Can someone guide me on coconut milk? When I use it in curries, it often separates. And for how long can it b kept? In fridge also it starts becoming sour after 24 hours or so.

Reason is simple that you are adding salt when flame is on. In any dish you put coconut milk please add coconut milk at the end. Let it warm for 2-3 minutes only and not cook for long as it changes coconut milk properties. then swith off the gas and then add salt. Other spices are ok to be added before.

Since your father is 57 years and degenerative changes start by mid forties. In some cases it might earlier too and also using air conditioners at home or office would also have an impact on bone health. To find out the exact cause you might go for bloodanalysis ( serum calcium and vit D ). Ways to manage at home level are 1) Try to eat calcium rich foods ( already been discussed in one of the earlier posts ) 2) Exposure to sun light atleast 30-40 mins in the early morning hours. 3) Try to do some basic exercises to loosen the joints. Loosening exercises or Shukshma Vyama of Yoga under a trained therapist could help a lot 4) Naturopathic treatments like partial massage to painful areas with infra red application and knee packs or local mustard poutice ( indirect ) application after oil application could be immediate methods to reduce pain and with a word of caution that these treatments should be taken under the supervision of registered naturopaths or naturopathy hospitals. 5) Acupuncture treatments given by registered naturopaths or qualified acupuncturist could give immediate pain relief 6) Physiotherapy ( Exercise therapy and Electrotherapy ) could really compliment the above treatments too.

All of these and many more unknown issues that she has that is unnamed and doctors have not pinned it yet is all due to a single issue called bad lifestyle. She has collected a lot of toxins and her organs are failing to work properly. Our body is like a assembly line and if smaller interim parts don’t work well, the final product - general well-being in life also will be questionable. The only way to reverse is to reverse all the mistakes made in the past - possibly underuse and over-consumption of diary sugar eggs meat fish fried foods , using oil in cooking , using wheat maida ,eating outside foods , hoarding negative emotions against people around, absolutely leading a sedentary lifestyle, not connecting with nature such as exposing to sunlight, touching mud or soil , walking on the lawn or grass , lack of sleep, exposure to cell phones and Tv and things like that. Start removing all forms of the above foods and feed her as much fruits and veg juices as possible to see any form of improvement. Her body will start releasing toxins from all orifices. Be prepared to manage that with absolutely less load on digestion. Sleep and rest well. If you need a personal consultation reach wellcure and they can help

Hello there, Mouth ulcers are very problematic but it can be cured through good diet and topical application. An easy way to treat is coconut oil (Virgin, cold-pressed), Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory properties and is analgesic(reduces pain). Thus reduce pain and swelling. Just dab a few drops of oil on the ulcer and leave. Apply it 3-4 times in a day. Good luck :)

Hi, Change you diet and life style; Eat at least 2 hours before going to bed. Drinking warm water or herbal teas throughout the day is beneficial. Heavy foods including dairy products, fried foods, cold foods, rice, beans and legumes should be avoided. The use of spices, pickles and chilies in cooking should also be minimized Honey, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Yoga and breathing exercises (Pranayama) can be helpful. Take 200 ml carrot juice, or a combination of carrot juice with beet and cucumber juices. In the case of mixed juices, 50 ml each of beet and cucumber juices should be mixed with 100 ml of carrot juice to prepare 200 ml of mixed juice. Drink for relief from rhinitis.
Hello friends I am facing a lot of negative vibes. How to over come them?
Dr Sangeeth Somanadhap...
05:19 PM | 24-07-2019
Here are some of the additional tips to overcome negative vibes, Sit in a quiet place and listen to mind soothing music Read books of your choice. If you have flair towards art, painting or any other hobbies like photography, travel etc could be a great choice as well. Keep your living area well ventillated and let the sun come in if you have a choice for that. Have good sleep and keep yourself relaxed. Keeping your living area clean and tidy also works wonders. Keep friends for socialising and this could help a lot. Light some scented candles and breathe deeply and meditate if possible. Gardening, cooking, pets, etc are stress buster activities which could also play a vital role in removal of negative vibes. If these doesnt work, then I would advice to seek some psychologist or psychiatrist which could help as well in advanced cases.
I have my mom who is 74 years old, 112 kgs. She xant move for her weight nd bad knees. She s diabetic and on insulin. Can u help her to lose weight?
Asha Shivaram

