Hi! I have observed in most of the recipes on Wellcure, vegetables are steamed instead of being pressure cooked. Is pressure cooking harmful? How about stir frying?

Cooking openly in a vessel and steaming it is much healthier than pressure cooking. Steamed veggies are next best to having raw foods. Steaming means we expose the veggies to steam and they get cooked vs cooking under pressure. Pressure cooking is so much a part of Indian cooking system where things like Opos and other pressure cooking has come into picture to make life simple. Steaming under moderately low temperatures in a vessel with lid covered is best. When you cook it in the right containers, they take longer to cook and retain some of the essential nutrients too. The amount of loss of positive food factors like vitamins organic minerals etc differs with diff styles of cooking. The following are the methods in the order of their goodness. 1) baking in a closed oven with a cover over the vessel. Baking can happen in an oven or a mud based oven etc 2) steaming in a closed receptacle 3) boiling with minimum of water needed, the escape of vapour being controlled by a closed lid like a pressure cooker without a whistle These are called conservative methods of cooking Roasting and frying with grease is not recommended. You can however use sprinkles of water and keep closing a lid to cook the veg in less water thereby appearing it to look like fried. But using oil ghee etc is definitely not ok from a health perspective Cooking in the type of container also matters. Prefer steel , cast iron, soapstone, clay, glass bakeware can be used. I usually pick salads, fruits and fill myself. In absence of those it’s rice and rasam or mixed rice. I always avoid dairy, sweets, fried, wheat, maida, gravy which can contain dairy creams. Anything that does not fall in this category, I make an exception and have. In cases where I know I won’t find much, I give an excuse that my stomach is upset and I come back home and have or I have and go make an excuse. I pay more attention to my presence there more than me eating some food served in a buffet. Habit of Pleasing People can’t sustain . now a days copper based water bottles or bamboo bottles are available in the market that are good for health. In ancient tradition copper vessels n mud vessels were used to purify the water.
I'm 28 years old, my personality used to be very bubbly and happy. Nowadays my skin looks dull and have very dark dark circles, and I don't look healthy like used to be. I'm working for 9 hours in front of computers, I changed my diet, going for workout but still not getting any results. I feel stressed and dull don't kno why. Namaste Looks like you are spending way too much of time in front of the computers. Well if that’s what you have to do and if you don’t have any other choice, then just do certain things to make life better even otherwise. Every half an hour leave your table, walk around a bit, take a water break, look out of the window at green trees or plants, drink in the natural beauty. And try to squat a couple of times to stretch your muscles and joints. This is to keep your mind and body relaxed all through the day. Dear health seeker Jayasree, Diabetes is a mother of all disease, and India is a world capital of this dreaded disease, not for nothing, our eating habits combined with our socialistic obligations of treating our guests with tea, coffee and snacks at any time contribute largely towards its vast clientele. Diabetes is confessedly not cured by allopathy. To manage the situation, they supply insulin from an external source- an animal product in a state where the pancreas fails to secrete it. In this case, they are at a loss not to pin it down on some bacilli, bacteria, germ etc. Nor do they care to study the cause and remove it. In general, the causes of this can be any or a group of the following;- 1. The pancreas has been so much overworked that it has struck work.- 2. The basic material out of which the pancreas can produce insulin is not available in the body tissues and fluids- 3. That centre in the brain that controls the activities of the pancreas is damaged either owing to degeneration or trauma[ injury] Whatever be the case, our universal Medicine, maybe either Bilva Patra [leaves] or grass. A regular daily intake of any of these or alternatively, the trouble would be totally relieved. Every grain [ whole ] contains insulin in its germ [ger ], but it is lost to the modern eater. Steel utensils are most practical for day to day use. I also use earthen vessels for cooking rice
My mom is 74 year old. She's having lot of gastric issues recently. She's little motions frequently, that gastric noices in stomach also. Specially after eating certain foods like Chick peas, guava etc. She has issue of hands trembling, joints pain in left leg, sinus. She lives active lifestyle, besides housework like cooking also goes to Brahma kumaris ashram daily. Please advise suitable remedies. We eat satvic food. Mom has problem digesting raw vegetables, so she blends salads I prepare.

