Namaste, There are some preventive measures if you follow; Avoid intake of hot, oily, spicy, sour, salty, and bitter foods. Increase intake of liquids in the form of water, juices, coconut water, and other cooling drinks. Increase intake of pitta-pacifying herbs like green cardamom, coriander, red sandalwood, licorice root, etc. Avoid working in the sun or in a hot atmosphere such as near furnaces and boilers. Put 3 tablespoons of powdered coriander seeds and 1 tablespoon of powdered rock candy (or unrefined sugar) in a vessel (preferably an earthen pot) containing 3 cups of water. Keep it overnight. Mix well and drink 1 cup of the liquid 3 times a day. This is a very good remedy for pacifying pitta in the urinary inconsistency.
From last four month i have cough after meal or night time?? Can it be acid flux?? If it is then how it is cured?
Dr Divya Saraswat
10:44 AM | 30-09-2019
Hi Bhushan , As per your concern there is a difference in cough and acid reflux- if you have acid reflux then you will feel difference in taste , burning in throat but if you have cough it would be sticky feeling on your throat with sputum or no sputum. Differentiate your symptoms , if you have cough drink half cup hot water after the meal but if you have acid reflux then first thing you should do is change your diet- eat simple food consisting of freshly cooked vegetables, dal and chapati with salad. Eat simple boiled or roasted food avoid fat containing diet because it’s hard to digest. Avoid caffeine, aerated beverages, fried food , junk food , sweets etc. Put one spoon of ajwain in one liter of water and consume that during day it will boost your digestion. Simple eating and healthy living should be your mantra. Take care.

Hello lavanya, Dandruff can have many reasons like unhygienic conditions, fungal infection, sensitivity reaction to certain chemical based products or any underlying health disorder. Along with some external applications, some good lifestyle habits are also needed to be adopted. Diet Start the day with a glass of warm water with some fresh lemon juice in it. This Vitamin C rich drink has antioxidant properties and will help to get rid of the toxins in the body. Eat sprouts and fresh fruits in your breakfast. Have freshly prepared homemade fruit juices like beetroot juice, pomegranate juice, etc. Eat only plant-based natural foods. Include fresh vegetables, salads, nuts, and beans in your diet. Eat soaked raisins early in the morning on an empty stomach. Drink coconut water. Drink sufficient water during the day to be hydrated. Foods to avoid- Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc. Avoid animal foods. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. Avoid carbonated drinks. Exercise Exercising is essential for good blood circulation in the body and also for good metabolism. Start the day by jogging for 15min. Perform padahasta asana, shirsha asana, Ardha shirsha asana as they are effective in improving blood circulation towards the head. Take sunrays early in the morning regularly for 15-20min. Some tips Maintain personal hygiene. Don't share a towel, clothes, etc with anyone. Apply neem paste on the hair scalp. Prevent hairs from dust and smoke. Hello Ji, Recently few queries has been addressed in this topic. Request to view the same. Thanks.
I have recently purchased Moringa powder. I wish to know how to consume it? Also, can it be consumed during summer months in North India?

Hi. You can sprinkle it on your veggie salads as a flavouring, just like one can sprinkle some oregano or seeds. You can also add it to steamed veggies, soups, veggie juices. You can also add it to coconut water to bring a change in taste!! Having it in summers or not - I don't think it matters if your overall intake of water-rich foods, i.e. fruits & raw veggies is high. In any case, don't overdo. It shouldn't be that suddenly you are excited about this new purchase & are adding it to multiple things you eat in a day :-). Half to 1 tsp a day per day should be fine.
I'm often suggested by well wishers to feed lots of ghee to my son because he has a tiny structure. He takes ghee in limited quantities. What say?

It’s a myth. Go by what your Instincts tell you and not what people want. We cannot please everyone around us. Having said that, diary products and it’s byproduct’s are the worst and causes serious health damage. Ghee was used as a preservative in Meds in the past when there was no preservatives or fridge. Beyond that it has no reason and has no place in keeping us healthy with the toxins, harmones and antibiotics it carries. Please don’t get carried away by such false rumours.
Hi We had sex before day period (we had safe sex co**). But period didn't happen yet 7days crossed Is there anything chances of pregnancy I have stomach bloating Lite cramps low belly But still period isn't started

Namaste Sony, Thank you for sharing your query with us. Your symptoms can be divided into two parts: With a delayed period, bloating and cramps, the two main causes are Pregnancy and Pre-menstrual syndrome. You can consider a delay of 10 days because the mensuration cycle is affected by many reasons like changes in eating habits, physical activity or starting some new medicines. If you don't get periods after 3-4 days then you can go for a pregnancy test. Wishing you a good health

