Since students studying in college may not be able to fit a proper diet with all nutrients into their hectic schedules, how can college students include important nutrients in their diets on an everyday basis?
Smitha Hemadri
10:54 PM | 30-05-2019
I understand the hectic schedules. The best to follow are as below. These are the basics and beyond that it’s a bonus 1) Stay away from diary, meat, eggs, fish, sugar, chips and packaged foods that college kids are so used to snacking. It definitely adds to the peer pressure, but it’s best for the mom to make home made baked potatoes, vegan pizzas with cashew cheese etc to meet those demands. 2) We are sure they have breakfast daily at home. Perhaps they can start with a combo of cooked plus fruits and slowly increase the fruits to make only fruits as the main breakfast Beyond this everything else is a bonus.

Dear health seeker, Building up strength by food supplements is akin to becoming rich by borrowed money. For your health sake please get away from all food supplements at the earliest as these are dead food, foodless food bereft of any nutritional value and a drag on vitality. These may for sometime afford you some energy and strength but in the end, they will ruin your health for many years. Thousands of examples of wrestlers and athletes are before the world who partook of these supplements for enhancing their performance and ended up miserably by bringing upon themselves many fatal and degenerative diseases, cancer is one of them. Nature has provided us with all the nutrition from plant-based foodstuffs, the only thing required of us by mighty nature is to have the right knowledge and mental built up to benefit. You may please follow as under. 1) After usual bowels have a non-violent enema. 2) Go for a brisk walk in a garden 3) Bask in the early morning sun for 30 minutes followed by spinal bath of 20 to 25 mins and finish with full bath. 4) Eat enough seasonal fruits with coconut in breakfast. 5) Eat 1-2 chapati / rice with boiled/ steamed vegetables and salads. 6) At 4 to 5 PM eat fruit with few dates and coconut milk or cane juice. 7) Dinner as lunch. 8) Apply the wet pack over abdomen for 20 mins. 9) Self massage your body every alternate days. After initial detoxification you will develop keen hunger for which you may increase the intake of positive food which will provide you with enough energy and strength to your entire satisfaction. Stay Healthy V.S.Pawar MIINT

All of these and many more unknown issues that she has that is unnamed and doctors have not pinned it yet is all due to a single issue called bad lifestyle. She has collected a lot of toxins and her organs are failing to work properly. Our body is like a assembly line and if smaller interim parts don’t work well, the final product - general well-being in life also will be questionable. The only way to reverse is to reverse all the mistakes made in the past - possibly underuse and over-consumption of diary sugar eggs meat fish fried foods , using oil in cooking , using wheat maida ,eating outside foods , hoarding negative emotions against people around, absolutely leading a sedentary lifestyle, not connecting with nature such as exposing to sunlight, touching mud or soil , walking on the lawn or grass , lack of sleep, exposure to cell phones and Tv and things like that. Start removing all forms of the above foods and feed her as much fruits and veg juices as possible to see any form of improvement. Her body will start releasing toxins from all orifices. Be prepared to manage that with absolutely less load on digestion. Sleep and rest well. If you need a personal consultation reach wellcure and they can help
I am 24 years old. I suffered from typhoid for a month and lost more than 6 kgs. Can you please suggest me diet or tips to become healthier?

Hello User, As typhoid makes our body immunity low and makes us vulnerable, there is always a chance to rise in health. With nature's cure we can help you in getting your ideal health back. As your body was vulnerable to typhoid before, there are high chances that you were in that state that toxins were accumulated in the body and which made sure you were a suspect to get diseased. So now that the analysis says that your typhoid is out, we have to treat your body at both physical and mental levels. A lifestyle change is what is recommended and we will be helping you with that. Here are the few things you need to start with: Eat: A diet rich in Vitamin C is needed to get cured in this state, vitamin C acts over our body's immunity to make it stronger. Sources of Vitamin C are lemon, oranges, sweet potatoes, sprouts, cabbage, capsicum. Anti-oxidants are free radicals present in the body to help in protecting immunity, berries are a good source of anti-oxidants, strawberries, mulberries, oranges are a good source of anti-oxidants. Start your day with a glass of warm water which helps in flushing out of all toxins, this is a very good way of making our body's metabolism work smoothly for the whole day. A glass of vegetable juice like carrot, cucumbers, green leafy vegetables, bottle guard are another good source of having a power-packed day with good energy. It would be good to avoid milk and milk products at this stage. Exercise: A brisk walk in the early morning sun is essential as it helps in creating the needed rejuvenation of the cells. Make sure you go for a brisk walk for 30-45 minutes. Another thing is Suryanamaskar, it has actions over all the muscles which helps in treating the body completely. 12 sets of Surya namaskar is recommended, if you are a beginner starts with six then slowly increase. Meditation: A 15-minute deep relaxation before you sleep will help in calming all the nerves and make you feel good and stressfree. As you breathe deep long breaths, imagine yourself to have a happy healthy body. Sleep: A habit of sound sleep is what will help in getting back your health back when you sleep to make sure you keep your phone away from you. This will make sure no radiations are passing. Sleep helps in keeping the body fresh and provide the muscles with good health. Hopefully, this will help you Thank you

