Hello, Reasons for body odour. There could be many reasons for body odour. Hormonal changes Not maintaining proper hygiene. Puberty Stress Medications you take. Your environment. Foods that you eat. Infection. Things to follow. Maintain proper hygiene by taking at least 2 showers in a day. Wash your clothes regularly. Shave or remove your armpit hairs. Wear cotton clothes. What should be done in case of infection? If there is any infection then, with sweating and odor some other symptoms will also develop like itching, inflammation, rashes, redness. To treat this, take a bunch of neem leaves and add it to water and then boil the water. Allow it to cool. Use this water to take a bath. This will kill the bacteria and will help to deal with the infection. Diet: Some foods also result in bad odours. So, avoid fish,meat, spicy foods. Take turmeric as it has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Also, take fenugreek seeds. Local application Apply lemon juice mixed with water to your armpits and sweat prone areas. Take some water and boil it, then add green tea leaves to it. Now, allow it to cool and then dip cotton in it and apply this to the sweat prone areas like armpits, genitals. I have been having intermittent ear pain in and around my ears for more than a month. I consulted an ENT doctor, who asked me to get a CT SCAN done. The report was normal. The oesophagus is the tube, which is a part of GUT, that carries food from the throat to the stomach. Achalasia cardia is a severe health condition that affects your oesophagus. The lower oesophagal sphincter (LES) is a muscular ring that closes off the oesophagus from the stomach. The sphincter gets into action whenever there is a food movement from mouth to the stomach. If you have achalasia, your LES fails to open up during swallowing, which it’s supposed to do. This leads to a backup of food within your oesophagus. This condition can be related to damaged nerves in your oesophagus. It can also be due to damage of the LES. Achalasia usually occurs later part or elderly age group, but sometimes it can also occur in children. Individuals who are middle-aged and older are at higher risk for the condition. Achalasia is also more common in people with autoimmune disorders. People with achalasia have a problem in swallowing or feel like food is stuck into their oesophagus. This condition is also called dysphagia. These symptoms can cause coughing and raise the risk of aspiration or inhaling or choking on food. Other symptoms might include pain or discomfort, weight loss, heartburn or even intense pain or discomfort after eating. Some natural ways to manage it, Don't Overeat - Avoid overeating. In Naturopathic philosophy we say that eat half stomach with solid food, quarter with water/liquids and quarter should be kept empty. Also, make a point to avoid heavy meals and too many oily foods or spices ( north Indian curries especially) Lose weight - Sometimes fat accumulation on the abdomen could push the intestines or abdominal structures downwards and could possibly cause a condition called hiatus hernia. Hence losing weight must be a very important measure to undertaken if you are overweight. Consume low carbs - Consumption of large quantity of carbs could result in poor digestion in the GUT. It always wise to consume in less quantity. Avoid coffee/alcohol/carbonated drinks. Avoiding these could help too Eat less of chocolates and drink less citrus fruit juices Avoid eating raw onions if at all you have a habit Give at least three hours of time gap between your dinner and sleep. Keep your head in an elevated position when you sleep.

The global prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus among adults over 18 years of age has risen from 4.7% in 1980 to 8.5% in 2014 as per WHO reports. This health condition is very much leaned towards the South East Asia Region due to wrong or faulty lifestyles. Diabetes prevalence has been rising more rapidly in middle- and low-income countries. Diabetes is a major cause of blindness, kidney failure, heart attacks, stroke, and lower limb amputation if not taken care of at the early stages. There are various types of diabetes but the most common are type 1, type 2 and gestational (during pregnancy). Type 1 diabetes: here the body’s immune system is not functioning properly and attacks the beta cells of the pancreas that produce insulin. This type of diabetes is often seen in families. Type 2 diabetes: cells that respond to insulin become resistant (desensitized) to it. Insulin is what safely transports the sugar into our cells, so this means that diabetics who are untreated will have elevated blood sugar. Here the inflammation could be found in almost all systems, namely nerves, kidneys, and the cardiovascular system will be the first organ systems to get damaged, but in some cases, it could involve another system too and could be dangerous as well. Here damage to insulin-producing cells due to Pancreatitis is a common feature. Gestational: whereby a woman becomes diabetic during her pregnancy this is more common than you’d think because women often crave sugar when they’re pregnant. The main objective in naturopathic treatment of diabetes is to reduce high levels of glucose in the blood and ensure the overall well-being of the patient utilizing natural therapies such as diet, exercise, nutritional supplements and herbs. Diabetes, as you know, is a metabolic disorder that should be treated with a strict diet regime along with a considerate amount of physical activity or exercises. Following a healthy plant-based diet can effectively help control your blood sugar. • Always go for a whole plant-based diet which includes ample fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts. High fibrous fruits and vegetables such as peas, beans, broccoli, spinach, and dark leafy vegetables should be included in one's diet. Also, pulses with husk and sprouts are a healthy option and should be part of the diet. Brans, cereals, oats meals, millets, seeds should be an essential part of your diet. • Omega 3 fatty acids should be consumed as they have a beneficial effect on blood sugar and many other cardiovascular diseases. I have bad breath and coated tongue from 3 years. I daily clean my tongue but it get coated again. I had teeth scaling and used chlorhexidine mouthwash. I did salt water rinse, coconut oil pulling, neem but nothing helped me. There is no nasal problem. What to do?
