Kavitha, that’s great. Also finish all raw food quota of the day before cooked. I too get bloated if I eat cooked in between and then raw sometime later even after a gap. Now I hardly have any such problem. I am on high raw. I eat cooked in the night in small portions. Also you can follow me on insta where I put my daily raw food intake. You can also find a lot of channels on insta with raw foods. Basically before eating raw, we need to fix your gut health. Can you start cucumber juice 500ml daily everyday on empty stomach ? U can mix mint with it and drink it filtered. Even after that 3 days you do this . Fast till 12 after that if you can till 12. If u can’t , then next hunger green juice with any watery vegetable and then a good portion of fruits and then vegetables ( don’t overeat hard veggies. Include greens) , give a good 3-4 hr gap and then eat cooked 30% and 70% steamed veggie.

I was highly allergic and pre Diwali and pre Holi were night mares . And for the 1st time in last so many years I did not get the allergy issues of severe sneezing and breathing issues. Even if someone is not able to follow inclusion of veggie juice , lemon , adrak and Kacchi haldi work good, though one needs to limit oil and ghee and milk.
I have a sun spot on my cheek and also dark circles under my eyes. It is dark and is very visible. I don’t want to go through radiation skin treatment. Any suggestions how I can get rid of both?

Hi. Our body speaks to us through signals. A migraine is the body's way of telling you to slow down. It never happens all of a sudden, no illness/disease happens all of a sudden. It's only when we miss out listening to our body, that it is forced to give us bigger & bigger signals. It happened with me in 2014. I was getting health issues one after the other & each was bigger than the previous one. But once I understood the body's self-healing powers & nourished myself with good food, air and thoughts, everything became ok. I always lived with a nagging headache issue, but now it has vanished. So where did I slow down? Two places - 1. foods - Eat easy to digest Natural Foods so that the body gets its deserved time of rest, else it is always busy in digestion. 2. thoughts - I worked on my stress levels, made a conscious effort to engage in joyous activities, used a few techniques like journalling, visualisations, affirmations. You must read the blog Understand body's natural healing mechanism, especially the videos mentioned at the end of the blog. It will help u understand how ur migraine is not 'sudden' but a result of your past actions. As far as meds are concerned, I think the answer lies in ur question itself :-). UTI also is an inflammation of the urinary tract when there is a lot of acidity. When does such things happen ? When our body is toxic with diary, meat and processed goods for a long period. When we don’t drink enough water, when we don’t tend to pass urine freq , color is urine slowly turns yellow, smells slowly like bcomplex tablets and overtime it’s really having a bad odour. There are no quick-fixes to chronic medical condition. Too much of gas/burps is a signal your body is giving that everything is not alright inside you. Burp can have many causes. Common among them is eating or drinking too fast or too much leading to improper digestion (indigestion can itself have many causes). Eating or drinking too fast without ample chewing will mean that the food reaches stomach without adequate amount of saliva (amylase), which is the first step of chemical process of digestion. Having missed this vital step food will not digest properly and the indigested food will start putrefying in the stomach/intestines and create flatulence which will find its way out either through burps or farts. And this inconvenience is just the beginning of complications. An unhealthy stomach leads to most of chronic diseases. Take care in what you eat and how much you eat. Keep yourself off of oil,dairy, meat and refined items like sugar and salt (minimum intake if you can't eliminate) for three days, eat small portions of meal, stay hydrated, get ample sleep, go for a long walk (minimum 1 hr) and feel the change. Don't drink water within 2hrs after and 1 hour before any meal. Thanks
My 75year old Father-in-law has a severe case of sciatica accompanied with varicose veins. He gets plenty physical exercise through the day. He has been a complete non-vegetarian all his life. Sciatica Pain and varicose veins can be cured through a clean diet and positive attitude. Removal of non veg is a must infact!! In the meanwhile you can do the below: 1. If he can’t give up non veg, source the best for him, such that it’s hormone free. Evaluate your vendors. Choose organic. 2. Give him vegetable salad before his non veg meal as enzymes of raw veggies will help in digesting the non veg. If possible add veggies in non veg too, lightly steamed ones. 3. Ideally eat non veg alone, don’t combine with any grains. Or replace rice with samak rice (barnyard millet) and wheat roti with amaranth atta roti. 4. For headaches exposure to sunlight is very good ..at the time you are getting the migraine go to dark, its body’s signal to rest and recover. However, relook at you sleep and daylight exposure routine. Early morning sun will rest your body clock, and reduce the triggers. My personal favorite is to go out in early morning sun Sit and sun gaze with eyes closed ..... I find it very relaxing and energising .I sleep better and I feel blessed n happy with life ..We must not forget that Sun is the primary source of all energy ☺ plant based secondary and animal based only third in line!

Menopause is a natural process. Every woman goes through it in her late forties-early fifties. There is nothing to be anxious about. The moment your cousin can accept this truth, she will find it easier to cope. Deep breathing and meditation helps in relaxing. She may be getting hot flashes during this period, so taking some 10-15 minutes out for rose water eyepads helps. She can also wind down daily at night through aroma oils.
I have this long running itching issue in my body and none of mainstream (Allopathy, Homeo, Ayurveda, naturopathy) seems to have worked. Hi. Keep yourself adequately oxygenated. This can happen in 2 ways: 1. Breathe in good oxygen - do deep breathing sitting in the sun. Do a few yoga breathing exercises - anulom vilom, bhastrika, etc. 2. Avoid foods that block flow of oxygen in the body, I.e. un-natural foods such as non veg, dairy, refined oils, white sugar, table salt, junk foods, etc. Eat fibre rich foods such as fruits and vegetables, eat in whole form or as juices, smoothies and salads. Eat nuts and seeds, whole grains. Stress also reduces oxygen flow to brain cells. So work on that. Engage in any activity of your interest such as music, gardening, reading, etc. Challenge your mind through chess or sudoku or puzzles. Stimulate the brain cells. Focus on sleeping well. Body undertakes function of repair and maintenance only when you sleep well. Overall- remember that body is programmed to give us good health. Focus on the baby’s rest and sleep during this time. Do know that the body does a great job of cleaning and repairing when it is rested well. So if the stuffy nose is keeping him awake, do steam 3-4 times a day to allow for comfortable sleeping. Do expose to early morning and evening sun. You will see what a difference it will make to the stuffy nose and congestion. Sun is a natural anti-congestion remedy, and I do that diligently with my child whenever going through a bout of fever, cold or cough. Ensure he is is sleeping earlier than usual in evenings. Massage him well each night with warm mustard oil and garlic …soles, head, nose and chest and back. Giving lukewarm water bath also helps with the congestion.
