Namaste Shubh, The issue with your weight is your improper digestion. And improper digestion is there because your system is blocked with toxins. The blockages dont let your body to absorb the nutrients from the food. I remember how my dad assisted a young man with similar issue. Just after 100 days at my dads sanatorium with a complete lifestyle change and food habit change, he was able to overcome his extreme thinness and turned into a handsome young man. Let me share the diet and lifestyle changes that he underwent at our sanatorium. 1 Wake up early morning and after the morning ablutions go for a long walk in nature. 2 Pactice yoga and pranayam daily. 3 Get into nature, for sun soaking, breathing in fresh air and getting in touch with mother earth. 4 Encourage more and more intestinal cleansing and elimination. 5 Rest and sleep well. Then comes the food part. Start with a day of water fast, followed by a week on coconut water and juices. Break the fast with fresh, locally grown seasonal ripe fruit. Continue on fruits for two days. Then Add on vegetable salad with lots of greens in it as your dinner. Slowly after a month you may add on sprouts and soaked nuts to your salads. All along the way keep an eye on your cleansing. You must eliminate a lot of old matter everyday. Your body weight will touch its lowest. Lesser than where you are at now. But dont worry. Only once all the old matter has gone can your body start digesting and assimilating nutrients better. Get on with your cleansing and healing journey and find great health soon. Namaste Ishani If your child is breast feeding then take care of your diet first. Eat more of fresh locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables. Don’t try to give it any thing other than mothers milk. You may boil a pinch of ajwain seeds in a quarter glass of water and once the water is half in quantity, cool it add a pinch of sugar and give the baby a spoon or two of this liquid. Repeat this for a couple of days. One dose is enough in a day. Just don’t worry your baby will be fine Be happy be healthy always Swati Dhariwal Nature Cure Practitioner

Namaste Sanjib, We understand that it must be challenging for you to deal with this condition. Toxic overload is the basic root cause of all diseases. Due to insufficient elimination of toxins (via kidneys, skin & lungs) the body gets clogged and the toxins cause inflammation of tissues. Cold is inflammation of the inner lining of the nose. Now, your gut is like a chief minister of your body, it knows every small thing happening in your body. so when ur body dealing with a cold, it uses all its energy to fight the inflammation and that's why u don't feel the motion and sometimes hunger too. Easy steps to deal with this: when you start providing the alkaline environment cold and sneezing get cured and bowel movements will get in normal sync 1. Include bael and pears in your diet. both help in regular bowel movements. 2. Ginger Tea: Add an inch of ginger into boiled water and it will help in cold. 3. Lime juice should be diluted in a glass of warm water and a teaspoonful of honey. it helps with colds and sneezing. What is the difference between grains, pulses and legumes? Which ones are more acidic?
Smitha Hemadri
08:36 AM | 24-02-2021
Grains - Grain examples are rice millets ( ragi jowar bajra etc) quinoa corn all are grains If you are having doubt regarding are pulses grains, then I should tell you that pulses are part of the legume family (any plants that grow in pods), but the term “pulse” refers only to the dry edible seed within the pod. Beans, lentils, chickpeas and split peas are the most common types of pulses. Sprouts and microgreens - any pulse or seed that can be germinated into a small shoot is a sprout. It has the qualities of the seed Microgreen is the next step and grows 2 true leaves . These leaves are inside the seed and they are the first 2 leaves that are formed. Beyond this the seed does not have the nutrition for that plant. This microgreens are better than the sprouts bcoz it has been doing photosynthesis in addition to carrying the quality of the seed. ———— Grains - Grains first of all are not human foods bcoz we can’t really chew and eat it. We need to process it further to consume it. One might ask that ancestors lived healthy on grains and why is it that grains are the bad food now. Grains especially like wheat corn for example are favourite foods for some of the pathogens that cause havoc in the body. The pathogens did come bcoz one carried toxins due to a lifestyle, but the grains such as above makes it worse. They are food for the pathogen and the pathogen releases neurotoxins to make the inflammation worse. If someone does not have this pathogen which is quite rare in the recent generations then even if they eat the grain they may not see an adverse effect. So it’s quite possible that the ancestors first off did not have as much toxic living conditions as we do.. so they did eat things like breads or rice or wheat and still lived a 100 in some cases. If they caught a problem in their later stages then their living conditions invited the pathogen and the food habits added fuel to them. So if you are suffering from a chronic or a destructive disease then you have to avoid foods that become food to the pathogen. The grain itself does not have any poisons to kill us. So diabetes thyroid neuralgia eczema cancer osteoporosis gut issues autism adhd tics things like this are usually chronic to destructive toxaemic conditions and are already home to the pathogens and hence its best to avoid the grains. We say it’s acidic bcoz