Milk is beneficial for weight loss?

Hello, We get milk from mammals like cow ,buffalo which is not for human consumption. It is produced in their bodies for their baby mammals, to meet their food and nutritional requirements. Since it is not meant for human body,so it is not digested properly by human digestive system which in turn may result in some health issues. So,in my opinion milk is not suitable for weight loss. If you want to lose weight, you can achieve that by being on natural plant based foods. Never compromise for your breakfast. Have a healthy breakfast everyday. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Avoid tea and coffee. Avoid wheat, maida, white sugar, rice, biscuits, jam, cookies. Have whole grains like barley, beans, nuts, sprouts. Have green leafy fresh veggies like spinach, cabbage. Have fresh fruits like pomegranate, banana, papaya. Drink a good amount of water throughout the day. Do exercise and yoga regularly.

Namaste, Hypertension is elevated pressure of the blood in the arteries. The increase in blood pressure depends upon a person’s age, physical and mental activities, family history, and diet. Normal blood pressure of a healthy adult individual. Unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyles are the causes of hypertension today. Most of the food items that we consume – fast foods or items packed with preservatives and chemicals – create digestive problems in the body. Impaired digestion leads to accumulation of ama (toxins), which further lead to the high blood pressure. Additionally, stress, anxiety and negative mental feelings also cause increase in blood pressure. Other causes could be history of BP in the family, obesity, lack of exercise, consumption of high-fat and low-fiber diet, excessive intake of tea, coffee, and refined foods, etc. Increase use of garlic, lemon, parsley, Indian gooseberry (amla), watermelon, grapefruit, skim milk and cottage cheese. Regular exercise is one of the best ways to lower blood pressure; brisk walking, jogging, swimming and athletics are good options. Laughter is the best medicine, as it relieves stress and anxiety, which are the main causes of high blood pressure in today’s lifestyle. Make a juice of 3-4 garlic cloves, 10-12 basil leaves, and one fourth cup of of wheat grass. Have once a day. Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Weight loss: Morning take lukewarm lime juice water one glass by adding 1/4th tea spoon of pepper powder and 1 spoon juice of ginger and drink it and go for a brisk walk. Do this for 48 days and see the improvement. Thanks..

Irregularity in the period happens when the body becomes insulin resistant due to the action pancreas which releases insulin becomes sluggish. The lifestyle which is filled with complex food items, sedentary lifestyle and toxic food habits lead to hampering our normal physiological cycle. During irregular periods we tend to miss out on our ovulation days where the egg is completely ready to fertilize with sperm and automatically our conceiving chances reduce, that is why we have to correct the menstrual cycle in order to conceive. Taking a step in a holistic manner increases our metabolisation and help in strengthening our body. Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Take one teaspoon of methi seeds in the morning with warm water to increase insulin sensitivity which will help in regularising menstrual cycle. Have two dates very time with your breakfast to increase the iron content and one glass of jaggery water with one tablespoon of lemon. Beetroot is a very good source of folic acid have them with your salad an hour before a meal, folic acid increases the rate of conceiving. Spinach and tomato juice is also a good idea for increasing folic acid content. Exercise: Surynamakar helps in increasing the blood circulation doing 12 sets will help, start with 6 if you are a beginner. Squats help in strengthening your uterine muscle, 10-15 times at one time will help in increasing uterus muscle tonicity. Cobra pose helps increase blood circulation in the pelvic region. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.15-minute relaxing meditation with the help of light music before sleep will help you in relaxing. Pelvic massages are very helpful in conceiving, massage your pelvic region with coconut or almond oil for 10-15 minutes in order to increase conceiving rate. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you Thank you.

