon make it a habit of having fruit salad an hour before your meal and vegetable salad an hour before your dinner, this will help in improving energy. Your dinner should be light and there should be at least a two-hour gap between your dinner and your meal. Having potassium-rich food like coconut water, bananas, walnuts, etc will help in giving you the required energy. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshen us for the whole day. Early morning walk is recommendable. Sitting in Vajrasana after meals will help in treating any problem related to digestion. Suryanamaskar will help in treating the mental issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommended. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Work out routine like Zumba, aerobics which are normally dance-based will also help in enhancing your energy and make you feel refreshed for the day. Meditation: Stop using the gadget on hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils and then with the smell itself you will start feeling calm. Take 10 long deep breaths, and allowing your body to relax, any thought which comes let it go do not resist. Saying the affirmation, I am healthy and happy" release each breath. This will help a lot in calming you. Communicating with like-minded people always help, going out in groups make us not only share or idea and thoughts but motivate and learn something new. Sleep: Sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you

Sleep- Having a good sleep is equally important as having a good diet. Sleep timings and duration both are important. Yoga- Performing yoga also helps to clean the blood and to get healthy skin. My father in law, 82, has UTI and diabetes. He's under treatment but his pus cells are still increasing. What can be done? Please suggest.
Nikita Mishra
10:41 AM | 14-10-2020
Hello Neelima, The reason for any kind of infection is the accumulation of toxins in our body. Accumulation of toxins results in the reaction of the body's immune system which leads to infection. Pus cells indicate a severe infection in the body. Urinary tract infection may result due to following reasons - Urinating in unhygienic conditions. Unclean undergarments. Not maintaining the cleanliness of genitals. Not drinking enough water. Controlling the urge to urinate. Diabetes is a lifestyle disorder and can be corrected in a natural way. In diabetes, our body is not able to break the sugar or use the sugar in a proper way. But, by making some changes in lifestyle and habits, it can be cured naturally. Some tips Take some neem leaves and boil them in water. Also, rotate fitkari (alum) in this water. Then, use it to wash the private area after urinating every time. Maintain personal hygiene. Whenever you have an urge to urinate, never try to control it. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Eat sprouts, nuts, beans in your diet. Have salads, fresh fruits, and green leafy vegetables. Drink coconut water. Drink plenty of water during the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body. Avoid sugars and sugary foods. Avoid processed, packaged, preserved, oily and spicy foods. Avoid dairy products and animal foods as they are not good for the digestive system and may result in increased inflammation. Yoga and pranayam Yoga and pranayam are very effective for any kind of health issue. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do paschimottan asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Practice pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam. Sleep Sleeping is equally important as our diet for a healthy body and mind. So, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Avoid using electronic gadgets at least 1 hour before sleeping to improve the quality of sleep. Thank you
I am suffering from vertigo and cervical spondolysis. I have taken vertin for 3 months and still have lot of dizziness. Pls suggest a natural remedy for dizziness.
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
08:47 AM | 12-10-2020
Hello Naina, Vertigo has several causes written in medical terms like infection, dehydration and low vitamin D but it all points towards one thing that is our immunity getting vulnerable and easily being suspect to the disease. Your vertigo and dizziness are both co-related with each other. Cervical spondylosis also due to compression of the nerve can produce vertigo. Because of low sun exposure, our diet cells do not get the needed energy as the sun helps in increasing the function of cells by activating it. Hence sun-basking is where we have to start with treating your vertigo. As it is a chronic problem now when treated with a healthy diet, exercise, meditation, and modulating your sleep cycle we can treat the issue and stress coming with this problem. The following tips will be helpful: Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day and also, it is an easier way to absorb all the nutrients. Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night. One inch of ginger crushed, with one teaspoon of lemon in one cup of water boil it for 5-10 minutes will help in treating vertigo. Taking vitamin C rich food items like mosumbi, lemon, berries, oranges will help in treating immunity keeping us away from infections helping to treat vertigo. Almond is a rich source of vitamin especially A which will help in strengthening the auditory pathway and treat vertigo. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshens us for the whole day, it stimulates our system and strengthens our immunity. An early morning walk is recommended. Suryanamaskar will help in treating the health issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommended. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Shan Mukhi mudra, Paschimottasana, Halasana, Shavasana these asanas if practised daily will help in treating vertigo, practice these asanas after the session of suryanamaskar. Meditation: Stop using the gadget an hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils and then with the smell itself you will start feeling calm. Rosemary and lavender oil will be helpful. Lemon essential oil is very helpful in the treatment of vertigo. Take 10 long deep breaths, and allow your body to relax, any thought which comes, let it go do not resist. Say the affirmation, "I am healthy and happy" with each breath. This will help in curbing all your issues even in the long run. Sleep: The sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing. Make sure your room is gadget-free an hour before sleep. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you.