Its good that she follows an active lifestyle at this age. Vegetables will not cause gastric issues rather it brings out the underlying problem. Basically her body has become acidic due to wrong lifestyle choices over the years. You have not given much details but I assume she maybe consuming milk and its products, maybe non veg too and tea/coffee with sugar. All these foods are highly acidic and should be gradually reduced and stopped over a period of time. Check in the recipes section for many alternatives to tea,coffee and dairy and let he start having them. She should also increase intake of fruits ..atleast upto 50% of her diet over time. This will help to alkalize her body. All other problems which you cite also are related. Please also make sure she gets an hour of sunlight exposre everyday whatever be the weather. Ensure she eats 3 hours before bedtime for sound sleep.
Pls suggest a good brand for sesame, coconut and peanut oil - for cooking purpose.

Cholesterol increases with increase of inflammation in the body. Identify the cause of inflammation and remove it. Cholesterol is to heal inflammation so please do not take medication to decrease inflammation as the body will bounce back with higher cholesterol to heal inflammation. Food that causes inflammation.:- 1. Dairy. 2. Refined oil. 3. Refined sugar. 4. Preservatives in packaged foods. 5. Smoking and alcoholic beverages. 6. Lot of medication. You can reverse high cholesterol in 30 days. Go on only fruits and raw vegetables for 30 days. After that focus on lifestyle change. Fatty liver is of two types - alcoholic and non- alcoholic. Alcoholic is self explanatory, Non-Alcoholic is invariably associated with diet rich in refined oil, fats and high medication. Body having gone through high inflammation stores fats in liver for emergency. So go on fasting regularly to enable the body to use this reserve.

🙏 नमस्ते हॉस्टेल के तीखे भोजन के साथ , अगर आप अपनी दिनचर्या में ये चीजें शामिल कर लें तो आपका स्वास्थ्य संभला रहेगा , आइये जानते हैं इनके बारे में- ✔️ आंवला किसी भी रूप में थोड़ा सा आंवला हर रोज़ खाते रहे, जीवन भर उच्च रक्तचाप और हार्ट फेल नहीं होगा, इसके साथ चेहरा तेजोमय बाल स्वस्थ और सौ बरस तक भी जवान महसूस करेंगे। ✔️ मेथी मेथीदाना पीसकर रख ले। एक चम्मच एक गिलास पानी में उबाल कर नित्य पिए। मीठा, नमक कुछ भी नहीं डाले इस पानी में। इस से आंव नहीं बनेगी, जोड़ो के दर्द नहीं होंगे और पेट ठीक रहेगा। ✔️ दालचीनी सर्दियों में चुटकी भर दालचीनी की फंकी दिन में दो बार लेने से अनेक रोगों से बचाव होता है। ✔️ नाक में तेल रात को सोते समय नित्य सरसों का तेल नाक में लगाये। और 5 – 5 बूंदे बादाम रोगन की या सरसों के तेल की हर रोज़ डालें. ✔️ तुलसी और काली मिर्च प्रात: दस तुलसी के पत्ते और पांच काली मिर्च नित्य चबाये। सर्दी, बुखार, श्वांस रोग, अस्थमा नहीं होगा। नाक स्वस्थ रहेगी। ✔️ सौंठ सामान्य बुखार, फ्लू, जुकाम और कफ से बचने के लिए पीसी हुयी आधा चम्मच सौंठ और ज़रा सा गुड एक गिलास पानी में इतना उबाले के आधा पानी रह जाए। रात क सोने से पहले यह पिए। बदलते मौसम, सर्दी व् वर्षा के आरम्भ में यह पीना रोगो से बचाता हैं। सौंठ नहीं हो तो अदरक का इस्तेमाल कीजिये। ✔️ कभी कभी आप एक बार का भोजन स्किप कर सकते है और फल , sprout और सलाड ले सकते है । ✔️ अपने भोजन करने के समय को बढ़ाये , आरामसे चबाकर खाएं । इन चीजों से बचें ❌ देर रात तक जागना ❌ खाने में स्पीड रखना ❌ खाकर सो जाना ❌ चाय और कॉफी का लत लगना ❌ क्रोध में रहना Health is Wealth धन्यवाद 🙏

