Hello User, The best advice for suffering from anxiety and panic attacks is to take a natural way to treat it. Going the natural way will only help in treating the episode but will also help in preventing it. As the stressors in today's lifestyle have increased be it for a student, a person working at home, or a corporate lifestyle everything needs to be tackled in a healthy manner. A lifestyle filled with green vegetables, fruits, exercise, and meditation is what is needed. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improving the state of metabolism by increasing it. The inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. The next thing is going for a head massage, daily at night massage the head with coconut oil and aloe vera gel, this will help in soothing the nerves and reduce the episode of anxiety. Increasing Vitamin B12 and minerals in the diet will help in treating mood disorders. Chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almonds are a good sources of vitamin B 12. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshen us for the whole day. Early morning walk is recommendable. Even Suryanamaskar will help in treating the mental issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Meditation: Stop using the gadget an hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils, and then with the smell itself, you will start feeling calm. The next thing is to take 10 long deep breaths, and allow your body to relax, any thought which comes let it go do not resist. Saying the affirmation, I am healthy and happy" release each breath. This will help a lot in calming you. Sleep: Sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you.

Please tell him to exercise daily. He should do light exercise, based on his comfort. Deep breathing is very good as it helps eliminate toxins through breath. Also sufficient amount of oxygen reach all the cells of the body & that promotes cellular health. If cells are healthy, they can do all body functions properly & then we are healthy.

Dr. Khushbu Suthar

Hello Devika, Seeds are a really important part of our diet as they help it helps in giving a good part of proteins and needed vitamins in our diet. Flax seeds are beneficial for our vital organs like the heart, brain liver, and kidneys. The best time to consume them is when you are an empty stomach for at least two hours. In the empty stomach, you can reap the benefit of these micronutrients needed in the body. Hence, take one spoon of flaxseeds two hours after any meal and get the most out of it. Even using flax seed powder in juices are beneficial. Thank you

Hello User, Mental health is equally important just like our physical health for a healthy body. Anxiety, tachycardia, headache, acidity all these problems of yours are inter-related. The reason for these problems is the accumulation of toxins in the body which is due to the consumption of high fatty foods, high-stress levels and the wrong lifestyle. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, you can achieve good mental and physical health. Diet to follow- Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Include Vitamin C in your diet like have blueberries, oranges, lemon, amla, etc. Eat soaked raisins, dry fruits, and sprouts to get them easily absorbable nutrients. Have a fibre-rich diet. Eat salads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Also, drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibres. This will help in the movement of stool and will add bulk to the stool, so that, it can be removed easily from the body. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Exercise Doing exercise or yoga daily will help to improve the blood circulation in the body and also to improve the metabolism of the body. Take a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam. Do suryanamaskar daily. Perform paschimottan asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Sleep Sleeping is important to maintain the circadian rhythm, it also maintains our metabolism and reduces stress levels. Therefore, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Read books before sleeping for a good quality sleep. Thank you

Oats are supposed to be healthy, are they acidic or alkaline and what impact it has on my body?
PSYsolution by Kalyan
11:19 AM | 21-01-2019
Oats are semi-concentrated foods and require substatial amount of VITALITY in its digestion/assimilation process. We need semi-concentrated food very less (approx. 10% of the total food consumption, consumable weight-wise). Oats and other semi-concentrated food needs application of heat/water to steam/boil to facilitate the consumption. We should not try to enhance the taste to lure the consumption. Please read the following note on pH scales. In brief, let us understand what is a pH scale: Science has introduced a logarithmic scale to specify the acidity or basicity/alkalinity of an aqueous solution. Acidity and Basicity/Alkalinity are two opposite properties of an aqueous solution. Like everything else, in Nature, aqueous solutions too try to achieve a homeostatic state or the state neutrality. The neutral state of a solution is pure Water. In pH scale the value of water as defined is 7. Below 7, all the solutions are acidic and above 7, are basic/alkaline. Acid and Alkaline always try to neutralize each other to become water. The pH value of blood is approx 7.4. That means it is almost neutral being slightly basic/alkaline. In diseased condition the pH value becomes more than 7, usually. With this understanding we confuse ourselves by concluding that we need to make our blood alkaline to have better state of wellness! It is another superstition! If we make our blood highly alkaline that is also a health hazard! Change in pH value or its Alkalinity or acidity in blood is an EFFECT of health. The CAUSE is somewhere else! Addressing the EFFECTSinstead of addressing the CAUSE, is a limited and shallow approach. We cannot carry a pH strip with us to measure the pH value of food that we choose to eat! Nature has sketched an excellent indicator to identify the right food. THE VOICE OF THE ORGANISM (V/O) is that indicator. The taste sensation is one of the major executions of V/O. Other important V/O in identifying the right food are smell, sight etc. The first condition is the food should be in its natural state without any modification; then we need to use our V/O to identify if it is beneficial for us. We should feel good about the food in terms of its smell, sight and taste. If it feels good, it is good for us. Simple! We can skip bothering about pH values. Thank you... Hello Devraj, Consumption of fatty diet and highly spiced food leads to indigestion which causes constipation this is found to be primary cause other causes can be stress, wrong posture, and sedentary lifestyle. Sometimes we think that we are eating healthy but it is the food combination which is very wrong and not able to suit us. Toxins are the primary cause of gastric trouble which ultimately leads to nutrition not getting absorbed causing disturbed sleep and also less iron content which makes our blood flow scanty. Our sedentary lifestyle also plays a role in this picture. What needs to be taken care of now is the fact that a major change in lifestyle and diet will be the cure of the problem. A healthy toxin release happens in a healthy way like excretion of urine and faeces. In digestive problems with the consumption of this kind of food, the problem is, from the oesophagus to rectum everything is disturbed. The toxins are in the body, call it to stomach ulcers or gastritis, they relate to the same cause. With a healthy change in routine, what makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, that we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing future relapses. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Including a fibre-rich food item that helps in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc. which have a good amount of fibre in them. Have one tomato with black pepper in the evening time an hour before dinner, tomato also helps in improving iron content. During evening time, take an inch of ginger and boil in two cups of water with half a teaspoon of turmeric honey, this will help in beating inflammation caused by indigestion. Exercise: Sitting in the position of Vajraasana will help in the treatment of indigestion. After your meals practice, this poses for better digestion and easy stools. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes helps in treating your body to its level best. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you Thank you.
How and why to adopt Jaggery instead of Sugar for Healthy lifestyle?
Prof Dr Srikrishan Sha...
01:08 PM | 09-09-2019
Jaggery (or gur) is made from unrefined sugar, and is obtained by boiling raw, concentrated sugar cane juice till it solidifies. Although jaggery is also made from the sap of coconut and date palm, the one made from sugar cane is the one that's used most widely. Not only is gur better than white sugar--which only adds empty, digestible, natural calories to your body--it also has a number of health benefits, including its ability to cleanse the body, aid in digestion and provide good amounts of minerals. Here are some health benefits that will make you want to adopt jaggery as your go-to sweetener for everyday purposes: Gur prevents constipation by aiding digestion. It activates the digestive enzymes in our body, thus helps in proper digestion of food. That's why many people prefer eating jaggery after a meal. Gur acts as a detox, as it helps cleanse the liver by flushing out nasty toxins from the body. Jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and minerals like zinc and selenium, which help prevent free-radicals (responsible for early ageing). It helps boost resistance against infections, hence building stronger immunity. Eating a piece of jaggery daily can help women combat PMS symptoms including mood swings, menstrual cramps and abdominal pain. Jaggery acts as a natural sweetener and provides energy over an extended period of time. Even factory-made honey has been deemed unhealthy because it gets ripped of its nutrients. That's when jaggery steps in! Gur is, however, suggested to consume jaggery in moderation, as it is slightly higher in calories, containing up-to 4 kcal/gram. People who are diabetic or are following a weight loss diet should monitor their consumption of jaggery, as it can lead to weight gain and fluctuations in blood-sugar levels. Molasses a bio-product of Jaggery is now being considered most effective tool for detoxing the body and creating carbon free body. It contains Natural Insulin which is wonderful remedy for liver and kidney cleansing.