Hi, You would have heard of the famous saying, " You are what you eat". Food and lifestyle changes are important in improving health and energy levels. Raw food like raw vegetables, fruits, coconut water, nuts, and seeds are a powerhouse of nutrition. Try including the following lifestyle changes: Include fresh fruits and raw vegetables as a part of your daily regime. All micronutrients are provided which are essential in many biochemical activities of the body. Avoid all animal foods, dairy, packed, processed, oily and sugary foods. They are empty calories. Provide no nutrition to the body. All these create a toxic load on the system and make elimination and absorption difficult. Avoid caffeine and tobacco whether in tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking or even chocolates. They all cut down your appetite and lead to other health consequences. Try including vegetable juices, dates, coconut water. The juices would provide hydration to cells at a cellular level. Try including nut milk. Recipes are available on this platformhttps://www.wellcure.com/recipes/54/coconut-milk-your-easy-and-healthful-replacement-to-dairy-milk. This is one of the many you could try. Physical activity is important. It releases good hormones in the body. In a relaxed state, the body is able to function better. Proper rest and sleep are vital. This helps the body repair and rejuvenate. Regular elimination of bowels from the body is essential. Only when old waste materials are removed can the body focus on absorbing the new. Exposure to sunshine and nature. A calm and peaceful mind will have a healthy gut. Regular deep breathing is helpful in reducing stress hormones in the body. Avoid anxiety and worry. This constantly raises the stress hormones in the body and the body cannot perform its functions optimally. Gratitude is very important. It is important to thank your body as it is constantly working and trying to always maintain a balance. Absorption of nutrients happens only when you maintain a happy mind. Wishing you Good Health Always! Thank you Regards

Why my complexion is not changing even after eating healthy food, home remedies and using skin whitening creams?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
06:25 PM | 21-01-2020
Hello Natasha, The complexion is a gift we inherit from our family this is the best thing which happens to us as our skin is gifted from them. Using whitening creams will only make your skin damaged and your natural shine will go. Advice would be to take is instead of changing your complexion to enhance your skin by giving them a healthy glow. A diet rich in Vitamin C helps in increasing skin quality and helps in treating any sort of skin issue. Orange, lemon, grapes, papaya, sprouts, sweet potatoes helps in improving skin quality. Berries, like strawberries, mulberries, pumpkin, etc help in the quality of life. With these you can use these Face packs: 1. Beetroot flax seeds: Crush the beetroot and flax gel and mix it. Use this gel alternate days this helps in improving skin quality. 2. Gram flour and turmeric: Gram flour and turmeric with the addition of rose water helps in keeping the skin away from acne. 3. Massage your face daily with coconut oil and aloe vera gel together in the night, and see your skin getting the glassy glow. Hope your suggestions daily Thank you

Which fruit, vegetable, grain should be avoided in hypothyroidism. I'm 31 yr old female and have many health issues.
Nikita Mishra
11:36 AM | 15-10-2020
Hello Pihuu, Hypothyroidism is a lifestyle disorder and many people are suffering from this due to an improper lifestyle and wrong eating habits. In this, hormonal balance gets disturbed which lowers the metabolism and leads to other health issues like constipation, no hunger, fatigue, obesity, anaemia etc. Due to lower metabolism, nutrients are not absorbed properly which further leads to other health problems. Since it is a lifestyle disorder, lifestyle and eating habits are needed to be changed. Reasons for thyroid: Genetic factors. Environmental factors. Obesity. Lack of physical activity. Stress Wrong eating habits. Incorrect sleeping pattern. Diet: Eat only plant-based natural raw foods. Eat fresh fruits like banana, pomegranate, avocado. Eat fresh green leafy vegetables like spinach, coriander. Eat salads, steamed sprouts, nuts. Avoid dairy products and animal foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Eat whole grains like barley, millets, oats. Drink coconut water. Physical activity: Do suryanamaskar daily. Do gomukha asana, paschimottan asana, padahasta asana, garuda asana daily. Perform pranayam like bhramri pranayam and ujjayi pranayam for benefitting thyroid gland. Sleep: Sleeping pattern and quality greatly affects the circadian rhythm and in turn the hormonal balance. So, take a deep sleep of good quality for 77-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Thank you