नमस्तेकारण - शरीर को स्वस्थ रहने के लिए अन्य पोषक तत्वों के साथ-साथ खून की भी जरूरत होती है। खून ही शरीर में लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं का निर्माण करता है। ये कोशिकाएं ही शरीर में हीमोग्लोबिन बनाने का काम करती हैं। हीमोग्लोबिन फेफड़ों से ऑक्सीजन लेकर रक्त में ऑक्सीजन पहुंचाता है। इसलिए आयरन की कमी से शरीर में हीमोग्लोबिन की कमी हो जाती है और हीमोग्लोबिन कम होने से शरीर में ऑक्सीजन की कमी होने लगती है। रक्त संचार में दोष शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता के कारण हो रहा है।समाधान - समाधान - फल, कच्चे सब्ज़ी के जूस और कच्चे सब्ज़ी का सलाद लें। आयरन का अच्छा स्रोत है इसीलिए केले के तने का जूस प्रतिदिन लें। 20g केले के तने को छोटा छोटा काट कर पीस लें। 100ml पानी मिला कर छान कर पिएँ। आहार में परिवर्तन आयु के हिसाब से करना चाहिए। 9 साल के बाद दुध या दुध से बना सामान नहीं पचता है। 20 साल के बाद प्रोटीन के बाहरी स्रोतों से परहेज़ ज़रूरी है। 30 साल के बाद अनाज, तेल घी से परहेज़ ज़रूरी है।जीवन शैली - शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह।आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह लें।पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। खीरा + नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट दर्द वाले हिस्से पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। सुर्य की रोशनी उसी जगह पर लगाएँ।मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ। दोपहर के खाने में ragi की रोटी oil free सब्ज़ी के साथ लें। शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ।लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा dopahar के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid) की कमी हो जाती है। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद। धन्यवाद।रूबी, Rubyप्राकृतिक जीवनशैली शिक्षिका (Nature Cure Educator)

Hello Shakir, We can understand that anxiety can leave you with unfruitful day, it can make you worry bout things which are sometimes not even relevant. If you are having thoughts that do not allow you to grow and achieve things, obviously they should be replaced with an abundant positivity. The best advice when suffering from anxiety is taking a natural way to treat it. Going the natural way will only help in treating the episode but will also help in preventing it. As the stressors in today's lifestyle have increased be it for a person working at home or corporate lifestyle everything needs to be tackled in a healthy manner. A lifestyle filled with green vegetables, fruits, exercise, and meditation. The episode of anxiety can also be dealt with easily if you have a lifestyle with nutritious food and a healthy diet. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. प्रीतपाल जी नमस्ते 🙏 घरेलू उपायों द्वारा , कैसे हम दाँतो को संभाले । दाँत के रोग सड़न व कीड़े लगना । दाँत साफ न रखना व भोजन के बाद कुल्ला न करने से होता है । निम या करंज या पीपल या जामुन या अमरूद का दातुन करें । अदरक नमक के पानी से कुल्ला करें । अमरूद के पत्ते लौंग अजवायन के पानी से कुल्ला करें । निम्बू के रस में लौंग पीसकर मिलाये व दांतों पर मले कीड़े बाहर आ जाएंगे । दाँत दर्द दाँतो की सफाई न करने व पेट मे कब्ज व वायु रहने से व अत्यधिक icecream खाने से होता है। रुई के द्वारा लौंग का तेल या जायफ़ल का तेल या बरगद का दूध लगाने से । अदरक व तुलसी के पत्तो का रस लगाये । हींग के पानी से कुल्ला करें । नमक लगे अदरक चूसने से । हरे पुदीने के पानी से कुल्ला करें । लौंग के पानी से या हल्दी के पानी से या फिटकिरी के पानी से कुल्ला करें । मूली का नियमित सेवन से या प्याज के रस से मसाज करने से या मेथी के पानी से कुल्ला करने से दाँत व मसूड़े मजबूत होते हैं । दाँत को साफ करने के घरेलू उपाय जो व्यक्ति पेस्ट करते हैं उन्हीं के दाँत सबसे ज्यादा खराब है और उन्हीं के दांतो में बीमारीया भी अधिक लगती है इसलिए ये उपाय अपनाये । सेंधा नमक, हल्दी पाउडर तथा सरसो का तेल तीनो को मिलाकर दांतो पर सफाई करें । अंगुली से दाँत को साफ करने से आपके मसूड़ों की मालिश होगी और मसूड़ों की मालिश होती है मसूड़े मजबूत होगे तो दाँत भी मजबूत होगे तथा भविष्य में दातों की बीमारी नहीं होगी ।यदि आपके आसपास नीम, बबूल, किककर, जामुन, अमरूद के पेड़ हैं तो आप इनमें किसी भी पेड़ की दातुन कर सकते है । 🙏 धन्यवाद

I have developed acne and pimples on my jawline and chin, I eat balanced diet, I wake up early and exercise for an hour. Also I am suffering from irregular periods which adds further to this problem, I have tried various home remedies to cure but nothing seems to work, I have lost confidence as my face's skin seems uneven rough.
