Hi Ashwini. As per Natural Living, long cough reflects an imbalance in the body, i.e accumulation of waste material. Body has self healing powers. You just need to support it with the right inputs, i.e. naturally. For short term relief, have ginger tea or any herbal tea that soothes your throat. You can get ideas from the recipes section - see here. If you get a cough attack, keep sipping on some water or put a small cinnamon stick in your mouth & keep sucking. Rub warm mustard oil on your throat. The above may help you temporarily. You must make a shift in your long term lifestyle because long cough means toxin overload. For starters, shift to a fruits-only regime from the time you wake up till noon. No restriction on quantity, eat as much as hunger demands. Eat seasonal, fresh, local fruits. Eat as is or make fruit smoothies (dairy free, sugar free) or juices at home.....Coconut water, nimboo paani, vegetable juices should be easy for you to add to your diet. Eat a raw veggie salad with your lunch & dinner. Eat only if you feel hungry. Else let the body focus on cleaning up. Avoid foods generally known as unhealthy - i.e. packaged foods, outside foods, oily, fried foods, sweets, etc. They all add to the toxic overload whereas right now you need to reduce it. A good quality sleep is very necessary for 'sound' health. But very often not only is the person who is snoring but also the person next to them is affected by this 'sound' :) The reason is Mucus membranes have become inflamed and mucus has accumulated in the body When excess is built up in the respiratory tract, snoring can happen, This is often combined with enlarged tonsils or adenoids particularly in children. All these can be attributed to excess toxins in the body built up over time due to a wrong lifestyle. The body builds up mucus against the toxins as a protective measure, More often than not, this can be attributed to a faulty diet high in starches, dairy, meat and other cooked foods. These foods not only cause inflammation in the body leading to mucus build up but also lead to weight gain. Diet should be inclusive of:- 1)Swap refined carb sources for whole grains. 2)Load up your diet with fruits and vegetables. 3)Stay away from trans fats as they are one of the biggest culprits of growing instances of obesity globally. 4)Sugar intake along with fried foods should be avoided. 5) Liquids should be a part of the diet. 6) Frequent meals should be preferred instead of heavy meals. 7) Dinner should not be the heaviest meal as it contributes towards obesity. 8)Along with the diet exercise should be given prime importance.
I have been trying to follow from last one year. My problems are endometriosis, low BP, excessive fatigue, low digestive fire, hair fall, under lying hypothyroidism. In past one year my condition definitely improved but still not fully recovered. I am assuming it is your eye. Based on the limited information, it is difficult to ascertain the cause. In the short term you can do two things: First, cucumber poultice - put grated cucumber on your closed eyes for 4-5 minutes. Do this every couple of hours Second, put a few drops of pure rose water in cool purified water and wash your eyes once every 2 hours. You can alternate between both options. Please see a competent doctor if symptoms persist.
I suffer from Hypothyroid... I have tried many possible ways of reducing my weight.... I have done dieting ( had 1 kg oranges and 14 egg white a day and bhindi ki sabji only for 3 months straight and 42 almonds)... I have been doing cardio for 4 times a week which include running 5km or 10 km... But somewhere the results are not positive... Given I have extensive traveling... One week of skipping exercise cause weight gain... Can any body help?

There need not be extreme diets of the type you mentioned. Simply do changes to align with Natural Laws and the rest will follow. Some time ago I was discussing the same with a colleague. She did the changes and her biggest surprise was shedding weight which she told me was very difficult for thyroid patients. Here are a few things that you should start with - 1. Eat only fruits till noon. 2. Drop non veg and dairy. 3. Eat generous amount of raw veggies salad with every cooked meal. 4. Drink coconut water, fruit juices, vegetable juices, nimboo paani. No packaged drinks. 5. Eat simple home cooked food. 6. Very important - Work on ur stress. Nothing will work if u are not calm. If you need more help, please let me know.