it causes an unfavourable condition for the body .. so it’s not a positive food. If the condition is acute and you have issues on and off, then it’s best to make a 70-30 with 70 raw and 30 cooked including whole grains. The pathogens may not be strong enough to fight that 70%. Body will have enough vitality reserves to fight back. Among grains the best to consume are millets and next is rice and in USA quinoa / millets. If it’s inorganic it’s quite possible that the pesticides like ddt might carry arsenic. So it’s best to go for organic ones if one can afford. Again, we need the fibre to be intact . So it’s best to eat it whole if at all we have. Fruits - fruits are the best thing that has happened to mankind. If one lives on more fruits in their life their health and longevity is guaranteed on a bond paper by god . They have starch fats carbs everything we need to survive . They detox the body very well Vegetables help in the building of the body. They are more complex compared to fruits, but we need them in our daily life. They have everything to make our survival complete. Greens - are again the next best. Rich in suns energy. They have all the beneficial bacteria on them to improve our microbiome in the gut. Probiotics and fermented foods are nothing in front of these. Legumes - fresh in season right off the pod is great. Next best is to soak it and eat it. If steamed then soak it and prepare it for germination and steam it Pulses - are dried legumes, processed and made to halves. Soaking also won’t germinate them. So they are incomplete.. but it’s ok and not as bad to avoid relatively. Again can be steamed and had.. but not all pulses can be consumed after germination or steaming as is. So in a nutshell. Food quality and what body can take is always relative. When compared to something , something else is better . So what you choose as your food is always relative based on the toxicity you carry in the body at any point when you got this awareness. We may ask someone to eat a whole food plant based meal with grains included once, bcoz for them it’s ok to just quit the negative foods they eat or living conditions and still heal. So always make that priority based on your condition and not bcoz some food will give some benefits. Food does not act on body.. body chooses to act on food and derive the best or not from it. Thumb rule is to see if it’s as close to natural and can be consumed as is.
I have problem of gas and constipation frequently. What to do?
Dr.Elanchezhiyan Devar...

Hi, Constipation is currently a common problem due to the wrong lifestyle and improper dietary pattern. The gas problem occurs due to improper chewing of foods improper digestion and acidic food intake. And also related to constipation if the bowel is not cleared properly leads to fomentation gas formation. There are many factors that contribute to or cause constipation. The most common causes are: Eating a diet too low in fiber. Eating too few calories. Not drinking enough fluids. A low physical activity level. Due to certain medications. To cure constipation: Behavior changes: It is best to establish a regular pattern of bowel movement. Persons having normal bowel patterns usually defecate at approximately the same time every day. Since the bowels are most active after awakening and after meals, the most optimal time for a bowel movement is usually within the first two hours after waking and after breakfast. Don’t ignore the signal to defecate. Diet: Fiber increases stool bulk, which helps stools move through the colon. The recommended amount of fiber is 20 to 35 grams daily. Fresh Fruits, green and green leafy vegetables and cereals are an excellent source of fiber. Citrus fruits, prunes, fig, and prune juice are especially helpful. Bloating and flatulence is a common problem with increased fiber so it is best to start slowly and increase the amount of fiber gradually. Drinking Lauki juice, beetroot carrot juice daily in the morning also helps to relieve constipation. Adding ginger in your food also helps to improve your digestion and helps to relieve constipation. Insoluble fibers: Consume more insoluble fibers. Insoluble fiber is not digested by the body and is excreted as waste. This type of fiber promotes bowel regularity and discourages the development of constipation and other complication like hemorrhoids. Insoluble fibers are present in wheat bran, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and skins of vegetables and fruits. Drink plenty of liquids: Consume more fruit juices, Fluid helps your body process fiber without any discomfort. Include exercise or physical activity in your daily routine. Physical activity is a natural way to relieve constipation. Get up early in the morning and drink lukewarm water then go for a brisk walk or gentle jogging to help your body get hydrated and help in relieving constipation. Avoid Tea, coffee and other carbonated, packed /canned drinks. Avoid spicy, oily fried food items. Avoid milk and milk products. · Avoid polished rice, sugar, and maida. ·Drinking cinnamon water 30 minutes before going to bed also helps to relieve constipation. Consume overnight soaked figs/raisins daily. Include more raw vegetable salads and sprouts in your diet. Avoid non-vegetarian food items. Practice regular Yogasana: Asanas like pawanamuktasana, naukasana, matsyasana, vajarasana, vakrasana, and ardhamatsyendrasana. Practice regular pranayamas like nadishuddhi and bhramari help to reduce your stress which is also a cause for constipation. Cold mud pack on the abdomen is also beneficial in relieving constipation. Namasthe!