You haven't written much about her food habits. In any case, all conditions are related and they all arise from the same issue. i.e accumulation of toxins in the body due to many years on the wrong lifestyle. Rest assured, once she syncs her lifestyle with nature's laws, she will see great improvement. Whatever be our age, nature has given us all to be in perfect condition. It just needs some discipline and patience. I would suggest these things in the beginning - Quit all animal products like dairy (yoghurt, milk, ghee, chaas, butter etc), non veg, eggs and fish. Contrary to popular opinion, these are complex foods and cause inflammation in the body. Her bad knees are one sign of it. You can find many dairy replacement recipes (like peanut curd, nut milks etc) in the recipe section of this website and also online. Keep trying till you find the recipes you like. Implement the reduction gradually. - Keep off all refined products like sugar, salt (at least switch to sea salt, pink or black salt), maida, white rice etc - Increase raw component in food - i.e switch to only seasonal fruits till afternoon, Add a salad with lunch and dinner. Grains should not be more than 30% of your plate. I would also advise to keep off wheat and switch to millets or starchy veggies like sweet potato, yams etc - Refined oil is full of toxins. It almost immediately causes inflammation and is a major cause of weight gain. Pls help her to cook oil free. It is quite easy and you wont notice the absence of oil - Let her get sunlight..atleast 30 minutes in a day. If she can't go out, she can sit near an open window and expose her hands and legs as much as possible. Do it early morning and evening - Let her sleep and rest without distractions as much as needed. - If she can't exercise, let her try dry body brushing to improve circulation of blood. She can try some gently sitting exercises too - Be with her and help her to adopt a positive frame of mind believing in nature and her own body's healing powers. Show her the healing journeys from this website for her to draw inspiration. Yes, these are a lot of things and she may not give her full go ahead. Just ask her to try for 21 days and she herself will see a big change. Of all these changes, the easiest ones to do in my opinion are adequate rest and fruit only breakfast. These two by itself will show lot of promising results. Weight loss will surely happen too as a secondary result. Please keep checking her sugar levels and reducing dosage gradually. My dad was able to quit insulin injections within a week. Surely, your mom can too at some point in time depending on how well she can adhere. Contact me if you want any further info and all the best to both of you. Health is everyone's birthright.
How to treat tonsillitis??
Mehak
08:22 PM | 20-06-2019
There is need to be some dietary and lifestyle changes like drinking lots and lots of liquids. Try hot teas with honey, and clear soups. For some people, warm beverages help relieve the pain of Tonsillitis better than cold ones do.Avoid acidic foods and beverages.Ginger contains a compound called gingerol that has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties along with onion and Fenugreek seeds too. Chamomile tea, apple cider vinegar, and gargle with salt water can help too. Carrot, cucumber and beetroot juice can be good too.

My mom had a similar issue which she absolutely reversed via lifestyle and exercises. She got it when she was quite stressed and hardpressed for time as a teacher and long standing hrs and hand usage writing on boards. So good news is this can heal brilliantly. Lifestyle changes combined with exercises only work and not just one in this particular case food wise. Keep her on a high raw fruits veggies and greens diet and cooked must be whole food plant based meal and no oils used in cooking. Google for how to cook without oilS . We all do remoev diary meats and animal foods, wheat , sugar , refined oils take her for a sunbath or exposure to early morning sun 30 mins and let her do some deep breathing while she is doing that enema daily once cooling wet pack for the neck daily for few mins twice a day drink s lot of juices from vegetables that have water content once she feels better following exerxise must be done daily 6-7 time 1 ) stand with feet apart but comfortably. She can sit if she cannot stand. Put pressure on the forehead wit the palms backwards while the head is trying to lean fwd. similarly head leaning backward while palms at the back of the head pushing fwd. 2) relax and do some warm ups with neck exerxise like bending on all sides 12 counts 3) shoulder rotations cw and acw 3) apply cooling wet pack and relax
I have blood pressure 160 by 100 how to get rid off
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
10:39 AM | 01-05-2019
If you are looking for a short cut to bring the blood pressure down ASAP then you may consider going on a three day holiday. Holiday from food, work and responsibilities. Go on a juice fast. Drink sugar-free fresh fruit or vegetable juices only when hungry. This is not a permanent solution. This is only a temporary solution to bring blood pressure down. To get a lifetime solution to your issue you have to change your lifestyle completely to a routine which would result in better health in the long run.
I’ve been reading natural foods articles, some excellent health journeys and recipes. Frankly I was struggling with same old no milk-no calcium and no animal based diet-no protein. Finally came across the two articles relating to these and makes a lot of sense. But still struggling where to start with? Any tips for slowly changing the habits? I had stopped drinking milk few months back but it’s hard to give up yogurt, cheese etc. Is there a step by step transition or a diet chart that might