Hello, My son's age is 24 and weight is 114 How can I help him reduce this?
Dr. Sukan Rajpurohit
11:58 AM | 09-09-2020
Hello Renu, At the young age of 24 and 114 Kg of weight, it can be concluded that your son may be suffering from obesity. Major reasons that cause obesity are usually unhealthy eating habits, sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise. There may be other reasons like hypothyroidism etc which may lead a person to be obese or overweight. Following is the advice that I would like to recommend your son which may help him in managing him a healthy weight. 1. Dietary advice: Lukewarm water every morning with honey and lemon has been known to help cut down weight in a healthy way. Intermittent fasting will help him to cut down his weight. Strong control on food with too much fat or junk food, in general, is necessary also a plant-based vegan diet might help him lose an extra pound or two. Controlled portion sizes will help him to not overeat something he loves 2. Physical advice: Walking or any form of a simple exercise followed by gradual heavy exercises or gym will aid in the faster loss of weight. Yoga, especially surya namaskar will help him in weight loss. Pranayam or any form of breathing exercise will increase metabolism and aid in fat loss. 3. Mental advice: Excessive eating can also be triggered by mental troubles like anxiety etc. it is important to have a mental well being in order to have a physical well being. Meditation daily for 30- 40 minutes will help him to calm down and focus on his goals and ponder on himself. Walking daily morning in sun for 30 minutes has been proven to give a boost to the mood as well as day and is also good for bones. 4. Routine advice: Proper sleep is necessary. Less will trigger stress and more will add on to bad mental and physical well being. Greens are necessary in the diet. Less fatty and oily food. Taking care of cardiovascular health is important as obesity may have long term effects on the heart as well as the cardiovascular system. I hope I have covered all your points and concerns. Do comment or let me know if you’re in doubt. Dr. Sukan M. Rajpurohit B.H.M.S (Mumbai) M.P.H (Gandhinagar)

Hello Saba, As far as the cooking oil is considered, it is best to use the cold pressed oil for cooking. All your health issues are inter-related. PCOD is the reason for irregular periods and weight gain as it results in hormonal imbalances. Hair problems and skin issues occur as a result of this hormonal imbalances. Hence, it is necessary to treat the root cause for achieving overall good health. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, both the problems can be cured naturally. Foods to eat Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This drink will boost the metabolism in the morning and also will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Have flax seeds. Drink green tea twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and the other before sleeping in the night. Cook oil-free or use cold-pressed oil. Replace white rice with brown rice. Eat the only plant-based natural raw foods. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Choose seasonal fruits and vegetables to eat. Eat sprouts, nuts, salads, beans to fulfil the nutritional requirements of the body. Foods to avoid- Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc. Avoid animal foods. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid processed foods, packaged foods, oily foods, and spicy foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Exercise Exercising is very important to improve the metabolism of the body which becomes very slow in thyroid patients. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, chakra asana, paschimottan asana daily. Do kapalbhati pranayam daily. Practice ujjayi Pranayam and bhramri pranayam. They are very effective for thyroid. Sleep Proper sleep is very important to maintain the circadian rhythm which affects the hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Thank you.
I want to loose weight but I have a problem My thyroid TSH reading is 5. 92. Pls suggest what to do.

Hello Vartika, Hypothyroid happens due to what we have been putting in our body, which is eating a tamasic diet (adulterated, rotten and unhealthy junk is considered as tamasic). In this case, when we load our body with this kind of food, our metabolism becomes sluggish, "hypo" thyroid happens. Here, our body starts pushing on more to reach an optimal level of functioning. Now as our boy already in a sluggish state, the immunity is weakened. Our metabolism is surely going to become slow leading to low metabolism and difficulty in losing weight. The main thing to treat this multidimensional illness should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep, and exercise which amalgamate for good health and reach your optimal solution. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake for at least one month and refrain from something oil-based. One inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water with one tablespoon lemon, boil them for 5-10 minutes. Consume this mixture during evening time to accelerate metabolism. High selenium diet which is peanuts, almonds, mushroom, etc helps to increase the function of the thyroid. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Cat and Cow pose helps in increasing the function of the thyroid gland. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you. Thank you.

