Hello, I suggest you to advise him to take early morning water on empty stomach, it will help him to activate his organs and provide proper detoxification as well as helps in cleansing digestive and intestinal tract. After consuming at least 2-3 glasses of water early morning he should continue the water intake as usual one glass of water half an hour before and after meals and reduce the quantity of water as the day passes. Try to consume less water in night after meals because it will interfere in assimilation and digestion of food in the night, if he follows 2-3 liter of water intake in the following manner he will not face any issues with sleep in the night. Thank you, Dr. Ruchika Sharma

Can roasted chana be a healthy snacks for a person seeking health from autoimmune disease?
Smitha Hemadri
12:32 PM | 16-09-2019
I suggest soaked Channa or fruits for snacks instead of roasted Channa that’s also loaded with refined salts and possibly refined oils. Snacking is not suggested unless you are hungry. Auto immune issues are majorly GUT related. The filters in the intestines tear and food particles in its undigested state enter the blood stream. The body attacks the invading object in the blood. Hence you see many auto immune issues. To heal this condition., It is best that you start cleaning the GUT, which in turn will clean the liver, which in turn will be ready to absorb and deliver nutrients throughout the body and eventually cleaning the intestine as well. If the previous organs in the process have done their job, the colon will not have to take a hit. it’s very important that the liver starts doing its job to heal any kind of intestinal issues/organs of excretion so that the unwanted food , pathogens and heavy metals doesn’t end up in the intestines and colon. Ideally these are supposed to thrown out naturally after altering its state, but when they end up as-is, they attract more issues in the colon which the colon might not be geared up to do When body organs are clean, they do their job perfectly well. With a right lifestyle this can be achieved . You must switch to a low fat plant based lifestyle. Low fat here because fats also come in low % from raw foods like fruits vegetables and greens. Give rest to the GUT by juicing majorly for few days with green fruit or veg juices only in abundance like it’s your meal. Take water enema for a month under nature cure expert guidance without interfering with your normal bowel movements Stop the consumption of dairy eggs meat seafood Stop all forms of fats ( oils , grease , nuts seeds ) that will add load to an already compromised liver Stop all forms of foods that are purchased Go raw on greens, fruits majorly for one full month/ 2 months as conditions improve Cooked food post that has to be only once a day without using oils or ghee with 30% grains that are gluten free and oilfree, unpolished, unrefined Wheat and foods with maida wheat has to be avoided Sugar and processed sweetners avoided Place a cold wet towel daily on the abdomen for 30 mins. Start with 5 mins hot towel and 25 mins cold Exposure to sunlight for 30 mins Practice mental peace, leading a stress free life, free of any form of negativity Let us know if you have any questions Be blessed Smitha Hemadri (educator of natural healing practices)

First understand that if a person is on diet already them being on less food could trigger the craving so - Don’t ask them repeatedly to eat. -provide them a balanced healthy food on time. -Don’t force them to have cheat meal in parties, instead help them in picking healthy ones. -Motivate them to follow the diet plan strictly,if they are hungry in between ask them to have fresh fruits , fruit juices, salads, nuts.

