I have a breathing problem? What can I do?
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
05:39 PM | 26-08-2019
Namaste Ambrish When your lungs become weak due to toxins accumulated there you start feeling difficulties in breathing. Environmental pollution, wrong food habits, wrong lifestyle, smoking, stressful lifestyle etc can lead to congestion in the lungs. To clear the congestion you need to change your lifestyle and food habits. where do you start? Start with your food. Start eating clean. Remove all refined flour ,oil, processed sugar, white salt etc from your daily diet. Stop eating outside food. Stop consumption of processed and packaged food like stuffs. Stop milk and milk products, meat, fish, eggs etc What can you eat? Lots of fresh ,locally grown, seasonal fruits. You can start your day everyday with it. Have more fruits for lunch. And let your dinner be a large bowl of salad withlots of greens, sprouted grains or soaked nuts. Finish eating before sunset, so that your body gets enough time to digest, assimilate the nutrients and send the waste towards the exit for elimination. If you continue eating late at night the body doesnt get enough time to do its functions properly. Become active. Go for walks, do yoga or participate in some active sport daily so that you sweat well. This will also improve your metabolism. Learning pranayama will help your lungs get stronger and function better. Connect with nature. Go out in the sun. Get enough exposure to the suns rays, breath fresh air and do some gardening too. Sleep well. rest well. Look into your life for energy vampires. Do you have a stressfull life? Do you have a stressful job? Do you drink alcohol? Do you smoke? If yes for all then stop and change. I wanted to ask all health practitioners, do you recommend vaccination? Why or why not? Kindly present your views.
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
08:44 PM | 20-08-2019
Namaste Akanksha Sharma I don’t believe in vaccination. My son who is 22 has never had any vaccine but unfortunately my daughter had the ones they give at birth and no vaccines after that as I could not go to the right person to help me deliver my baby naturally. Most of my brothers, sisters and nephews aren’t vaccinated. And we are all doing very well....thanks to my father who was an ardent believer in nature. Reasons why we don’t need vaccines There are germs all around us.... in air, water and soil. They are just other creatures of nature just like us. They do not make our bodies their homes unless we create a very congenial environment and provide with food for them to thrive on. They just keep moving in and out without affecting us much if our system is clean and not filled with toxic wastes. How does a vaccine work? The logic the doctors give for how the vaccines work is they introduce the particular organisms into our body in a half dead state in a chemical based medium which is laden with toxic metals and chemicals which otherwise we would never dare to put into the body of a just born. The body then reacts to the foreign matter and develop a resistance towards that particular germ. There are uncountable germs in the environment which could fancy some particular quality in the toxin in your body and decide to thrive there. So How many new vaccines you would need every other month or year to keep the germs from making your body their temporary homes. The best way out of it is live in sync with nature.... eat species specific food, conserve vitality and keep the germs where they belong. A new born is so clean and pure( if you haven’t started poisoning his system from the day he entered your womb) how could we ever have the heart to inject germs and chemical toxins into it in the name of protecting it, but on the contrary we make him more susceptible and vulnerable. Vaccines have come into existence only since a century or so.... but man has lived happily and healthily since time immemorial...... To me vaccinations are no less than a way to take human beings towards mass extinction. Be happy be healthy always Swati Dhariwal Nature Cure Practitioner
I recently interacted with a patient, she is a 12th class student who failed her entrances is very stressed about that. She is taking anti-depressants regularly as advised by her doctor. What can we suggest her to recover from this phase?
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
06:19 AM | 21-08-2019
Namaste Akanksha Sharma The child is still too young to be prescribed medicines. Instead what she needs is counselling. Her parents need to be counselled and adviced to look at her failure in the exam differently. They need to understand that the child has some special quality in her. And am sure as parents they would have noticed or understood about her by now. So ask them to encourage her in that field instead of battling with something she Might not be very comfortable with at the moment. She needs her parents unconditional support and love. They can divert her attention towards what she is good at and she can start involving in it to get back her self esteem. She has all the potential to be what she wants to be. The only thing she needs at the moment is someone to show her just that. And along with this we can look into the physical aspects too as given below. Anxiety, stress or depression is the result of our current and past lifestyle. Due to imbalanced lifestyle which is not at all in sync with nature our body starts accumulating a lot of toxins. The toxins also result in a toxic blood which in turn nourishes our brains. So when the brain is fed by toxic blood it lacks in proper nourishment. So the undernourished brain is not able to function normally or think clearly. This results in confusion, sadness, helplessness anxiety, depression, or any negative trait. So the cure would be a complete change to a healthy lifestyle. The changes should be such that we live completely in sync with nature. Let’s see what changes you need to make in your routine: 1 Go out in the nature. Get sun exposure every morning and evening. The sun lightens the mood. Nourishes the cells. Enriches the blood. Nourishes the nervous system. 2 Breath in fresh air and practice deep breathing. Learn pranayam. This will nourish the blood with pure oxygen. The deeper the breath the lesser the stress or worry or depression. 3 Spend time in nature. Grow some plants and work with bare hands. The more time one spends with the plants and trees, he or she will start feeling more relaxed and less depressed. 4 Eat lots of fresh locally grown seasonal ripe fruits and vegetables. Break the fast first thing in the morning with seasonal juicy fruits and do it as late in the morning as possible. She may have a simple lunch which consists of more veggies and less of whole grains. Dinner could be finished by 6 pm with either fruits or salads with sprouts and greens. Don’t eat after sunset. 5 Get physically active. Learn and practice yoga. It will help to move the toxins faster and help the body in eliminating and healing. The energy flow gets better through the body. 6 Be relaxed. Accept what ever is as it is and strive to make her self better. Let go of things and people, she can’t change or are of no use to her 7 Declutter at all levels. Her room. Her life. Her gadgets, her body. Etc. 8 Sleep well. Rest well. Relax. 9 Keep an eye on the bowel movements. Eliminate more than she consumes. 10 She will have a liking for something very much or she may have a certain unique talent. Practice giving back to the society in some form or the other. Do something for others that will make a difference in their lives. Whether she gets something in return or not. Just let her do it. Giving away happiness brings it back to us manufold. These are just basic guidelines. Try to follow them and you will certainly see changes in her self. Be happy be healthy always Swati Dhariwal Nature cure practitioner