Hi, I am a father of two. My son who studies in class 10 has a hectic study schedule. He studies till late in the night and hence ends up munching on knick-knacks mostly junk. Can anyone suggest some healthy alternatives?
Smitha Hemadri
04:40 PM | 12-12-2018
It really helps to clean the kitchen off junk. Imo kids will eat whats provided to them as options. When I started healthy eating habits for my kids who are now 13 and 10, we stopped biscuits, chips, chocolates etc. We are also vegans and hence most of the junk has milk powder in some form. Since we also focus on eating healthy, i avoid all foods with preservatives and additives, GMOs, vegetable oils, flavors, colors in them. So this means, i get to do more work in the kitchen to substitute their needs. Wellcure has healthy recipes. Having oranges / bananas / smoothies in the fridge helps the kids to say awake. If they want something savory, make a salad with some chat masala lime and pepper with some pieces of dates. Some baked potato chips with coconut oil smeared on them / baked potatoes with salt , italian seasoning and pepper , channa steamed with some coconut lime and salt are some healthy options. It all comes down to extra work for parents..so imo that cannot be helped. We must embrace the work for the health of the kids. Over time it becomes a habit for the entire family to eat healthy.

Hello Aniket, Since you are on fast for almost 3 days, so don't start eating suddenly. Give some time to your digestive system to come in the normal functioning from a stationary state. Start by having fresh homemade fruit juices and coconut water in the first half of the day. Have soaked raisins and dry fruits as they will help to get the easily absorbable nutrients. Have sprouts and fresh fruits. Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available vegetables. Eat only plant based natural foods. After one day, start having whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc. Use cold-pressed oil for cooking instead of using refined oils. Avoid dairy products and animal foods. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Thank you
Can roasted chana be a healthy snacks for a person seeking health from autoimmune disease?
Smitha Hemadri
12:32 PM | 16-09-2019
I suggest soaked Channa or fruits for snacks instead of roasted Channa that’s also loaded with refined salts and possibly refined oils. Snacking is not suggested unless you are hungry. Auto immune issues are majorly GUT related. The filters in the intestines tear and food particles in its undigested state enter the blood stream. The body attacks the invading object in the blood. Hence you see many auto immune issues. To heal this condition., It is best that you start cleaning the GUT, which in turn will clean the liver, which in turn will be ready to absorb and deliver nutrients throughout the body and eventually cleaning the intestine as well. If the previous organs in the process have done their job, the colon will not have to take a hit. it’s very important that the liver starts doing its job to heal any kind of intestinal issues/organs of excretion so that the unwanted food , pathogens and heavy metals doesn’t end up in the intestines and colon. Ideally these are supposed to thrown out naturally after altering its state, but when they end up as-is, they attract more issues in the colon which the colon might not be geared up to do When body organs are clean, they do their job perfectly well. With a right lifestyle this can be achieved . You must switch to a low fat plant based lifestyle. Low fat here because fats also come in low % from raw foods like fruits vegetables and greens. Give rest to the GUT by juicing majorly for few days with green fruit or veg juices only in abundance like it’s your meal. Take water enema for a month under nature cure expert guidance without interfering with your normal bowel movements Stop the consumption of dairy eggs meat seafood Stop all forms of fats ( oils , grease , nuts seeds ) that will add load to an already compromised liver Stop all forms of foods that are purchased Go raw on greens, fruits majorly for one full month/ 2 months as conditions improve Cooked food post that has to be only once a day without using oils or ghee with 30% grains that are gluten free and oilfree, unpolished, unrefined Wheat and foods with maida wheat has to be avoided Sugar and processed sweetners avoided Place a cold wet towel daily on the abdomen for 30 mins. Start with 5 mins hot towel and 25 mins cold Exposure to sunlight for 30 mins Practice mental peace, leading a stress free life, free of any form of negativity Let us know if you have any questions Be blessed Smitha Hemadri (educator of natural healing practices)
Is greek yogurt healtheir then regular yogurt?
Dr. Stuti Nilesh Pardh...

Hello, You can try plant based yogurt, which is much better option. There are options such as Coconut cream and pea protein which can be used to make plant based yogurt. Alternatively, almond milk also is used to make plant based yogurt. The reasons we consume plant based yogurt is because it contains twice the amount of vitamins, minerals and Omega -3 which serves both the emotional and physical health Plant based yogurt recipes can be found on youtube.