Hi. Is it possible to reduce cholesterol with wet pack?
Anjali Rauthan
03:57 PM | 12-04-2024
Namaste Sandhya, Thank you for sharing your query with us. Cholesterol happens due to wrong lifestyle and eating habits. You can normalize the cholesterol levels naturally by correcting your eating habits and lifestyle. Standalone wet packs won't help in reducing cholesterol levels you need to focus on other aspects too: Simple ways to reduce cholesterol naturally: 1. Regular drinking of coriander (dhania) water also helps in lowering blood cholesterol as it is a good diuretic and stimulates the kidney. 2. Meditation/ Pranayama/ breathing exercises will help in reducing stress and eventually lead to reduced cholesterol 3. Add salad before 15-20mins of lunch and dinner. Add lemon juice + pinch of black pepper. If you need more help, you can come with us for the Healthy heart personal coaching program Our Natural Health Coach will comprehensively look into your daily routine and give you an action plan. I am experiencing over thinking on everything, all the time. So I cannot sleep properly, cannot concentrate on any work. I feel drowsy when excessive thoughts come. What is the solution? I had thyroid - TSH was 11, diagnosed 3 years back. Allopathy medicine caused me heart palpitation so I stopped medicine. Is this because of thyroid I am facing this issue? Dr. Khushbu Suthar
10:38 AM | 28-08-2020
Hello Amit, Overthinking can often lead us to sleep deprivation. Good sleep is a reaction of a healthy body, eating a light meal. When we eat something heavy it does not allow our body to relax as it makes our body tired by the metabolism process. Eating light is healthy for body and mind. External sources of stress are also the cause of not getting sound sleep. We have to work here in all the ways to heal our sleeping pattern. The main thing here is, it should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep and exercise which amalgamate for good health. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake for at least one month and refrain from something oil-based. One inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water with one tablespoon lemon, boil them for 5-10 minutes before hitting the bed, as this helps in soothing nerves and relax your mind. Eating mineral-rich food like flax seeds, chia seeds, walnut and almonds make our brain stronger and prevent neuro-degeneration which overthinking causes. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practising it early morning in an area which has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Do 15-minute stretches before hitting the bed, to allow your body to go under healthy rest. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. Take a head massage an hour before sleep, coconut oil preferable. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you. Thank you.
Hello, I have been eating healthy and working out for past 6-7 months. I started this as I was facing Menstrual irregularities. Now, after adapting healthy lifestyle my menstruation has become regular. But my period cycle length keeps getting longer every month initially it was 30, then 35, then 40 in the current month. I am not able to identify the cause. Please help. If anyone has any idea regarding this. I am 22 yrs old. Also, my skin has become very dull despite eating healthy.
Nikita Mishra
01:03 PM | 19-11-2020
Hello User, Anaemia can be the reason for the late periods. Eating correctly is important but along with that, it is also important that the food gets absorbed properly in the intestine to get the essential nutrients present in the food. Also, the hormonal imbalance leads to irregularities in the menstrual cycle. It affects the overall health and your skin is dull because the internal body is not healthy.
