Nikita Mishra

Hello Sudhakar, Excessive accumulation of earwax can be the reason for tinnitus and sometimes it may lead to reduced hearing power. Eustachian tube dysfunction can also be the reason for tinnitus. It may occur when the mucosal lining of the tube is swollen, or does not open or close properly. If the tube is dysfunctional, symptoms such as muffled hearing, pain, tinnitus, reduced hearing, a feeling of fullness in the ear or problem with balance may also occur. Here are some tips- Local application Put 2 to 3 drops of warm mustard oil in both ears at night and put cotton in both the ears. Do this for a week. Practice focusing on and locating sounds to sharpen your hearing Hearing exercise can help you, focusing on where sounds are coming from and who is making the sound or what kind of sound is coming. Place a radio or speaker in one area of the room, and play music or sound at a comfortable volume. Place another sound source in a different area of the room, and turn up the volume until the combination of the two sounds creates a noisy environment. Ask someone to move around the room and say some sentences and try to repeat the sentences. Also, try to locate where the sound is coming. Meditation Meditate in a park or other public area where you will be surrounded by various sounds. As you meditate, take deep breaths to help blood circulation and improve oxygen circulation. Focus in and out on each sound around you and try to locate from where each sound is coming from. Exercise Daily exercising is very important for keeping your mind and body fit. Exercising every day by going out for a walk or job, doing yoga or even just gardening or doing housework is great for getting your blood pumping and circulation going strong. Yoga Yoga poses that help with circulation includes the tree, lotus, cobra and triangle pose. Diet Have only plant-based natural foods in your diet. Include salads, beans, whole grains, nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Avoid processed, packaged, preserved and oily foods. Thank you

Hello User, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder which is common in women of reproductive age. Women suffering from PCOS may have prolonged menstrual periods or infrequent periods. The exact cause of PCOS is not known. However, Obese women and women having a family history of PCOS are more prone to this disorder. If it is left untreated, some cysts can decrease fertility. This is common with endometriomas and polycystic ovary syndrome. To improve fertility, treatment of the cyst is needed. Here are some tips to follow for management. Diet to follow- Eating processed and preserved foods may contribute to inflammation and insulin resistance. So, avoid processed, preserved and packaged foods. Add fruits, legumes and vegetables in your diet. Eat nuts, sprouts and soaked raisins in the morning. Add iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach to your diet. Have magnesium-rich foods like almonds, cashews and bananas. Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has positive effects on insulin resistance. Avoid caffeine. Avoid carbonated drinks. Say no to alcohol, tobacco. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Exercise Doing yoga is very beneficial for PCOS. Perform bhujanga asana, vriksha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom pranayam. Take sunrays regularly in the morning for at least 20min. Sleep Sleeping pattern is very essential for a healthy hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you

Hello Adit, Our mental health is equally important just as our physical health. Negative thoughts, unwanted thoughts, anxiety are all the indications about your bad mental health. Here are a few tips that will surely help you: Meditation Meditation is the ultimate key to achieving good mental health. Just like our physical health, our mental health is also equally important and meditation is the best to achieve the same. Give 20 to 25 minutes from your busy day for meditation. Practice it in sukhasana or padma asana and concentrate on your breathing. Daily meditating will surely lead to a healthy and happy mind. Diet Diet also has an impact on our mental health as our metabolism depends on the foods that we have which in turn affects the hormonal secretions. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to boost the metabolism at the start of the day. Have soaked raisins and other dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients. Eat sprouts, nuts, beans and salads. Include Vitamin C in your diet like blueberries, amla, orange or lemon as they have antioxidant properties. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body and to be hydrated. Avoid dairy products and animal products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence it results in the accumulation of toxins in the body. Avoid processed, packaged and preserved foods as they have bad effects on our digestive system. Yoga Daily yoga is very effective for achieving a good balance between the mind, body and soul. Practice suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, paschimottan asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly for 15-20min, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Take sunrays early in the morning. Sleep The quality and pattern of the sleep also determine the state of our mental health as it affects the circadian rhythm and in turn the hormonal balance. Sometimes, lack of proper also leads to mental illness. So, take proper sleep of at least 8 to 10 hours daily. Avoid electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, computers, tv, etc at least 1hour before sleeping to improve the quality of sleep. Thank you

Hello User, Health of our hair is the reflection of our body's internal health. Improper lifestyle, eating wrong foods, lack of sleep, increased stress levels are the reasons which lead to toxic accumulation and result in issues like split ends, hairfall, etc. External factors like exposure to dust, chemicals and pollution are also the reason for hairfall and damaged hairs. Foods to eat- Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water early in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to eliminate the toxins out of the body. Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping. Eat soaked dry fruits and sprouts in the breakfast to get easily absorbable nutrients. Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables. Include salads, nuts, and beans in your diet. Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc. Use cold-pressed oil to cook instead of refined oils. Local application Mix amla powder with warm water. Keep it for around 2 hours. Then, apply it on your hair and leave it for half an hour and then wash your hair. Don't use any chemical-based products on your hair. Apply fresh aloe vera jel on your hairs. Protect your hair from dust, smoke, etc. Sleep A correct sleeping pattern is important for the circadian rhythm. It also helps to reduce stress. Hence, taking a proper quality of sleep is very important. Take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Avoid using electronic gadgets atleast 1hour before sleeping. Read books before sleeping to improve the quality of sleep Thank you