I have hair fall. And dandruff is stick yo my head like stone. I usually scratch it off. What to do? A change in lifestyle or food. Plzz suggest
Dr. Stuti Nilesh Pardh...
06:47 PM | 13-08-2019
Hello!!! Firstly for Hair fall you need to use organic coconut oil and mix methi (fenugreek leaves or crushed seeds). The process is to firstly boil the coconut oil and then add fenugreek leaves or seeds and let it continue boiling till it reaches the boiling point. Let the oil cool, store it in a container and use it every night, this should help you with your hairfall instantly. For Dandruff, you need to take plant based yogurt and mix one whole lime into it. Apply the mixture to your scalp every other day till you are relieved from your dandruff condition. For Food you need to once again be on fruit rich diet and plant based seeds. Fruits and sunflower or melon seeds can help you to keep your hair healthy. You cut out from all processed foods and everything that is refined. Also, your positive affirmation to your body helps in regenerating back the discrepancies formed. Therefore, love yourself, be thankful for your hair and your positive attitude will create and generate new cells that can give you a complete transformation. Be Blessed

Acne is an adolescent coomon conditionwhich is characterised with blackheads, pustules, pappules which are caused by increase in hormones called androgens which are characterised by the sebaceous glands by increasing the size and oil secretions. At times these glands get blocked and then blackheads and whiteheads develop and get infected by bacteria that causes inflammation and pimples. These acne appear on face, back, shoulders and chest. The conditions may be lying deep inside or superficial which could cause scarring. These have a family tendency as well Diet: Consume high proteins, low carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, sprouts etc Avoid fried food items, junk foods, butters, sugarated drinks, citrus fruits and citrus juices, caffeine etc If you have access to a registered Naturopath or Naturopathy Centre it is wise idea to try fasting therapy using non citric juices. Drink lots of water atleast on a daily basis. Drinking water is best medicine according to Naturopathy Hydrotherapy: Alternate compress hot and cold could be applied to the affected areas. Other measures: Manage stress - Undertake some leisure activities, yoga, deep breathing techniques and pranayama Avoid chemical based face creams, soaps which could aggrevate the problem Wash the fash with warm water so that it could reduce pain in the inflammed area Avoid meddling with the pimples or wounds as it could hamper healing Try to have enough sleep for atleast 6- 7 hours. Avoid alcohol or smoking Avoid facial treatment when the face is affected and when wounds are present Once healed some aloevera jel ( taken from fresh leaves ) could prevent and also bring the smoothness of skin back. Finally to get an expert advice get yourself checked with a registered Naturopath for further consultations

