Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach. Consume Vitamin C rich food as it builds up immunity at the same time clear our airway like mosumbi, oranges, lemon, sprouts, cabbage, capsicum, etc. Drink plenty of water. Have mulethi: Add one teaspoon of mulethi with one teaspoon of honey, make a paste of it and this should be taken three times a day. One hour before and one hour after it avoid consuming anything this will aid. Have ginger lemon tea, with one inch of ginger and teaspoon of lemon which will help in treating any respiratory organ issue. Exercise: Pranayam helps in treating all the respiratory problems. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oils this will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Essential oil like eucalyptus inhaled during the episode of the runny nose by putting two-three drops on your handkerchief will help a lot in treating the episode. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Hello Harshit, Your condition can be termed as occipital neuralgia this is a reaction happening in our body. Our neck muscles and headache are continuously exposed to chronic neck stress which is due to our bad sitting posture. The new-age corporate glass building and AC culture only leave our body dehydrated and diseased and then our headache triggers. It is time to treat oneself in nature's way. Many people are now choosing this mode of treatment for the simple reason this is the time to have a long term solution to all these recurrent problems. In any case, the cure remains the same, which is a holistic cure in nature's way which includes correcting your diet, sleep, and muscle tonicity. With taking initiative for treating overall health you will surely reach a cure. Eat: Food is rich in magnesium which will help in reaching the nerves in occiput and neck the sources are walnuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. Having a bottle of guard juice in the early morning is very beneficial for our occiput region. Having ginger lemon tea, with one inch of ginger, one teaspoon of lemon juice and one cup of warm water twice a day. This will help in treating blood vessels. Exercise: Sit and take 10-15 long deep breaths from the abdomen, to release all the toxicity. Start with Suryanamaskar, 12 sets daily and if you are a beginner start with 6 and slow postures with each breath. A brisk walk in the sun, the sun will help in increasing both the blood and oxygen supply of the body. The sun helps in rejuvenating the whole body. Adho Mukha svanasa, Uttanasana, Viparita Karani are very good yoga poses for treating headaches. Flexing and extending your neck, 10 times with each slow breath helps in treating occipital pain. Meditation: While sleeping, take a bowl of water. Put two-three essential oil drops like lavender or rosemary and inhale it. It will help in calming nerves. Listen to music for 15 minutes by closing your eyes and deep breathing, this will help in treating stress which can be a cause of headache. Massaging your neck muscles with coconut oil and almond oil is very helpful. Appy heat pack on your pain area which will dilate the blood vessels and reduce pain. 15-minute relaxation meditation before sleeping will be helpful. Sleep: Sleep should be of 7-8 hours, sound. This will help in releasing all stress and treat all the issues in a healthy manner. It is time to get yourself healthy and wise. Make sure you avoid the use of gadgets an hour before you sleep.
