(Nature Cure Educator

Hello Kunji, Acidity is a common digestion related problem that is faced by many people nowadays because of the sedentary lifestyle and wrong choices of food. Intake of a high fatty diet, oily, and spicy foods results in improper digestion which ultimately leads to digestive issues like acidity, burping, etc. Along with a correct diet, the adoption of a correct lifestyle is equally important. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping. Eat sprouts in your breakfast as they are light in nature and are rich in nutrients also. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables. Don't use refined oils for cooking. Instead, use cold-pressed oil for cooking. Have Vitamin C rich diet like include lemon, oranges, amla, blueberries, etc in your diet. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Exercise Physical activities are also essential for good digestion as it improves the blood circulation in the body and also the metabolism of the body. Start the day with a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. Do plank for 5min. Perform yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, paschimottan asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly for 15-20min, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam. Sleep Good quality of sleep is also needed for good metabolism. Sometimes lack of sleep or bad quality sleep also leads to digestive issues like acidity, anorexia, etc. So, proper sleep is required. Take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Avoid using electronic gadgets like mobiles, tv, computers, laptops, etc at least 1hour before sleeping for an improved quality of sleep. Thank you

Hello Saba, As far as the cooking oil is considered, it is best to use the cold pressed oil for cooking. All your health issues are inter-related. Hence, it is necessary to treat the root cause for achieving overall good health. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, both the problems can be cured naturally. Foods to eat Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This drink will boost the metabolism in the morning and also will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Have flax seeds. Drink green tea twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and the other before sleeping in the night. Cook oil-free or use cold-pressed oil. Replace white rice with brown rice. Eat the only plant-based natural raw foods. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Choose seasonal fruits and vegetables to eat. Eat sprouts, nuts, salads, beans to fulfil the nutritional requirements of the body. Foods to avoid- Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc. Avoid animal foods. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid processed foods, packaged foods, oily foods, and spicy foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Exercise Exercising is very important to improve the metabolism of the body which becomes very slow in thyroid patients. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, chakra asana, paschimottan asana daily. Do kapalbhati pranayam daily. Practice ujjayi Pranayam and bhramri pranayam. They are very effective for thyroid. Hello Meghana, As you said that you are eating only once and that is at dinner, I don't support this. In the start of the day, it is essential to have breakfast and breakfast should be heavy in nutrition. You can have a light dinner. But skipping breakfast or lunch may lead to health issues like acidity, flatulence, lack of energy, etc. Here are some tips to follow. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Hello User, Our immunity becomes weak because of external factors like stress, a high-fat diet and a sedentary lifestyle this tends to make our blood circulation and oxygen supply to all the parts of body poor. This allows the fungal infection to enter our body and to this, our body goes into the mode of defence mechanism and starts the inflammatory reaction. Pain, swelling, itching all the signs you might be facing. Taking a holistic measure will definitely help you in treating infections. Our private parts are mostly covered and there are high chances the sweat gets accumulated, in there so practising hygiene is very much essentially keeping the area dry. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach. Have one inch of ginger with one teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of turmeric in one cup of water bring it to boil for 5-10 minutes. This will help in treating any kind of inflammation. Take one teaspoon of coconut oil, add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil which helps in reduction of fungus. Take one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and put half a turmeric, by mixing this you apply on the affected area. This will be helpful in treating fungal infection by healing the skin faster. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body, practising it early morning in an area which has good sunlight will help. Suryanamaskar daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day. Hello, Itching in the groin area is mainly due to some infection like fungal infection. Fungal infection can occur anywhere in the body and it is common throughout much of the natural world. Fungal infection on the body occurs when an infecting fungus takes over an area of the body and is too much to fight for the immune system. Whenever a fungal infection occurs on the skin, it results in changes in the skin including red and possibly cracking or peeling skin, itching, etc. What can be done? Make a paste of garlic and mix it with coconut oil. Apply it on the area of infection. Cover it with gauze and leave for 2 hours. After 2 hours, rinse it with water. If there is any sensitivity to the skin like redness then wash the paste immediately. Take fresh aloe vera gel and apply it on the affected area. Aloe vera and antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Apply coconut oil on the affected part. Any microbial infection mainly results due to unhygienic conditions. So, keep the body clean. Use soap with warm water to wash the infected area of the skin. Use turmeric Turmeric is a popular spice and it is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Take turmeric in the diet in the form of tea. You can also add turmeric to your meals to reap the benefits. For external applications, mix turmeric with water or coconut oil and apply it on the affected part. Leave it to dry and then rinse it off. Some other tips Never share your clothes, towel and utensils with anyone. Take a shower immediately after sports or any exercises. Keep toenails and fingernails clipped and clean. Diet Always eat natural plant-based foods in your diet. Avoid processed, packaged, oily and spicy foods as this may increase the skin problem. Have turmeric tea and add turmeric in meals. Drink coconut water. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Thank you