I am 41 yr old lady and I admit that I have very poor eating habits, but issue is of gastritis and bloating of stomach that bother me a lot. Any suggestion to improve please
Swati Dhariwal MA, ND,
08:20 AM | 24-07-2019
Namaste Vasudhaji, You have answered your own question. The gastritis and bloating is for sure due to poor eating habits. And habits can be improved. And yes its always possible to get help to improve yourself, be it physically, mentally or spiritually. Before we go into further details, let us understand why one gets into poor eating habits? Most often than not it is the result of our over active mind, disturbed emotions or negetive emotions, etc. The monkey mind keeps playing up and we out of habit keep eating unmindfully. So to control our monkey mind and keep it at peace we need to learn some new habits. The stomach or the digestive system is the one which nourishes our brains by supplying it nutrients through the blood. So to nourish our brains properly it is very improtant that out digestive system works perfectly and that there should be no old matter stagnant or accumulated in the gut and colon. The cleaner your gut, better the quality of your blood and better will be the brains health. A healthy brain would have clarity of thought and not let you indulge in unmindful eating. What are the foods that could help you with cleansing, healing and nourishing at the same time? Locally grown , fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetable are the best cleansers, healers and nourishers. The ideal proportions could be 50%of fruits,35% of vegetables, !0%of grains and 5 % percent of soaked nuts. Eliminate all white sugar, white salt, refined flours, oils etc. And for further nourishment of your brain get into nature. The sun, air, mud, water and space work wonders on your system as they are the original sources of energy that nourishes you over all. Sleep and rest well. Do some physical excercise everyday like yoga, walking or gardening. It can help you move your toxins and support the process of nourishment of your whole system. All said and done its always best to get a proper diagnisis done and get a personalised support plan made. You can always reach out if you need further help. Coming to weight loss, you see body acts on the food and not vice-versa. That’s why the same foods don’t show the documented benefits to every single person who eats it. It depends on the condition of your body to digest the food and absorb the nutrients and make its own needs. Weight loss / healthy gain is a consequence of a healthy eating and living habit. It’s not something you can eat something and achieve. If you see a change in your weight just because you ate something, it only means that your body did not use a high amount of its energy to digest anymore, so it is reusing that remaining energy to detox or heal you. Result of which among many is also weightloss. With every small shift towards a healthy lifestyle, the body moves further and stops. Again a change, it moves and stops. You will hit a threshold limit if you go behind any one particular solution/herb/medicine, you must remember that life must be simple when it comes to eating/living. Too many jargons make your thinking complex. We were not created with a medical dictionary/diet chart. Humans were designed to eat fruits, veggies, greens, nuts, seeds in raw form, chew and digest it naturally. Anything you can’t chew and naturally eat is a diversion from the ideal. So how much you diverge, makes you so much more fat/ill. Shorten the gap, and you will become smarter healthier. Yes, this sounds weird that you are lean and we are asking you to have foods that look like will make you thinner. These foods will help your organs and body function efficiently, and if you have to gain, you will gain over time. You also have to start weight training to build your muscles on a healthier raw diet. It will overtime tone your body, and you will feel healthy inside. Cucumber juices - fruits - salads - oil-free millet dinner will over time keep you fit. Avoid any form of animal foods like dairy meat eggs fish, sugar wheat, packaged foods.
What is quinoa.. Will it help to reduce weight. Can it be taken regularly

Hello Rajalakshmi Ji, Quinoa this protein-packed grain contains every amino acid and also contains iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin E, and fiber. Gluten-Free and Perfect for People With Gluten Intolerance. Very High in Protein, With All the Essential Amino Acids. High rich in Antioxidants. To answer your query wheather it will help in reducing weight? Well it May Help You Lose Weight. In order to lose weight, you need to take in fewer calories than you burn. Certain food properties can promote weight loss, either by boosting metabolism or reducing appetite. Interestingly, quinoa has several such properties. It’s high in protein, which can both increase metabolism and reduce appetite significantly The high amount of fiber may increase feelings of fullness, making you eat fewer calories overall. Best option is go for breakfast or for dinner. Thanks.

