Hello User, Blood pressure increases when blood vessels become narrowed due to the accumulation of toxins like cholesterol. Due a narrow lumen, pressure is increased to supply the blood in all the body tissues. However, it can be cured by making some changes in diet and lifestyle. Also, mental health is equally important just like our physical health for a healthy body. Anxiety and hypertension are inter-related. The reason for these problems is the accumulation of toxins in the body which is due to the consumption of high fatty foods, high-stress levels and the wrong lifestyle. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, you can achieve good mental and physical health. Diet Start your day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Include Vitamin C rich foods in your diet like lemon juice, orange juice, amla juice. Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and green leafy vegetables. Eat nuts, sprouts, salads, and dry fruits. Cook oil-free. Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Say no to tea and coffee. Avoid alcohol and tobacco. Avoid carbonated drinks, tea, and coffee. Exercise Exercising is essential to remove the toxins out of the body. Do jogging or walking in the morning. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Perform pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom, kapalbhati and bhastrika pranayam. Take sunrays daily early in the morning. Meditation Meditating regularly is essential for a healthy mental state. Hello User, With our sedentary lifestyle and fatty diet, the legs which are the weight-bearing joint of our body get extra-loaded and this tends to make our body very weak and vulnerable. To protect our body from more damages, we have to protect it with a healthy lifestyle. The reason our body works in harmony is because of the fact that the fluid is present in the body in case of varicose veins it is the blood flowing. This acts as grease in the body which tends to make sure that all the organs have a smooth flow in function. The valve in the veins gets disturbed due to the fact that the cartilage is not getting a sufficient amount of blood circulation. So, our main focus is to make sure that our body gets fluid. Eat: When we eat the right kind of food at the right time we make sure that it is easily absorbed. Let us start our day with a good amount of water.2-3 glasses of warm water help in flushing out the toxins. These toxins which come and make our immunity vulnerable to diseases need to be flushed. Your breakfast should comprise something light, a fruit bowl and after some time a vegetable juice is easy to digest. This will help in the absorption of nutrients easily. Vitamin C helps in regulating blood pressure which eases on the valves of the legs. The consumption of seeds after lunch like a mouth freshener is a very good chance of dealing with it, this is a good way you can rely on to consume seeds, seeds will help in increasing blood quantity and easy flow. Jaggery and dates are also a good addition. Exercise: Let us start with dealing with the exercise part in a broader spectrum, exercising will not only help you in bringing back the comfort but also get a good amount of exercise. 1.After sitting on a chair, raise your legs at a right angle one by one and do it continuously, for 25 times. Do it with one long breath at a time. 2. A brisk walk is something that you can do daily at a slow pace. 3. By sleeping on your back, you do leg raise alternately, this will put more pressure on the muscles. Meditation: Practice mindful meditation. Deal with your stress. Allow positivity to be part of your life. Doing a 15-minute exercise before sleep like deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind, you can use music also for relaxation. A calm mind will lead to a healthier body. Sleep: Getting 7-8 hours of sleep is very essential for the body, during sleep our body repairs itself and rejuvenates us for the whole day. Taking good precautions with diet and exercise which is mandatory-you need another mode of treatment like, Wearing tight stocking till your thighs in your day to day work. Whenever you sleep, keep two pillows beneath your legs, your legs will get good circulation of blood. Avoid standing for too long. Take care, Stay fit.