Hello Fatima, As you are fasting your body is going under a healing state, it is time to integrate all your attention towards your conscious body and all it to heal. During this type of episode, you can make sure to put a cold ice pack as it will help in dilating the blood vessels in the area and allow your blood circulation to increase which in turn will heal its own self. Some Fast tips: 1. As we do not drink water during fasting we should make sure to have plenty of it before and after sunrise and sunset. 2. Never skip your pre-dawn meal as it gives glucose to your body for the whole day. 3. Avoid having high indulgence food with high fat and sugars during iftaari keep it light so that nutrients are absorbed well. You can utilise Vitamin C rich diet for your gut problems with fruits sources like oranges and mosumbi. These tips will ensure that you have a healthy Ramadaan and you would be glowing till Eid. Hopefully, this suggestion will help you. Thank you.

Hello User, Everything has one answer which is the nutrients in the body that are not showing its effects due to malabsorption when the nutrients are compiled in a diet that is complex high in gluten and fat-full diet then it is difficult for nutrients to seep in the body. Protein intake being low is the cause for decreased hair growth, as our hair is made up of proteins and it is the same answer for accelerating weight gain. Eating a low-quality diet with complex carbs also does not allow protein in the food to get absorbed. If you improve your weight and start exercising your blood pressure will be in control. Hence we need a multidimensional solution, in order to treat hair growth problems, it should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep and exercise which amalgamate for good health. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Hello Inderpreet, Yes, of course, thyroid can be treated naturally just like any other disease. The thyroid is a lifestyle disorder. A large number of people in the population suffer from thyroid just because of the increasingly sedentary lifestyle and changed eating habits. Reasons for thyroid Lack of physical activity. Family history. Wrong eating habits. Improper sleeping pattern. Excessive stress. Hormonal imbalance. Foods to eat Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This drink will boost the metabolism in the morning and also will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Drink green juice twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and the other before sleeping in the night. Cook oil-free or use cold-pressed oil. Replace white rice with brown rice. Eat the only plant-based natural raw foods. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Choose seasonal fruits and vegetables to eat. Eat sprouts, nuts, salads, beans to fulfill the nutritional requirements of the body. Sleep Proper sleep is very important to maintain the circadian rhythm which affects the hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Thank you.
My mother is feeling pain in the chest and back during eating or drinking at one particular point in the middle. She is 55 yrs old. Please enlighten what is the issue and what can be done? Is it because of gastric issues?

Namastey! Thank you for sharing your query with us. We understand your concern and would like to mention that if there is an hormonal imbalance in the body it leads to PCOS. In this condition a cyst or an abnormal growth in the uterus develops . This happens when over a period of time, the body is unable to eliminate the toxins from the body and they accumulate and form cysts. If healthy changes are not made at this time, it manifests into another health issue, in your case, it is indigestion or bloating like symptoms which coulld be due to IBS. But please note that these problems can be resolved when the right diet and lifestyle choices are made. Foods to take - fruits & raw veggies, nimboo paani, coconut water, soaked nuts and seeds Foods to avoid - all animal products including dairy, removal of packed and processed foods Along with this, exposure to sunshine and proper rest and sleep are also of prime importance. Also wrapping a cold towel around your abdomen for 20 minutes is helpful. Once you work upon your health issues and reverse them naturally, you can also achieve a healthy weight. These dietary changes are sustainable and should be practiced lifelong.
