Normally, a sleep test is generally done in a hospital as the whole sleep cycle needs to be recorded. In-home sleep apnea test you will be in charge of the equipment and you will be able to get an idea about the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea which you might be suffering from. Snoring occasionally is not problematic. If you are a habitual snorer than it is not good for your health. Treatment is necessary for the habitual snorers. They are having risk if sleep apnea, long interruption of breathing, disturbed sleep. Lead to strain heart and a risk of heart attack and stroke. Low oxygen level in blood due to lack of breathing leads to pulmonary hypertension. Chronic headache Disturbed sleep leads to stress and obesity. Fatigue. A good quality sleep is very necessary for 'sound' health.