Dear health seeker, Normally there is very little scope for the formation of gas within the stomach. The high acidity of the stomach contents makes bacterial fermentation almost impossible. Even otherwise, if things are normal, the food will not stay long enough for fermentation to start. Fermentation and gas formation in the stomach is something very abnormal and is an indication that the food has stayed much too long in the stomach. Some carbon dioxide can be formed in the stomach if there is a regurgitation of the contents of the duodenum containing carbonates and bicarbonate derived from the bile, the pancreatic juice, and intestinal juices, which will react with the hydrochloric acid of the gastric juice and produce gas. This also is somewhat abnormal but not uncommon. Gas in the stomach is mainly the air which freely enters it along with the food we eat, the water we drink or the saliva which we keep swallowing, from time to time during our wakeful periods This air, normally, should cause no problem because it is belched out when the stomach contacts. It might cause inconvenience only when the stomach loses its tone and remains in a distended form not only when it is full but even after it has become empty. Thus, it is not the accumulation of air inside the stomach which causes the distention; rather it is the other way around. It is on account of its remaining in the distended state that the stomach retains a lot of gas or air. Whenever air escapes in the form of belching there is a feeling of some relief. People, therefore, make a conscious effort to get some relief by belching out the imprisoned air. But in order to induce the belching, they have first to be swallowed some more air and generally, it is this swallowed air that comes out as belching. There may be a momentary sense of relief but this is illusory. RESTORING STOMACH TONE There are absolutely no short cuts to regain the tone of the stomach that has been lost on account of dietetic sins. The living stomach is made up of living cells. The quality of the stomach is conditioned by the quality of its constituent cells. These cells are continually subject to wear and tear and, what is even more important, they are continually being replaced, by newly formed cells taking the place of old ones that die and are cast off. So that this process of renovation continues without hindrance, we need three things (a) ready availability of the needed nourishment (b) prompt removal of toxins which are the end products of cellular activity and (c) time for rest and recuperation. The first two things are the responsibility of the bloodstream and it will be able to do this effectively if it gets the necessary replenishments from the food we eat and the entire circulatory system is kept trim by regular physical exercise. The third requirement will be satisfied by the practice of moderation in eating and by resorting to judicious fasting. Removing the cause /treatment There are four things needed to ensure the restoration of the lost tone of the stomach and thus ensuring freedom from the gas formation and a healthy stomach. (A) Good nutrition through health-giving foods, say vegetables raw and conservatively cooked without oil and spices, condiments, few nuts, seeds and beans and carbohydrates from potatoes, sweet potatoes, and limited quantities of cereals. (B) An active life or physical exercise, preferably brisk walking for a week and aged persons. (C) Adjusting the quantity of food, the frequency of the meals and also the manner of eating so that, the stomach remains empty for at least a couple of hours before each meal There's not the slightest feeling of heaviness in the stomach or upper abdomen at any time after a meal. No meal stays in the stomach for longer than five hours. Occasional fast of short duration, say, a day's fast every fortnight. some hydrotherapy applications would be of great help. Spinal bath of 25 to 30 minutes twice a day. Needless to mention that you will have to avoid denatured and devitalizing foodless foods like tea, coffee, cola drinks and fried, stale, processed, preserved, tinned, bottled animal foods, this way you can have healthy stomach tone and freedom from gas and bloating, etc. Be healthy and happy V.S.Pawar Member Indian institute of natural therapeutics

Namaste Parul Singh Namaste Depression is very much a reflection of your inner physical health. Toxins in your digestive system and the acidic quality of the blood result in an unhealthy mental state.if you can look back you may see that there would have been some sort of indications of constipation or indigestion. So to improve your mental health the first step would be to improve your gut health. The cure would be a complete change to a healthy lifestyle. Changes you need to introduce in your routine : 1 Go out in the nature. Get sun exposure every morning and evening. 2 Breath in fresh air and practice deep breathing. Learn pranayam. 3 Spend time in nature. Grow some plants and work with your bare hands. The more time you spend with the plants and trees, you will start feeling more relaxed and less depressed. 