Namaste Swatantra From what I gather from your routine, the only thing missing is any activity to strengthen your knee muscles. There are a couple of simple leg excercises which can strengthen the knee muscles. The best approach would be to learn yoga and practice asanas to strenghten the lower body. When you do any activity, take note of actions which trigger pain and take note of actions which make you feel better. incorporate the healing ones and do not repeat the hurting ones. slowly and steadily you will be able to heal your knees. Remember whenever in pain, rest is must. Hot and cold fomentation and cold compresses will help too. especially when you have pain. Be Happy Be Healthy Always Swati Dhariwal Nature Cure Practitioner

Try intermittent fasting.just give your body a break. Remember no one can heal your body, not the doctors, not me, not the naturopaths, Your body heals itself. Your body already knows the best possible way to get you healthy. All you need to do is listen to your body and support it. Ahappy lso, add more alkaline foods into your diet like spinach, swiss chard, mustard greens, etc. Go for brown rice instead of white rice. you can also go vegan. And this isnt about making you feel good or to inspire you. This is how it works, this is how your body works. Everything's chemistry guys. Lifestyle is a way of life that you love body mind and spirit. If you live a conflicted life, your mind and heart being elsewhere and you looking at a healthy way of life as a diet then it’s likely that you won’t see results. Living a happy life with junk may not kill as opposed to living a conflicted life with raw. I have worked with someone who was a raw vegan but suffered a high bp. So unless you are at peace with anything, it’s a crime to your body in doing it. Make peace with ur lifestyle or follow something that your heart asks. You may be wrong, but you will come back to the right reasons overtime.

Hello Kritika, The lifestyle which is filled with complex food items, a sedentary lifestyle, and toxic food habits leads to hampering our normal physiological cycle. Taking a step holistically improves our body's reproductive health. Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Have two dates every time with your breakfast to increase the iron content and one glass of jaggery water with one tablespoon of lemon. This will increase yur iron content which helps in improving egg quality. Beetroot is a very good source of folic acid. Have them with your salad an hour before a meal. Folic acid increases the rate of conceiving. Spinach and tomato juice is also a good idea for increasing folic acid content. Exercise: Surynamakar helps in increasing the blood circulation doing 12 sets will help, start with 6 if you are a beginner. Squats help in strengthening your uterine muscle, 10-15 times at one time will help in increasing uterus muscle tonicity. Cobra pose helps increase blood circulation in the pelvic region. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.15-minute relaxing meditation with the help of light music before sleep will help you in relaxing. Pelvic massages are very helpful in conceiving, massage your pelvic region with coconut or almond oil for 10-15 minutes to increase the conceiving rate. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables. Drink coconut water. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated and to eliminate the toxins out of the body. Foods to avoid- Avoid refined oils and refined grains. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. Avoid carbonated drinks. How to keep your kidneys healthy after undergoing laser treatment for kidney stones?
Dr.Tokika
10:16 AM | 24-09-2019
Hi there, Kidney stones occur when minerals and salts, most commonly calcium oxalate, crystallize in the kidneys and create hard deposits .They are also called renal calculi or urolithiasis. Note ; Once you get a kidney stone, studies suggest you are up to 50% more likely to form another stone within 5–10 year. So it is very important to maintain a good kidney health and it's function by eating healthy and living a proper lifestyle . Following are the advice you can follow ; •Reduce or minimise the amount of daily sodium intake. A high-sodium diet can trigger kidney stones formation. •Getting too little calcium in your diet can cause oxalate levels to rise and cause kidney stones. To prevent this, make sure to take in an amount of calcium appropriate to your age.( obtain calcium from food source only). • Increase your daily fluid intake. Dehydration can worsen the kidney problems further. •Drink lemon juice daily. Lemons contain citrate, a compound that helps break down calcium deposits and slow their growth. Two 5-oz glasses, the first on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and another a few hours before dinner, may help break down smaller stones. •Wheatgrass juice can help to expel minerals and salts from the urinary tract, preventing them from crystalizing into kidney stones. • Eating too much animal protein, such as red meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood, boosts the level of uric acid and could lead to kidney stones. A high-protein diet also reduces levels of citrate, the chemical in urine that helps prevent stones from forming. Avoid these foods for better kidney health and it's functions. •Avoid other stone-forming foods such as chocolate, spinach, tea, and most nuts are rich in oxalate, colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones. • Poor lifestyle habits plays a crucial role in altering the metabolic activities of the body. The changes or alteration in the body's metabolic and hormonal proportion can lead to stones formation in your kidneys. Alcohol, smoking and lack of physical activities or exercises can greatly affect your body physical.