Hi Sneha Jain, Thank you for sharing your concern regarding your child. Let us understand the issue from nature cure perspective. As per nature cure, the main root cause of all kinds of disease or discomfort is TOXAEMIA - accumulation of un-eliminated toxins within the body. While some toxins are an output of metabolism, others are added due to an unnatural lifestyle – wrong food habits, lack of rest, stress etc. If not eliminated, the toxins get build up and cause diseases. While the body has an innate capacity to get rid of the toxins, it needs to be supported by way of providing it with the right inputs. Here are some guidelines that can help: 1. start day with coconut water or mono fruit bowl 2. add raw vegetable salad 20-30 mins before lunch & dinner 3. have fruits in snacks in form of juices, smoothies, salads 4. avoid tea, coffee, salt, red chilli, dairy & non veg 5. adopt oil free cooking 6. do wet pack on abdomen empty stomach daily for 15-20 mins You can also enroll in our e-learning course - Give Your Kids A Disease-Free & Natural Life! Hello,I am 57 year old woman suffering from sciatica. My question is do piles put pressure on sciatic nerve, if yes, what is natural remedy for this problem?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
07:09 PM | 04-09-2020
Hello Devika, In sciatica, as from the ancient simple diet we have come along the way of eating an unhealthy type of fats and complex carbohydrates which acts as a load on our internal organs. For the sciatic nerve there is no direct connection with piles but yes when the internal balance is lost then the whole body gets affected. Four things which help in always achieving the ideal health is, eat, exercise, meditate, and sleep. With keeping in these four things we can make sure that our body is working in harmony. Eat: A good source of calcium is green leafy vegetables and seeds this will not only help in treating the sciatica pain but also will help in giving nutrients to our nerves The seed also has a good amount of minerals which helps in the spine to develop and spinal roots to become stronger, hence the nerve does not create the pain. Having a good amount of green vegetable juice makes sure that their nutritive state improves. Vegetable juice is a sure example of getting nutrition completely absorbed. Exercise: In sciatica, we have to be regular with exercise in order to treat the muscle strength, so here is some exercise that you can start with for sciatica. Sleep on your back, and make sure you raise one leg at a time at 90 degrees, this should be done alternately. Followed by this is stand with your feet together, raise your knee near your trunk by flexing it, alternately, one breath at a time. A good warm-up is important to reduce any risk before exercise, the next thing is to start with a brisk walk of 30 minutes daily. For making leg muscles stronger. Meditation: A healthy mind leads to a healthy body, it is time to make sure you give 15 minutes daily to calm all your nerves and reflect on the day. De-stress yourself with music therapy, which will help in releasing the pain and discomfort. Sleep: Sleep always remain the most important part, a good sleep cycle is considered to be of 90 minutes, which should be 5 times a day. That makes a good 7-8 hours of sleep is needed in order to rejuvenate our cells and function daily harmoniously. Massage is another thing which you can do in order to release pain, massage your leg with coconut or almond oil, this will improve your blood circulation in the affected area. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you. Thank you

Hello Rajeshji, To help you first looking at the status of the illness contacting our forum for an individual consultation will be helpful until then you can follow these guidelines and understand your disease better. Anything in excess can be harmful to the body, but our kidneys have this excellent function of flushing out whatever is in excess and make our bodywork in harmony. The problem begins when our kidney itself starts getting hampered with the collected toxins and the treatment needs to be started. The potassium-sodium level needs to be balanced in a way that it still can be protected, so the first thing is to avoid certain food items that are of high fats and spice. Here we can discuss certain diet and exercise and some lifestyle change which will treat the problem. Now let us discuss what all things can help you in achieving a healthy body with a healthy dietary plan. Eat: Milk and milk products can be the cause of increased swelling, as it can hamper the kidney regulation. Avoiding will help. Any kind of Alcohol and cigarettes will only affect your condition. Start with drinking plenty of water, as this will help in throwing out excess toxins from the body, at least 4-5 litres water should be taken. Exercise: As too much exertion is not advisable in this case, Go for a good brisk walk for 45 minutes under the sun. This will help in regulating your health at the same time the sun will be treating the cells by activating them. Rest it would be recommended to contact our forum for further details. Thank you

Hi is it alright to give ragi milk to a 1 year 8 month old child everyday. As it's raw can it cause stomach ache or constipation? Please advise.
Mohan M
11:30 AM | 17-07-2019
Hello Mamatha Ji, Ragi milk can be adviced to a baby daily basis once in a time. Since baby will be very active its gets digested easily. Also by giving adequate water for drinking it helps to dilute in the system and makes digestion even easier. Insptie of adding milk, you can still cook it in hot water and stir it well and add some jaggery powderm, pinch of cardamom powder too to improve taste and give liquid basis. Thanks.

A handful of rocksalt does a lot of magic to clean the floor and surfaces . Dissolve a handful of that in water and use that water to clean. You can add some neem / orange peels or lemon peels in some hot water and let it rest. Use that water in a bucket full of water and use that to clean the surfaces naturally.

Hello Kunal, Surely, it is very much fine to go ahead with it as it will help in enhancing the healing. Using coconut oil is better ass it is anti-inflammatory in its action. I would also recommend having vegetable juices with ginger, for example, bottle guard and ginger combination in order to heal it faster. Drink plenty of water. Thank you

Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The next thing is including a fibre-rich food item which helps in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc. which have a good amount of fiber in them.