Bath or shower at least once a day, Use lukewarm water. Epsom salt water bath or normal saltwater bath then followed by bath in lukewarm water. Mud bath helps to prevent inflammation. Avoid scrubbing the skin use gentle cleansers instead of soaps Try different types of medicinal baths using neem leaves, eucalyptus leaves etc., Apply natural moisturizers like coconut oil, sunflower oil, aloe vera etc. Apply honey in cracked /oozing skin to prevent infection and inflammation and for its healing property. It’s an inflammatory condition so prefer anti-inflammatory food like, beans, lentils, bright colored fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables. Add cinnamon and turmeric in your food. practice, asanas, pranayamas and meditation to reduce stress- an important factor for stress-related dermatitis. Strictly avoid non-veg, dairy products, preserved food items, pickles, Maida, sugar, fried and fast food items. Drink plenty of water. Namasthe!
What's the best time to eat sprouts? Can they be eaten along with a cooked meal? And is it ok to have sprouts at night, may be a sprout salad dinner? Heard sprouts at night cause gas formation.
Ankur
09:56 AM | 29-03-2019
When legumes are sprouted they become live food plus water rich. Nutritionally they become very rich due to the sprouting process. Their digestibility also increases due to the higher level of enzymes. Sprout can be consumed in salads or in a cooked meal. Salads are the best options but in cooked food, they are better than pulses. The important thing to remember is that chewing is a critical part of their digestion gas issues are outcome of our poor chewing habits. Other reason is poor food combinations. In cooked meals you can use sprouts in khichdi, make dal or put it in rice.
I am having burp problem. I have gas problem very much. There are too much Burps. Pls tell me remedies.
Yati
05:55 PM | 17-01-2019
There are no quick-fixes to chronic medical condition. Too much of gas/burps is a signal your body is giving that everything is not alright inside you. Burp can have many causes. Common among them is eating or drinking too fast or too much leading to improper digestion (indigestion can itself have many causes). Eating or drinking too fast without ample chewing will mean that the food reaches stomach without adequate amount of saliva (amylase), which is the first step of chemical process of digestion. Having missed this vital step food will not digest properly and the indigested food will start putrefying in the stomach/intestines and create flatulence which will find its way out either through burps or farts. And this inconvenience is just the beginning of complications. An unhealthy stomach leads to most of chronic diseases. Take care in what you eat and how much you eat. Keep yourself off of oil, dairy, meat and refined items like sugar and salt (minimum intake if you can't eliminate) for three days, eat small portions of meal, stay hydrated, get ample sleep, go for a long walk (minimum 1 hr) and feel the change. Don't drink water within 2hrs after and 1 hour before any meal. Thanks
Can you please share natural body butter options... Also wanted to know why coconut oil is not as effective in winters? I have loads of fruits and veggies but still have dry skin.
Yachna Midha
11:59 AM | 04-09-2018
The key to using oils is to use them on moist skin. Oils get absorbed when mixed with water. That’s why we steam our faces post massage during a facial. Similarly we get our scalps steamed post a massage in a salon. So always use coconut oil or any other oil of choice right after shower, on moist skin. Massage it in. Your skin will become silky smooth.
Hello, My son's age is 24 and weight is 114 How can I help him reduce this?
Dr. Sukan Rajpurohit
11:58 AM | 09-09-2020
Hello Renu, At the young age of 24 and 114 Kg of weight, it can be concluded that your son may be suffering from obesity. Major reasons that cause obesity are usually unhealthy eating habits, sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise. There may be other reasons like hypothyroidism etc which may lead a person to be obese or overweight. Following is the advice that I would like to recommend your son which may help him in managing him a healthy weight. 1. Dietary advice: Lukewarm water every morning with honey and lemon has been known to help cut down weight in a healthy way. Intermittent fasting will help him to cut down his weight. Strong control on food with too much fat or junk food, in general, is necessary also a plant-based vegan diet might help him lose an extra pound or two. Controlled portion sizes will help him to not overeat something he loves 2. Physical advice: Walking or any form of a simple exercise followed by gradual heavy exercises or gym will aid in the faster loss of weight. Yoga, especially surya namaskar will help him in weight loss. Pranayam or any form of breathing exercise will increase metabolism and aid in fat loss. 3. Mental advice: Excessive eating can also be triggered by mental troubles like anxiety etc. it is important to have a mental well being in order to have a physical well being. Meditation daily for 30- 40 minutes will help him to calm down and focus on his goals and ponder on himself. Walking daily morning in sun for 30 minutes has been proven to give a boost to the mood as well as day and is also good for bones. 4. Routine advice: Proper sleep is necessary. Less will trigger stress and more will add on to bad mental and physical well being. Greens are necessary in the diet. Less fatty and oily food. Taking care of cardiovascular health is important as obesity may have long term effects on the heart as well as the cardiovascular system. I hope I have covered all your points and concerns. Do comment or let me know if you’re in doubt. Dr. Sukan M. Rajpurohit B.H.M.S (Mumbai) M.P.H (Gandhinagar)
First left chest pain from acidity now armpit and shoulder pain. What to do help please?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
09:39 PM | 11-06-2020
Hello P Hampannavar, Radiating pain from acidity is just pointing towards acidity which can be improvised with a good diet. Regular consumption of fatty diet and highly spiced food leads to indigestion which causes gastric trouble which includes acidity which happens due to inflammation. Toxins are the primary cause of gastric trouble. Our sedentary lifestyle also plays a role in this picture. What needs to be taken care of now is the fact that a major change in lifestyle and diet will be the cure of the problem. In digestive problems with the consumption of this kind of food, the problem is, from the oesophagus to rectum everything is disturbed. The toxins are in the body, call it to stomach ulcers or gastritis, they relate to the same cause. With a healthy change in routine, what makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, that we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing future relapses. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Including a fiber-rich food item that helps in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc. which have a good amount of fiber in them. Have one tomato with black pepper in the evening time an hour before dinner. During evening time, take an inch of ginger and boil in two cups of water with half a teaspoon of turmeric and honey, this will help in beating inflammation caused by indigestion. Exercise: Sitting in the position of Vajraasana will help in the treatment of indigestion. After your meals practice, this poses for better digestion and easy stools. A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes helps in treating your body to its level best. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you Thank you.
Can you please suggest a healthy Diabetes diet plan?
Vijai Pawar
07:53 PM | 13-01-2020
Dear health seeker Jayasree, Diabetes is a mother of all disease, and India is a world capital of this dreaded disease, not for nothing, our eating habits combined with our socialistic obligations of treating our guests with tea, coffee and snacks at any time contribute largely towards its vast clientele. Diabetes is confessedly not cured by allopathy. To manage the situation, they supply insulin from an external source- an animal product in a state where the pancreas fails to secrete it. In this case, they are at a loss not to pin it down on some bacilli, bacteria, germ etc. Nor do they care to study the cause and remove it. In general, the causes of this can be any or a group of the following;- 1. The pancreas has been so much overworked that it has struck work.- 2. The basic material out of which the pancreas can produce insulin is not available in the body tissues and fluids- 3. That centre in the brain that controls the activities of the pancreas is damaged either owing to degeneration or trauma[ injury] Whatever be the case, our universal Medicine, maybe either Bilva Patra [leaves] or grass. A regular daily intake of any of these or alternatively, the trouble would be totally relieved. Every grain [ whole ] contains insulin in its germ [ger ], but it is lost to the modern eater. In Polished rice, atta this valuable part is lost, secondly it is lost in cooking, even if it be the whole grain, because it is destroyed at a temp. of 50 Deg c and 55 deg c and cooking, the simplest boiling, it is at a temp. of 100 deg c. Other methods of cooking subject the food to a higher temp. and obviously that natural source of insulin is unavailable to the eater. To rule out any shortfall, coarse grains millet, ragi, jowar, oats may be taken in very small amounts along with 80 % vegetables raw and cooked, without oil spices and condiments as per the law of Vital Economy. Combined with other Nature Cure tenets like brisk walking, sunbathing ,spinal baths , non-violent pranayama, the disease of diabetes is radically curable in quick little time, but faith, fearlessness and Grace of God is an integral part. Be well that you may be good be good that you may be well Be healthy and happy! V.S.Pawar Member Indian institute of natural therapeutics 1980