Hi! I am suffering from irregular periods from last 1year. We are trying for conceive, is there any healthy diet plan that will be very useful to me?
Nikita Mishra
12:25 PM | 27-11-2020
Hello Laxmi, You are not able to conceive because of the irregularity in the menstrual cycle. Every month, the uterus is prepared for keeping the foetus and when the fertilization doesn't occur, the lining of the uterus which was thickened begins to come out as blood. Irregular menses means the uterus is not getting prepared properly. Irregularity in periods is a result of hormonal changes that are caused by our wrong eating habits and sedentary lifestyle. A wrong living style leads to accumulating toxins within the body which disturbs the functioning and hormonal balance. Possible reasons for irregular periods Stress. Incorrect sleeping pattern. Poor nutrition. Hormonal imbalance. Diet to take Start the day with 2-3 glasses of warm water. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Eat only plant-based natural foods. Take overnight soaked raisins in the morning. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices like pomegranate juice, beetroot juice. This will provide the body with easily absorbable nutrients. Drink coconut water. Include green leafy vegetables, salads, sprouts to your diet. Foods to avoid Avoid processed foods and packaged foods. Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. Avoid dairy products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence facilitates the accumulation of toxins in the body. Avoid animal products. Avoid carbonated drinks. Physical activity Exercising is very important to improve the body's metabolism and blood circulation. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, trikona asana, vriksha asana, tada asana. Take a short morning walk of at least 30min daily. Take sunlight in the morning. Meditation and pranayam Meditation and Pranayam, both help to relieve stress. The vibrations that are generated during the pranayam heal many health issues along with relieving stress. So, practice meditation for 20 minutes daily. Perform bhramri pranayam, ujjayi pranayam. Sleep A correct sleep cycle is very important to maintain the circadian rhythm. Hence, take 7-8hours of sleep regularly. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you
What is the standard BP and pulse of a healthy old man aged 72-73 years?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
07:51 PM | 09-04-2020
The way the World Health Organization has maintained the standard way of calculating the blood pressure, which is: Whatever is your age, + 100 For example: If your age is 72 then ideal standard Blood pressure with your age is 172 is considered as normal and diastolic around 100. Above it would be at high risk. Average blood pressure of a newborn is around 60/40. Blood pressure rises as we grow old. The pulse is measured in the range of 60-100 of all age groups. This is how you can get your standard blood pressure counted. Thank you.

Acne is the most common chronic skin disease. It is the inflammation of sebaceous glands and hair follicles usually on face, neck, chest and shoulders. It is closely related to endocrine disturbances in puberty. The skin covering whole body is an innate mechanism. It serves three important functions Protection Regulation of body temperature Elimination of waste products The skin is directly connected to working of whole system. All skin disease are outcome of malfunctioning of body as a whole. The treatment of acne by administration of ointment serves no purpose. This only suppress the sebaceous glands temporarily. In nature cure, the main emphasis is on diet and water treatments. Patient should consume fruits daily, citrus fruits should be avoided. A all-fruit diet is recommended for a few days to cleanse the system. Strict attention to diet is important for recovery. Starchy, protein and fatty foods should be avoided. Two vitamins namely, niacin and Vit A have been successfully used to treat acne. Vitamin therapy under the guidance of doctor is recommended. Also, take Vit E to prevent scarring from acne. Hot fomentation should be applied to open up pores and squeeze out waste matter. Than rinse with cold water. A hot Epsom bath twice a week will be highly beneficial in all forms of acne. Good luck :)

Yes this is true. Not just for dals, but all foods. Best is to eat raw foods or cook below 43 degrees celsius. Beyond this temperature, enzymes & nutrients start getting destroyed.
Since students studying in college may not be able to fit a proper diet with all nutrients into their hectic schedules, how can college students include important nutrients in their diets on an everyday basis?
Smitha Hemadri
10:54 PM | 30-05-2019
I understand the hectic schedules. The best to follow are as below. These are the basics and beyond that it’s a bonus 1) Stay away from diary, meat, eggs, fish, sugar, chips and packaged foods that college kids are so used to snacking. It definitely adds to the peer pressure, but it’s best for the mom to make home made baked potatoes, vegan pizzas with cashew cheese etc to meet those demands. 2) We are sure they have breakfast daily at home. Perhaps they can start with a combo of cooked plus fruits and slowly increase the fruits to make only fruits as the main breakfast Beyond this everything else is a bonus.