Hi Nayan. Pls see wellcure’s Journeys section & read real-life stories of people who cured thyroid naturally. You may also find this blog helpful - Hypo or hyperthyroid - correct imbalance naturally. There need not be extreme diets of the type you mentioned. Simply do changes to align with Natural Laws and the rest will follow. Some time ago I was discussing the same with a colleague. She did the changes and her biggest surprise was shedding weight which she told me was very difficult for thyroid patients. Here are a few things that you should start with - 1. Eat only fruits till noon. 2. Drop non veg and dairy. 3. Eat generous amount of raw veggies salad with every cooked meal. 4. Drink coconut water, fruit juices, vegetable juices, nimboo paani. No packaged drinks. 5. Eat simple home cooked food. 6. Very important - Work on ur stress. Nothing will work if u are not calm. If you need more help, please let me know.
Hi.. I have pcos and my menstruals dont happen for 5-6 months in a stretch. Can anyone suggest any natural measures for making my cycle normal?
Mehak
09:05 PM | 07-06-2019
It can be treated by following some practices like practice yoga, maintain a healthy weight with proper exercise regimes to be followed. Adding ginger to your dishes can help you out in this problem. Similarly Cinnamon appears to be beneficial for a variety of menstrual issues including this one. Now modifications in diet should also be followed like a good consumption pattern of vitamins particularly Vitamin D and B Vitamins also eating pineapple which contains an enzyme Bromelain can be really helpful to regulate the menses as it softens the uterus lining.Along with that avoid much usage of spices in your food and excess of fats at the same time.
Suggest some quick and easy to prepare breakfast options for summers.

Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it's important to have a fulfilling and nutritious breakfast. 1) The best option would be fruits. They are healthy and refreshing. Cut up different types of fruits and have them along with fresh juice. They have vitamins, proteins and fibre which will help clear all the antioxidants from your body and also provide required nutrients. 2) Sprouts are another healthy choice. Sprouts Are rich in folate, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese and vitamins C and K. Sprouting process also increases the nutrient content. 3) Oatmeal is also an option. Cook up a healthy oatmeal and add nuts, raisins and almonds to it for a healthy breakfast.
What's the best time to eat sprouts? Can they be eaten along with a cooked meal? And is it ok to have sprouts at night, may be a sprout salad dinner? Heard sprouts at night cause gas formation.
Ankur
09:56 AM | 29-03-2019
When legumes are sprouted they become live food plus water rich. Nutritionally they become very rich due to the sprouting process. Their digestibility also increases due to the higher level of enzymes. Sprout can be consumed in salads or in a cooked meal. Salads are the best options but in cooked food, they are better than pulses. The important thing to remember is that chewing is a critical part of their digestion gas issues are outcome of our poor chewing habits. Other reason is poor food combinations. In cooked meals you can use sprouts in khichdi, make dal or put it in rice.
What are those top 10 daily or weekly habits that one should start in their life to get the benefits of natural health and cure? We know we should not eat toxic food etc but one can't suddenly leave a habit or taste buds formed in years, so need to know the small changes one can make which are easy to adopt and realistic.

Hi. Pick one habit at a time, follow it for 10 days & then add the next. As you change your habits, your taste buds will change!! Which one you want to pick first, depends on you. I will say start with the easiest and then keep picking up more & more difficult ones. Here's my list of 10 - Replace tea/coffee with healthy teas or drinks. Replace cooked breakfast with fruits. Have vegetable juice every noon & evening. Have raw veggie salads with lunch & dinner, atleast 50% to be raw. OR have cooked lunch & raw dinner. Replace milk with nut milk. Replace wheat roti with other grain rotis / dosas / chillas. Replace white salt with rock salt - this is very easy to do as there is no change in the taste. Replace packaged snacks with roasted makhanas, peanuts, chana, murmure, seeds, nuts, fruits, salads, etc. Avoid white sugar products like mithaai, cakes, pastries. Replace evening snacks with fruits.