4 Eat lots of fresh locally grown seasonal ripe fruits and vegetables. Break your fast first thing in the morning with seasonal juicy fruits and do it as late in the morning as possible. You may have a simple lunch which consists of more veggies and less of whole grains. Dinner could be finished by 6 pm with either fruits or salads with sprouts and greens. Don’t eat after sunset. 5 Get physically active. Learn and practice yoga. It will help you move your toxins faster and help your body in eliminating and healing. The energy flow gets better through the body. 6 Be relaxed. Accept what ever is as it is and strive to make your self better. Let go of things and people, you can’t change or are of no use to you. 7 Declutter at all levels. Your home. Your life. Your gadgets, your body. Etc. 8 Sleep well. Rest well. Relax. 9 Keep an eye on your bowel movements. Eliminate more than you consume. 10 There will be something that you like to do the most. Do it. Do something as a contribution towards the society or the environment or animals. When you give others some reason to smile you will find happiness too. And do it on a daily basis. The minute you start contributing towards others happiness, your happiness begins driving away all depression. 11 last but most importantly, stop your medication. If you need further assistance and guidance you may get in touch with me, as this will be an ongoing process and you may need support on every step. Hello, Mental health is equally important just like our physical health for a healthy body. Anxiety, tachycardia, headache, acidity all these problems of yours are inter-related. The reason for these problems is the accumulation of toxins in the body which is due to the consumption of high fatty foods, high-stress levels and the wrong lifestyle. By making some changes in lifestyle and eating habits, you can achieve good mental and physical health. Diet to follow- Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. Include Vitamin C in your diet like have blueberries, oranges, lemon, amla, etc. Eat soaked raisins, dry fruits, and sprouts to get them easily absorbable nutrients. Have a fibre-rich diet. Eat salads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Also, drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibres. This will help in the movement of stool and will add bulk to the stool, so that, it can be removed easily from the body. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Exercise Doing exercise or yoga daily will help to improve the blood circulation in the body and also to improve the metabolism of the body. Take a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. Perform pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam. Do suryanamaskar daily. Perform paschimottan asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Hello Panduranga, With nature, nothing becomes impossible, because nature has designed our body in harmony, in sync with nature. Insomniais large, due to over-thinking. We generally think our mental issues are caused by the mind, but our food also has a special role to play in it. The kind of food we eat is the way we think. There are three types of food described in yoga which have their effect on the mind. Sattvic food, eat light, stay calm. Rajasik food is highly spiced making us overactive in everything and the mind feels uncertain. Tamasik food which makes our body lethargic. Negative thoughts are caused by stimulants such as tea, coffee, which give our body less sleep. By taking an initiative in a holistic way, you can overall help yourself. That is why, by taking a step towards holistic health, you can effectively treat yourself in nature's way. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night. Mineral-rich food sources like seeds for example in evening soak chia seeds in a glass of water for an hour, soak them and add one tablespoon of lemon juice. Consume it two hours after the meal, this will help in preventing insomnia. Take tomato with black pepper an hour before your meal to treat constipation. Fennel seeds after the meals help in aiding easy digestion. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshens us for the whole day, it stimulates our system and strengthens our immunity. An early morning walk is recommended. Suryanamaskar will help in treating the health issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Sukhasana, Balasana, Shavasana are very much helpful. Practice each pose for 5-10 seconds after the session of Suryanamaskar. Do under expert guidance. Practicing vajrasana after meals help in aiding digestion. Meditation: Stop using the gadget on hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils, and then with the smell itself, you will start feeling calm. Rosemary and lavender oil will be helpful. During the episode of anxiety, you can inhale it by putting two-three drops on a handkerchief. Take 10 long deep breaths, and allow your body to relax, any thought which comes, let it go do not resist. Say the affirmation, "I am healthy and happy" with each breath. This will help in curbing all your issues even in the long run. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you.