Hello there! Remember its a step by step journey. In my case I struggled for the same. At one point of time I was having 2 glasses of milk daily! If I was hungry, but busy, milk would be an easy thing to just gulp down. But once I understood its close association with all lifestyle diseases (esp diabetes and cancer), how today's milk is actually being produced , and that we are indeed the only species drinking milk way into adulthood, I made the switch. Now to your question of making the switch step by step, here is how I dealt with it: It was easy to give up the milk, as the impact on my health was immediate I was not much ofa paneer eater in any case, but enjoyed the occassional palak paneer and panner tikka! Over the years, at times I still eat it. However the focus has been more on addition vs. deletion / depriving myself. So instead of palak paneer, a lot of times we do palak corn, palak gobhi, palak aaloo varieties. At parties, I still dig into paneer tikkas, knowing that next day I will balance it out :) Cashew cream is a great addition - its whole nuts, body absorbs it well, and with a wholesome diet which includes fruits and veggies, weight is also not a challenge. It just goes wonderfully well as a dairy replacement in all your curries, daal makhani, soups and even as a topping on home made pizzas. Check out in recipe section cashew based dips Cheese - well its a lot of salt and additives/ preservatives & a fibreless food. If you like it, satiate your mind by having it once in a while. As you progress on your journey, you will eat with increasing awareness, and reach a point, where you wont crave it any more In you weekly meals add some cheat meals - food which indulge your mind. So occassional pizza, paneer dishes are fine, balance it with lots of raw fresh foods and home made juices next day - your body will work easily to eliminate the harmful impact Yes, as advocated by everyone Peanut curd is a saviour! It will help reduce family conflict too. One week make usual dairy Kadhi ...other week try peanut curd based kadhi. Slowly every one will switch over (or atealst eat what you offer at the table!) It wil take some time to get into the routine of making peanut based curd, but I was amazed how one cannot at tell the difference in most dishes All the best!
Which juicer or mixer to buy? I am confused!
Mayuri Goswami
11:19 AM | 17-01-2019
Hello everyone here are a few pointers to help make decision about juicers: You can very well make juices in regular mixie. You may have to sieve your juice, but it is still the best way to make use of all the fiber (as you have a choice to retain the fiber and/ or not sieve at all) Decision to move to high-end mixers and juicers should be step 2, not step 1. Ideally be made later in wellness journey. First inculcate the habit, then upgrade the juicer/ mixer. Many on this group will vouch for this experience. A regular mixer can do everything – nutmilks, chutneys, juices etc. – just about every function. Many of us (including me) realized this after having invested in expensive equipment which we ended up not using. Better to go for blenders / mixers which have different jars for different purpose, rather than one equipment for each need and adding to clutter in your kitchen and feeling of being overwhelmed. In terms of mixer brands Sujata and Vitamix are usually preferred choices. Sujata ofcourse is cheaper. Sujata also has a very strong horsepower. Nutribullet – great too. Is used by many professionals in cooking workshops. Great thing to have if you travel around a lot. But then the jar is small. Its sufficient for 2 users. And many will find the inverted lock system annoying. Most juicers – are expensive and in the range of 11-13k. One more reason to stick to regular mixer and blenders! In summary: Don’t fret a lot about the machine. The equipment wont make the process a regular habit, instead a regular habit will ensure you get the most out of your equipment! ☺