Basically what ro purifier does is making your body adapted and used to it so if accidentally or in some circumstances where ro water is not available you drink normal water ,your body doesn't responds nicely to that.you might suffer upset stomach.you would require mineral water every time you are outdoors. You can opt for normal aqua guard purifier,as it won't make your body less immune. Our body has it's methods to deal with usual issues. So I would highly suggest not to go for ro water if there are young children in your home. Let their immune system build stronger by adapting to nature and creating antibodies . Our body can heal on itself. Try to maintain healthy diet and stay connected to nature. Stay healthy.

During our grandparents days this kind of problems are very very rare or unusual Because they never used Tooth paste or powder which is chemical involved. If you notice their tooth and gums are so strong, never had cavity issues or any dental fluorosis. Now lots of toothpaste companies are growing up, oral wash, dental hospitals are more like tea shops in every street. If we brush our teeth with neem stick or baniyan tree stick this dental fluorosis problem will slowly disappear. Start brushing with this stick weekly once then slowly increase the days. also you can use banana skin, by rubbing on the teeth which not only reduce the white spots but also increase the whitish of the teeth from the yellowish. Consumption of fruits in the mashed form in case of dental issues like banana, mangoes, strawberries and oranges. Consumption of vegetables especially green leafy that can be pureed should be taken. Consumption of good amount of water ( 10 glasses) is a good idea, fresh juices, herbal tea and other non caffeinated drinks are the best. Also consumption of nuts in powdered form or soaked form can be preferred.

Adenomyosis is a condition where the uterine lining also encroaches the muscles of the uterus and hence this extra growth leads to all the symptoms that are being experienced. We have not got a similar case here, but in nature cure the cause for all the issues is a toxin body where it accumulates the toxins that does not see a channel for release. The condition when Adenomyosis happens is also due to the cause that there is a high estrogen build up in the body. There is more than what the organs have naturally produced for you as a female. When there is an extra Harmone, this build us in the liver and clogs it. Overtime when liver cannot take the brunt of things, it channels it to the uterus. Stevia is a leaf extract from a South American plant with the same name. It comes in powdered form, granules and also as tablets. This is a good healthy substitute for a diabetic person during the initial period when making a lifestyle change. Specially when trying to avoid all forms of refined sugar. This is best to beat sweet cravings and use in drinks in place of refined sugar. Remember the healthy food by ORS - Original, Regional and Seasonal. Stevia is best if you are in North America and Olive oil if you are in a Mediterranean Country.

Hi. Great that she eats a lot of fruits. Make sure they are eaten on an empty stomach and alone. Don’t mix with any other foods like dairy or cooked food or veggies. Don’t eat soon after cooked meal. Eat melons separately, don’t even mix with any other fruits. Give her lemon water 2-3 times a day - half a lemon’s juice diluted with half a glass of water (less if she can accept). Add few drops of ginger juice and pinch of haldi too. Bel sharbat and coconut water will also help. Keep her off dairy, non veg, biscuits, bread, jam, toffee, chocolate, etc. Try to reduce wheat - give rice, dosas, dal based chillas instead. Put rose water packs on her tummy and forehead. Let her relax. Give her lots of comfort and let her know she’s a strong girl. She’ll feel better soon. Take care.

Experts have answered the how to stay healthy part. I would like to add few to that. Immunity is a very misunderstood word. Body eliminates toxins when it accumulates and the frequency depends on the vitality ( energy that is available to be used to perform various actions in the body). Immunity in medical terms means the body must not get cold cough or other forms of eliminations. If it happens they suppress it with meds and ensures that any discomfort is removed from the surface while the underlying issue is not addressed. This is the meaning of immunity. We educate a healthy lifestyle here and also throw light on why body eliminates and why it’s okay to not be scared of eliminations. We don’t live in a sterile environment. We breathe polluted air, we drink polluted water, we do have negative thoughts, we are surrounded by chemicals that touch the skin, we eat contaminated food, we do indulge in social events even if it’s occasional.. etc. As the body becomes more and more efficient with a good lifestyle, it will also increase the power to throw away junk when the body encounters it. So unless you understand these, you might also think that living a healthy lifestyle does not increase the ‘immunity’. Hence this is a misunderstanding. A healthy lifestyle aims to get us back to the way body expects us to live in order to function efficiently.