Hello User, The best advice for suffering from anxiety is taking a natural way to treat it. Going the natural way will only help in treating the episode but will also help in preventing it. As the stressors in today's lifestyle have increased be it for a student, a person working at home, or a corporate lifestyle everything needs to be tackled in a healthy manner. A lifestyle filled with green vegetables, fruits, exercise, and meditation is what is needed. The reason you are also suffering from nutritional deficiency and the liver problem is because of this same issue where you are not able to absorb nutrients due to bad dietary habits. The episode of anxiety can also be dealt with easily in this manner. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improving the state of metabolism by increasing it. The inclusion of a vegetable juice in your breakfast will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. The next thing is going for a head massage, daily at night massage the head with coconut oil and aloe vera gel, this will help in soothing the nerves and reduce the episode of anxiety. Increasing Vitamin B12 and minerals in the diet will help in treating mood disorders. Chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almonds are a good source of vitamin B 12. Exercise: Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshen us for the whole day. Early morning walk is recommendable. Even Suryanamaskar will help in treating the mental issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it. Sitting in an area where you have a good amount of sunlight is highly beneficial this will correct your backache which is due to low vitamin D. Morning sun rays help. Meditation: Stop using the gadget on hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils, and then with the smell itself, you will start feeling calm. The next thing is to take 10 long deep breaths, and allowing your body to relax, any thought which comes let it go do not resist. Saying the affirmation, I am healthy and happy" release each breath. This will help a lot in calming you. Sleep: Sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing. Hopefully, these suggestions will help. Thank you.

Hello User, Consumption of fatty diet and highly spiced food leads to indigestion which causes heartburn. Toxins are the primary cause of gastric trouble. Our sedentary lifestyle also plays a role in this picture. What needs to be taken care of now is the fact that a major change in lifestyle and diet will be the cure of the problem. In digestive problems with the consumption of this kind of food, the problem is, from the oesophagus to rectum everything is disturbed. With a healthy change in routine, what makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, that we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing future relapses. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. Including a fiber-rich food item that helps in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc. which have a good amount of fiber in them. One tomato with black pepper in the evening time an hour before dinner. During evening time, take an inch of ginger and boil in two cups of water with half a teaspoon of turmeric honey, this will help in beating inflammation caused by indigestion. Fennels seeds after food aids clearing bowels easily. Exercise: Sitting in the position of Vajraasana will help in the treatment of indigestion. After your meals practice, this poses for better digestion and easy stools. Suryanamaskar daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep, by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Hello Mansoor, Overthinking, anxiety, depression are all the indications about your bad mental health which may be because of thyroid as it results in hormonal imbalance. It is mainly due to incorrect lifestyle and incorrect eating habits like having a high fatty diet, not taking enough sleep which results in increased stress levels, etc. But everything can be cured naturally by making just some small changes in the daily routine and eating habits. Here are a few tips that will surely help you: Meditation Meditation is the ultimate key to achieving good mental health. Just like our physical health, our mental health is also equally important and meditation is the best to achieve the same. Give 20 to 25 minutes from your busy day for meditation. Practice it in sukhasana or padma asana and concentrate on your breathing. Daily meditating will surely lead to a healthy and happy mind. Diet Diet also has an impact on our mental health as our metabolism depends on the foods that we have which in turn affects the hormonal secretions. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to boost the metabolism at the start of the day. Have soaked raisins and other dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients. Eat sprouts, nuts, beans and salads. Include Vitamin C in your diet like blueberries, amla, orange or lemon as they have antioxidant properties. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body and to be hydrated. Avoid dairy products and animal products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence it results in the accumulation of toxins in the body. Avoid processed, packaged and preserved foods as they have bad effects on our digestive system. Yoga Daily yoga is very effective for achieving a good balance between the mind, body and soul. Practice suryanamaskar daily. Do bhujanga asana, paschimottan asana, gomukha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly for 15-20min, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Take sunrays early in the morning. Sleep The quality and pattern of the sleep also determine the state of our mental health as it affects the circadian rhythm and in turn the hormonal balance. Sometimes, lack of proper also leads to mental illness. So, take proper sleep of at least 8 to 10 hours daily. Avoid electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, computers, tv, etc at least 1hour before sleeping to improve the quality of sleep. Thank you
How can I get rid of teeth moulting due to flourosis?
Mohan M
05:50 PM | 04-06-2019
During our grandparents days this kind of problems are very very rare or unusual Because they never used Tooth paste or powder which is chemical involved. If you notice their tooth and gums are so strong, never had cavity issues or any dental fluorosis. Now lots of toothpaste companies are growing up, oral wash, dental hospitals are more like tea shops in every street. If we brush our teeth with neem stick or baniyan tree stick this dental fluorosis problem will slowly disappear. Start brushing with this stick weekly once then slowly increase the days. also you can use banana skin, by rubbing on the teeth which not only reduce the white spots but also increase the whitish of the teeth from the yellowish. Try and share your feedback. Thanks.