Hi there! My name is Brijesh. I am 30 yrs old. I've been suffering from hair loss from past few years. I have tried allopathy and homeopathy too but it didn't work out for me. Now I have lost almost all hair in the mid portion of my head. How can I stop my hair loss and what should I do for regrowth. Please suggest me any effective remedy. Thank you!!

08:04 PM | 21-04-2020
hello Brijesh, Yes, we can definitely work on your hair loss with proper diet and lifestyle you can achieve healthy quality hair. Protein intake being low is the cause for decreased hair growth, as our hair is made up of proteins. Eating a low-quality diet with complex carbs also does not allow protein in the food to get absorbed. Continuous hair fall happens because of the inflammation of the body's defense mechanism triggering to protect our body that is why it is showing symptoms in all areas. Hence we need a multidimensional solution, in order to treat hair growth problems, it should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep and exercise which amalgamate for good health. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Proteins in the form of fruits and vegetables, seeds like chia and flax also have good proteins, and will be light on the stomach and will help in complete absorption. A mineral-rich diet addition like carrots, apples, guavas, cashews for your teeth will help in controlling the decay soon. Hair packs which you should try for hair fall and grey: 1. Onion juice helps in increasing hair quality. 2. Massage hair with coconut oil with aloe vera gel natural extract to improve blood circulation in hair. 3. Methi seeds powder mixed in water helps in giving shiny hair and treat the hair greying effectively. Exercise: Rubbing nails of both hands with each other tends to increase blood circulation in the scalp. This leads to show healthy effects on hair. Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. What is intermittent fasting for weight loss and the right method (step wise) to be followed?
Nikita Mishra
12:46 PM | 06-10-2020
Hello Harvinder, For losing weight, lifestyle and habits have to be changed. It can not be achieved just by intermittent fasting. Weight loss becomes difficult when we don't know the correct method and follow the wrong method for losing weight. The most important thing for achieving weight loss is determination. If you are determined for losing those extra pounds then you will surely achieve it. Diet plays an important role in weight loss or weight gain. Along with the diet, exercise is also equally important. Diet Start the day with a glass of warm water with fresh lemon juice in it. This will help to increase the metabolism of the body. Have only plant-based natural diet. Have your dinner at around 7 pm and don't eat anything until 8 am of the next day morning. This is also a type of intermittent fasting which is effective in weight loss. Include proteins in your diet. Have sprouts, nuts, beans and dry fruits. Drink coconut water. Cook oil-free. Avoid packaged, processed and oily foods. Eat fresh, seasonal and locally available fruits and vegetables. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated. Exercise Along with the diet, exercising is also necessary for weight loss. Start the day with jogging for atleast 20min. After that do plank for about 5minutes. Then, practice yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, chakra asana, paschimottan asana and padahasta asana. Do suryanamaskar daily. Practice kapalbhati pranayam and anulom-vilom pranayam regularly. Sleep Sleeping is also essential for a healthy body. Sometimes lack if sleep also leads to weight gain. So, it is important to have good quality sleep daily. Hence, take proper sleep of atleast 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you