Hello User, The reason you might be getting this type of condition is because of getting low vitamin C and getting exposed to excessive chemical-based products, which cause heat in the body, and skin becomes dry. The tamasic diet of state and adulterated food also causes this state. Here are some remedies which can help in healing skin as soon as possible. Eat: Start with food items like jaggery, dates, sprouts, green leafy vegetables, which help treating pigmentation. Starting your day with two-three glasses of warm water, which helps in flushing out all the toxins. This is the first step to take for healing your skin. Vitamin C addition helps in easy-iron absorption. For example, adding lemon in dals vitamin C helps in increasing collagen and results in healthy skin. Have a glass of chia seeds(one tablespoon) soaked in one glass of water with one tablespoon of lemon to get healthy skin. Include one fruit like an apple, papaya, a banana a day to have a healthy GUT; excretion will help in releasing the waste from the body. There are face packs which you can try: 1. Apply tea tree oil on the dry area, which will help in treating the same. Apply twice a day. 2. Massage your skin every night with coconut oil and naturally extracted aloe vera gel, one teaspoon each. Thank you

Hello Deergha, Oily skin is a problem more common than you think. it is experienced by all the age groups and is mainly due to the toxins in the body that need elimination, a detox is recommended. The hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands tends to cause excessively oily skin. Oily skin is also a treat for the bacterial colonies which in turn is responsible for outbursts of acne and other skin infections. 1. Dietary advice: Eat green leafy vegetables, salads, and fruits as much as you can. They help in detoxification of the body. This will relieve all your skin problems in general and not just oily skin. Drink plenty of water every day. Water has been known as a natural cleaner and it cleanses all the toxins and flushes them out of the body. Eat an oil-free, fat-free diet. Excessive oils in the diet will contribute to your problems. Use neem fack pack or neem toners. They will not only help you with oily skin but also clear bacterial growth preventing the burst of acne and other infections. 2. Physical advice: Wash your face at least two to three times a day with nothing but plain water. It will cleanse your face and remove excess oil and dirt. Avoid touching your face unnecessarily and with dirty hands or wiping your face with a common towel. Have a good skincare routine. A serum at night, a sunblock in the noon when out traveling and a soap mild on the skin will help you considerably. Exercising daily for 30 minutes to an hour with moderate intensity should get your skin in action and clear out excess dirt and oil by sweat. 3. Mental advice: Stress has been known to cause various skin issues including oily skin. Try meditation for 30 minutes daily to cut out stress-related issues. Drink green teas and replace them with your regular tea and coffee. If you think your oily skin is related to the menstrual cycle then do not worry as it will subside with the cycle. 4. Routine and lifestyle advice: Avoid caffeine or don’t overindulge yourself. Avoid smoking or drinking as they have been known to cause bad health let alone oily skin. An active lifestyle is advisable. I hope I have covered all the points. Do let me know in the comments if you have any doubts. Thank you. Dr. Sukan M. Rajpurohit M.P.H (Gandhinagar)