Hi, I am a father of two. My son who studies in class 10 has a hectic study schedule. He studies till late in the night and hence ends up munching on knick-knacks mostly junk. Can anyone suggest some healthy alternatives?
Smitha Hemadri
04:40 PM | 12-12-2018
It really helps to clean the kitchen off junk. Imo kids will eat whats provided to them as options. When I started healthy eating habits for my kids who are now 13 and 10, we stopped biscuits, chips, chocolates etc. We are also vegans and hence most of the junk has milk powder in some form. Since we also focus on eating healthy, i avoid all foods with preservatives and additives, GMOs, vegetable oils, flavors, colors in them. So this means, i get to do more work in the kitchen to substitute their needs. Wellcure has healthy recipes. Having oranges / bananas / smoothies in the fridge helps the kids to say awake. If they want something savory, make a salad with some chat masala lime and pepper with some pieces of dates. Some baked potato chips with coconut oil smeared on them / baked potatoes with salt , italian seasoning and pepper , channa steamed with some coconut lime and salt are some healthy options. It all comes down to extra work for parents..so imo that cannot be helped. We must embrace the work for the health of the kids. Over time it becomes a habit for the entire family to eat healthy.

Hello Devraj, Consumption of fatty diet and highly spiced food leads to indigestion which causes constipation this is found to be primary cause other causes can be stress, wrong posture, and sedentary lifestyle. Sometimes we think that we are eating healthy but it is the food combination which is very wrong and not able to suit us. Toxins are the primary cause of gastric trouble which ultimately leads to nutrition not getting absorbed causing disturbed sleep and also less iron content which makes our blood flow scanty. Our sedentary lifestyle also plays a role in this picture. What needs to be taken care of now is the fact that a major change in lifestyle and diet will be the cure of the problem. A healthy toxin release happens in a healthy way like excretion of urine and faeces. In digestive problems with the consumption of this kind of food, the problem is, from the oesophagus to rectum everything is disturbed. The toxins are in the body, call it to stomach ulcers or gastritis, they relate to the same cause. With a healthy change in routine, what makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, that we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing future relapses. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Including a fibre-rich food item that helps in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc. which have a good amount of fibre in them. Have one tomato with black pepper in the evening time an hour before dinner, tomato also helps in improving iron content. During evening time, take an inch of ginger and boil in two cups of water with half a teaspoon of turmeric honey, this will help in beating inflammation caused by indigestion. Exercise: Sitting in the position of Vajraasana will help in the treatment of indigestion. After your meals practice, this poses for better digestion and easy stools. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes helps in treating your body to its level best. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you Thank you.

Fear or Will Power Develop fear or will power, rest will fall in place. If you are healthy then you need to focus on will power, if you think you are sick or have the potential to fall sick then fear is the answer. Fear and will power work best in changing habits to a healthy lifestyle. The fear of getting sick and will power to stay healthy. They both go hand in hand, one may binge (weak will power) on fast food and get sick (increase of fear). We need to become fearless and that happens with strong will power. Strong will power comes when we get intoxicated with Good Health. No one wishes to visit a Doctor or get sick, so the best is to make your food as your medicine by becoming a Doctor for your true self. One change which you may start with is the right way to drink water. The four golden rules:- 1. Always sit before drinking water. 2. Water must neither be chilled or hot, must be at body temperature. 3. Always sip water like a bird. 4. Drink water 40 minutes before meals and two hours after meals.
Why my complexion is not changing even after eating healthy food, home remedies and using skin whitening creams?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
06:25 PM | 21-01-2020
Hello Natasha, The complexion is a gift we inherit from our family this is the best thing which happens to us as our skin is gifted from them. Using whitening creams will only make your skin damaged and your natural shine will go. Advice would be to take is instead of changing your complexion to enhance your skin by giving them a healthy glow. A diet rich in Vitamin C helps in increasing skin quality and helps in treating any sort of skin issue. Orange, lemon, grapes, papaya, sprouts, sweet potatoes helps in improving skin quality. Berries, like strawberries, mulberries, pumpkin, etc help in the quality of life. With these you can use these Face packs: 1. Beetroot flax seeds: Crush the beetroot and flax gel and mix it. Use this gel alternate days this helps in improving skin quality. 2. Gram flour and turmeric: Gram flour and turmeric with the addition of rose water helps in keeping the skin away from acne. 3. Massage your face daily with coconut oil and aloe vera gel together in the night, and see your skin getting the glassy glow. Hope your suggestions daily Thank you
