Hi, Constipation is a condition of disturbance in bowel movements, difficulty in defecation. There are many factors that contribute to or cause constipation. The most common causes are Eating a diet too low in fibe Eating too few calories Not drinking enough fluids A low physical activity level Due to some medications Behavior changes: Consume a balanced healthy meals in regular interval. It is best to follow a regular pattern of bowel movement. Persons having normal bowel pattern usually defecate at approximately the same time every day. Since the bowels are most active after awakening and after meals, the most optimal time for a bowel movement is usually within the first two hours after waking and after breakfast. Don’t ignore the signal to defecate. Diet: Fiber increases stool bulk, which help stools move through the colon. The recommended amount of fiber is 20 to 35 grams daily. Fresh Fruits, green and green leafy vegetables and cereals are excellent source of fiber. Citrus fruits, prunes, fig and prune juice are especially helpful. Bloating and flatulence is a common problem with increased fiber so it is best to start slowly and increase the amount of fiber gradually. Drinking Lauki juice, beetroot carrot juice daily in the morning also helps to relive constipation. Adding ginger in your food also helps to improve your digestion and helps to relieve constipation. Insoluble fibers: Consume more insoluble fibers. Insoluble Fiber is not digested by the body and is excreted as waste. This type of fiber promotes bowel regularity and discourages the development of constipation and other complication like hemorrhoids. Insoluble fibers are present wheat bran, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and skins on vegetables and fruits. Drink plenty of liquids: Drink 3-5 liters of water daily, and consume more fruits juices. Fluid helps your body process fiber without any discomfort. Include exercise or physical activity in your daily routine. Physical activity is a natural way to relieve constipation. Get up early in the morning and drink lukewarm water then go for a brisk walk or gentle jogging help your body to get hydrated and help in relieving constipation. Avoid drinking water during meals. Avoid Tea, coffee and other carbonated, packed/canned drinks. Avoid spicy, oily fried food items. Avoid milk and milk products. Avoid polished rice, sugar and maida. Drinking cinnamon water 30 minutes before going to bed also helps to relives constipation. Consume overnight soaked figs/raisins daily. Include more raw vegetable salads and sprouts in your diet. Avoid non vegetarian food items. Practice regular Yogasana: Aanas like pawanamuktasana, naukasana, matsyasana, vajarasana, vakrasana, and ardha matsyendrasana. Practice regular pranayamas like nadishuddhi and bhramari . helps to reduce your stress which is alo cause for constipation. नमस्ते, मोटापा का मूल कारण हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ है। शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह। आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए। पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है। 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें। 3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। 4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। किसी टब में पानी डाल कर 20मिनट के लिए बैठें। 5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, ताज़ा नारियल की मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें। धन्यवाद। रूबी, Ruby प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली शिक्षिका (Nature Cure Educator)

Hy...yes you can eat but the method of preparation should be different. 1.Potatoes should be baked or should be heated on stove like corn. Than it can be eaten in moderate quantity. 2. And rice should be eaten in the form of ganji, the quantity of water should be double the quantity of rice and the rice which are used in preparation should not be polished rice.it should be avoided in night. Hypothyroid happens due to what we have been putting in our body, which is eating a tamasic diet (adulterated, rotten and unhealthy junk is considered as tamasic).In this case, when we load our body with this kind of food, our metabolism becomes sluggish, "hypo" thyroid happens. Here, our body starts pushing on more to reach an optimal level of functioning. Now as our boy already in a sluggish state, the immunity is weakened. Our metabolism is surely going to become slow leading to shortness in breath, vision problems, nutrients not reaching the body causes hair thinning and low libido reflects everything accordingly. The main thing to treat this multidimensional illness should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep, and exercise which amalgamate for good health and reach your optimal solution. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself.