What are the smart hacks that could help in adopting natural health lifestyle in a bit easier way? Like many people are not able to leave milk tea or eat raw fruits and veggies easily. What steps can help people with a bit weaker will power.
Dr. Stuti Gupta
03:59 AM | 21-02-2021
One can either switch to green tea or to black tea if possible, if not possible there are many alternative plant-based milks available like almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, flax milk, etc. Tea combination of coconut and almond tastes the best. You need to be careful of the amount of tea leaves put for the chai as it demands lesser tea leaves than dairy chai. Raw vegetables can be consumed easily by shredding, fruits can be chopped into small sizes to chew with ease. vegetables and fruits should be consumed as soon as they are cut because nutrients get lost as soon as they are cut and exposed to air. Other simple healthy hacks – Rather than changing your whole life in a single day, make small -small goals each day and stick to them for at least 28 days Look for healthy swaps like roasted makhana, roasted chickpea, roasted soybean instead of packed namkeen, chips and other deep-fried items Engage in healthy group activities – Anything performed in group is always fun and engaging psychologically and socially. So, try to get into walking, cycling, badminton, any other sport of choice and healthy eating habits with family, friends, colleagues together. Be persistent - make achievable health goals, It will keep you motivated. Enjoy the journey - It is important to enjoy the journey rather than beating yourself up for it. If you enjoy something it is more likely you will stick with it for a long time. All the best for your journey Regards, Dr. Stuti Gupta
I have been suffering from miscarriages since past 5 years. Reasons suspected by doctor are thin endometrium & poor egg or sperm quality. (‘y’ chromosome inversion). Any successful stories here with nature cure?
Nikita Mishra
04:29 PM | 01-02-2021
Hello, Thin endometrium indicates hormonal imbalances. Hormonal imbalance leads to improper nourishment of the endometrium which is essential for the preparation of endometrium to carry the foetus. If the endometrium is not prepared properly then it leads to miscarriage. Here are some tips that will help you to achieve overall good health along with the good health of your eggs or ovums. Say no to smoking Smoking permanently speeds up egg loss in the ovaries. The chemicals in cigarettes mutate the DNA in a woman's egg cells, making some of the eggs unsuitable for conception. So, it is best to keep eggs healthy and free of unnecessary chemicals. Manage stress levels Stress can produce hormones such as cortisol and prolactin that can interfere or halt ovulation, which also hinders egg production. Stress-reducing activities such as yoga, meditation, exercise or a warm bath can help keep stress and frustration at bay. Have a healthy diet Healthy foods improve overall health, this includes helping your eggs stay healthy and high quality. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables and fresh, seasonal fruits. Include sprouts, beans, nuts and dry fruits in your diet. Include whole grains in your diet like oats, barley, millets, etc. Yoga Good egg health is aided by oxygen-rich blood flow to the ovaries. Blood flow in the body can quickly decrease from dehydration, so aim to drink atleast 10 glasses of water each day. Yoga is a healthy and relaxing way to improve blood flow. Perform yogasanas such as the lotus pose, child’s pose, reclining hero and seated forward bend. Sleep A good quality sleep is extremely important for maintaining the circadian rhythm. So, have a good quality sleep of atleast 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6am. Read books before sleeping for an improved quality of sleep. Thank you

Hi! I have regular periods but problem is low bleeding flow. I checked with gynecologist they scanned and told your ovum size is small. So can you suggest me natural remedies to overcome this issue?

Hello Sindhu, Low bleeding in periods may have various reasons like anemia or hormonal imbalances or high stress levels apart from ovum problems. Here is what you should do to keep the health of your ovums at best. Sleep Good quality sleep is extremely important for maintaining the circadian rhythm. So, have a good quality sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Read books before sleeping for an improved quality of sleep. Thank you

Hello, Toddlers need about 1,000 calories, 700 mg of calcium, 600 IU of Vitamin D, and 7mg of iron each day to support proper growth. Here are some healthy and practical foods for your baby. Bananas, peaches and other soft fruits Around 1 year, the child starts to develop a pincer grasp which involves pinching and manoeuvring foods with their fingertips as they endeavour to self-feed. This is a great time to introduce finger-friendly foods. Softer fresh fruits are wonderful options for this transitional time and beyond. They not only deliver essential nutrients but also help cement healthy eating habits. Some bananas, strawberries, peaches, or mango and slowly introduce them to your child. Avoid large pieces of fruit as they may pose a choking hazard. Cut grapes into halves or quarters and never feed this to your child whole. Almond milk As your child may be slowly weaning off breast milk, it's a good time to introduce almond milk. It is a great source of protein and bone-building calcium, which also benefits their developing teeth. While you may continue to offer breast milk until 2 years of age or longer, almond milk may also be introduced at mealtimes or as a snack. Oatmeal Little ones won't master the jaw-grinding motion, which helps with proper chewing until they are 4 years old. In the meantime, their food must be mashed or cut up into small easy to chew pieces. Oatmeal is a wonderful option as your child makes this transition into chewing. It is easy to swallow and have an interesting nutritional profile with a hearty heap of proteins, carbs, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. Whole-grain pancakes Pancakes are common among kids and whole grains are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibres. Thus whole grain pancakes are a natural solution to what to serve your child. Avocados Avocados are also fantastic foods to feed. Their impressive nutritional profile supports your child's growth. They are packed with healthy fats which support your child's brain and heart. Steamed broccoli, peas and carrots Steaming vegetables such as broccoli, peas and carrots is an excellent way to introduce your child to this important food group. Broccoli, carrots and peas pack fibers and vitamin C. Carrots contain lutein which supports eye health, while peas pack muscle building proteins. Thank you