I have diagnosed achlacia cardia what is treatment other than surgery
Dr Sangeeth Somanadhap...
04:12 PM | 03-01-2020
The oesophagus is the tube, which is a part of the GUT, that carries food from the throat to the stomach. Achalasia cardia is a severe health condition that affects your oesophagus. The lower oesophagal sphincter (LES) is a muscular ring that closes off the oesophagus from the stomach. The sphincter gets into action whenever there is a food movement from mouth to the stomach. If you have achalasia, your LES fails to open up during swallowing, which it’s supposed to do. This leads to a backup of food within your oesophagus. This condition can be related to damaged nerves in your oesophagus. It can also be due to damage to the LES. Achalasia usually occurs later part or elderly age group, but sometimes it can also occur in children. Individuals who are middle-aged and older are at higher risk for the condition. Achalasia is also more common in people with autoimmune disorders. People with achalasia have a problem in swallowing or feel like food is stuck into their oesophagus. This condition is also called dysphagia. These symptoms can cause coughing and raise the risk of aspiration or inhaling or choking on food. Other symptoms might include pain or discomfort, weight loss, heartburn or even intense pain or discomfort after eating. Some natural ways to manage it: Don't Overeat - Avoid overeating. In Naturopathic philosophy we say that eat half stomach with solid food, quarter with water/liquids and quarter should be kept empty. Also, make a point to avoid heavy meals and too many oily foods or spices ( north Indian curries especially). Lose weight - Sometimes fat accumulation on the abdomen could push the intestines or abdominal structures downwards and could possibly cause a condition called hiatus hernia. Hence losing weight must be a very important measure to be undertaken if you are overweight. Consume low carbs - Consumption of large quantity of carbs could result in poor digestion in the GUT. It is always wise to consume in less quantity. Avoid coffee/alcohol/carbonated drinks. Avoiding these could help too. Eat less of chocolates and drink less citrus fruit juices. Avoid eating raw onions if at all you have a habit. Give at least three hours of time gap between your dinner and sleep. Keep your head in an elevated position when you sleep.

Hi, The weight does not define health. Yes, your weight is on a higher side. We are not looking at weight loss. Fad diets may provide weight loss for a short duration and it then impacts your energy levels etc. When we eat and live a healthy lifestyle weight is automatically in control. It is only when our lifestyle, which is our food consumption, sleep, physical activity and stress are in balance would we experience a healthy and disease-free life. To help you with this you could consult any of our health coaches onhttps://www.wellcure.com/body-wisdom/339/nature-nurtures-program-wellcure-your-natural-health-coach. Following lifestyle changes are recommended Include fresh fruits and raw vegetables as a part of your daily regime. All micronutrients are provided which are essential in many biochemical activities of the body. Avoid all animal foods, dairy, packed, processed, oily and sugary foods. They are empty calories. Provide no nutrition to the body. All these create a toxic load on the system and make elimination and absorption difficult. Avoid caffeine and tobacco whether in tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking or even chocolates. They all cut down your appetite and lead to other health consequences. Physical activity is important. It releases good hormones in the body. In a relaxed state, the body is able to function better. Proper rest and sleep are vital. This helps the body repair and rejuvenate. Regular elimination of bowels from the body is essential. Exposure to sunshine and nature. A calm and peaceful mind will have a healthy gut. Regular deep breathing is helpful in reducing stress hormones in the body. Avoid anxiety and worry. This constantly raises the stress hormones in the body and the body cannot perform its functions optimally. Wishing you Good Health Always! Thank you Wishing you good Health Always! Thank you Regards