I have a problem of dandruff and by the way hair loss also ,kindly suggest me to get rid of this problems
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
10:48 AM | 10-08-2019
Namaste Saikrishna The dandruff is nothing but excessive toxins coming out of your scalp. 1 A very simple routine I usually suggest to people with this issue is massage your scalp with sesame oil and let it soak in for half an hour. 2 Cut a lemon and start massaging the lemon juice in your scalp. Cover the whole scalp area with the lemon juice. There will be some burning sensation for a couple of seconds. Let it stay for 30 mts. Then wash with a shikakai paste. 3 Repeat this procedure once a week till your dandruff stops recurring. This was an external remedy. For a permanent solution you have to look towards internal cleansing. The cleaner your system is, there will be no dandruff. What could you do for internal cleaning? Foods to be removed 1 All packaged and processed outside food-like substances. 2 Refined flour and refined oil 3 All types of stimulants like tea and coffee. If you drink alcohol then that too must be stopped. 4 All overcooked, deep-fried oily food. Foods to be included 1 Fresh locally grown seasonal fruits - 50% of daily intake 2 Fresh seasonal vegetables and greens - 35% of daily intake 3 Grains - soaked or sprouted or steamed - 10 % of daily intake 4 soaked nuts and seeds - 5% of daily intake And understand this - it is not only the food that influences your quality of blood but many other things too matter equally. 1 Learn Pranayam and yoga for relaxing your mind, improving your flexibility and activating your lymphatic system. 2 Get good sun exposure either in the early hours of the morning or a couple of hours before sunset. 3 Get in touch with Mother Earth. Do some gardening with your hands or at least walk barefoot on sand or mud. Sit in parks or lie on the ground or lawns and relax. 4 Keep an eye on your bowel movement. See to it that your bowels are always functioning normally. Eliminate larger quantities than what you eat. 5 Rest and relax well. Sleep in the earlier part of the night and sleep through the night. Wake up before or with the sun. 6 Be well hydrated. Consume a lot of juicy fruits veggies and greens to hydrate yourself well. 7 Get your body moving, do yoga or participate in any outdoor sport, walk or do some gardening. Moving your body will support the removal of toxins and free flow of vitality 8 Be happy always. Don’t let life’s negativities to bog you down. Always be positive. Follow these principles and as you go on eliminating toxins and discarding all damaged unhealthy tissues you will start seeing a great change in your overall health. Hi, I can totally understand your concern about your daughter's weight. But, weight does not define her health. A person is in good health if she is sleeping well, eliminating properly, absorbing well and is physically active. Ensure that she is following the below points Consuming raw vegetables, fruits . A lot of kid friendly recipes are there on this platform. Example- https://www.wellcure.com/recipes/529/raw-vegetables-chaat Eliminate all dairy and animal foods from her diet. These days kids are exposed to lot of chemicals through packed and processed foods. All these foods take a toll on the digestive system. The child consuming these foods also doesnot experience hunger and we feed him/her according to the clock on the wall( according to time) rather than hunger. If she is more physically active, plays in nature her body would automatically regain balance. Avoid use electronic gadgets especially at meal times. Sleep and rest are equally important. The body rests and repairs at this point. Apart from the above food becomes appealing if the same food is eaten by the adults of the house as well as it is seved in an interesting way . Probably cut in different sizes, shapes or decorated with fruit piece or vegetable piece in a glass plate or glass bowl. Wishing You good Health Always! Thank you Regards

Namaste Rushab Burge The main cause for premature loss of hair is just like premature aging of our body. Both are results of low vitality and high level of toxaemia in the body. It can be a sign of inherited genetic weakness too. This can be reversed by following a completely nature based lifestyle and food habits. And the reversal will take time but it can always happen. 1 Learn pranayam and yoga for relaxing your mind, improving your flexibility and activating your lymphatic system. 2 Get good sun exposure either in the early hours of the morning or a couple of hours before sunset. 3 Get in touch with Mother Earth. Do some gardening with your hands or atleast walk barefoot on sand or mud. Consume lot of juicy fruits veggies and greens to hydrate yourself well. 7 Start your day with juicy seasonal and local fresh fruits. Start as late in the morning as possible. Consume around 50% of fruits 35% of veggies 10 % of grains or sprouts and 5 % of nuts. Finish your last meal before the sun sets. Don’t eat if you are not hungry and never over eat . Try to be on raw food atleast 80%. 8 Be happy always. Don’t let life’s negativities to bog you down. Always be positive. Follow these principles and as you go on eliminating toxins and discarding all damaged unhealthy tissues you will start seeing a great change in your overall health. Slowly with time new tissues will build up and as your hair go into the renewal mode you will see more of black hairs coming out. This procedure could take a couple of years to show results..... so be patient. Be healthy be happy always Swati Dhariwal Nature Cure Practitioner