Hello Gayathri, Endometriosis is a common disorder in which the lining of the uterus, known as the endometrium, grows outside the uterus and onto the ovaries, fallopian tubes and other areas of the reproductive tract. Chocolate cysts are a subgroup of endometriosis. They may be a result of endometriosis. The lining of these cysts acts much the way the lining of the uterus does. It grows and then shed in response to the changes in hormones level. Instead of leaving the body, this tissue becomes trapped in the cavity of the cyst. Here it can produce inflammation and disrupt the ovaries. Here are some tips to follow for management. Diet to follow- Eating processed and preserved foods may contribute to inflammation. So, avoid processed, preserved and packaged foods. Add fruits, legumes and vegetables in your diet. Eat nuts, sprouts and soaked raisins in the morning. Add iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach to your diet. Have magnesium-rich foods like almonds, cashews and bananas. Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has positive effects. Avoid caffeine. Avoid carbonated drinks. Say no to alcohol, tobacco. Avoid dairy products and animal products. Exercise Doing yoga is very beneficial for ovarian cysts. Perform bhujanga asana, vriksha asana and padahasta asana. Do pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom pranayam. Take sunrays regularly in the morning for at least 20min. Sleep Sleeping pattern is very essential for a healthy hormonal balance. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you

How to cure Gastritis in a natural way?
Vijai Pawar

Dear health seeker Murali, Gastritis is a condition wherein the cells In the mucous membranes of the stomach are inflamed. The inflammation may be of varying degrees affecting either the superficial layers of the gastric mucosa or even the deeper layers of the stomach walls including the gastric glands. In general, it is an inflammation of the stomach lining. Acute gastritis- In this condition, the inflammation may be a transient reaction of predominantly the surface layer of the gastric mucosa by irritants or corrosives and can be cured early. CAUSES IRRITANTS Alcohol Hot drinks tea, coffee or milk Drugs like aspirin or phenylbutazone Highly spiced and condimented foods All animal products having many irritants. All fast food and junk food NATURE CURE PLAN • Let the patient give up the offending substances so long he is having acute symptoms ( which may not last for more than two three days). • Let him take a cup of ash gourd juice or tender coconut water (or in the event of non-availablity of these two, raw juice of any Saatvic vegetable carrots, cucumbers, etc.) • Let him also have the cooling or stimulating abdominal pack 3 or 4 times • Let him take a non-violent enema. • By this program, the acute is radically cured very quickly. • Normally the superficial layers of the gastric mucosa regenerate within 48 to 72 hours and the program outlined need to be followed for 2,3, or 4 days. Thereafter when the patient feels normal, he could have cereals and other foods, all strictly prepared having no oil spices and condiments as per the laws of Vital Economy, means conservation of vitality. • To stay cured, he should see that he does not indulge in any unhygienic habits V.S.Pawar Member Indian institute of natural therapeutics 1980
I have digestive issues due to gastric problem. Even small pieces also not digesting. How to improve this naturally?
Vijai Pawar

Dear health seeker Normally there is very little scope for the formation of gas within the stomach. Gas in the stomach is mainly the air that freely enters it along with the food we eat, the water we drink or the saliva which we keep swallowing, from time to time during our wakeful periods. This air, normally, should cause no problem because it is belched out when the stomach contracts. But in order to induce the belching, they have first to swallow some more air and generally, it is this swallowed air that comes out as belching. So that this process of renovation continues without hindrance, we need three things: (a) The ready availability of the needed nourishment. (b) Prompt removal of toxins which are the end products of cellular activity. (c) Time for rest and recuperation. The first two things are the responsibility of the bloodstream and it will be able to do this effectively if it gets the necessary replenishment from the food we eat and the entire circulatory system is kept trim by regular physical exercise. The third requirement will be satisfied by the practice of moderation in eating and by resorting to judicious fasting. Removing the cause /treatment. There are four things needed to ensure the restoration of the lost tone of the stomach and thus ensuring freedom from the gas formation and a healthy stomach. Good nutrition through health-giving foods say vegetables, raw and conservatively cooked without oil and spices, condiments, few nuts, seeds and beans and carbohydrates from potatoes, sweet potatoes, and limited quantities of cereals. An active life or physical exercise, preferably brisk walking for a week and aged persons. Adjusting the quantity of food, the frequency of the meals and also the manner of eating so that, the stomach remains empty for at least a couple of hours before each meal. There's not the slightest feeling of heaviness in the stomach or upper abdomen at any time after a meal. No meal stays in the stomach for longer than five hours. Occasional fast of short duration, say, a day 'a fast every fortnight. Some hydrotherapy applications would be of great help. Spinal bath of 25 to 30 minutes twice a day.
