Hi Harminder Kaur Arora, Thanks for sharing your query with us! Please try to understand the problem from the Nature Cure perspective. During menopause, hormonal fluctuations can affect bowel movements, leading to changes in bowel habits such as constipation. Nature Cure believes that the root cause of such health conditions is Toxaemia- the accumulation of toxins within the body. Here are some guidlines that can help: 1. Start your day with 2 tsp of raisins or couple of figs soaked in water overnight 2. Reduce grains and emphasize more on fruits and raw salads. 3. Avoid dairy, dairy products and non-veg items. 4. Have warm water, herbal tea made with herbs like ginger, mint etc. 5. Do wet pack wrap on your stomach area with a wet towel for about twenty minutes and relax. 6. Gently massage your abdomen around your navel area in a clockwise manner for a few minutes daily. Wishing you a good health!

Hello Taruna, Menopause is the natural cessation, or stopping of a woman's menstrual cycle and marks the end of fertility. Mostly women experience this menopause by the age of 42. It is a phase in which the hormonal changes occur in the body of women. These hormonal changes lead to certain health changes like weight loss, excessive sweating, etc. And you also suffered from hyperthyroidism, so weight loss may also be the result of that. However, hormonal balances can be maintained by following a correct lifestyle and having a correct diet. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to flush out the toxins from the body. Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables in your diet. Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet. Have a light, easy to digest breakfast like a bowl of sprouts and soaked raisins and other dry fruits. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices.

Hello, Yes, it is true that menopause affects weight loss. During and after menopause, the number of calories burnt during rest declines. Although, it is possible to lose weight by following a correct lifestyle and diet. Weight gain results due to a sedentary lifestyle, lack of physical activities, and high fatty diet. For reducing the weight, it is necessary to remove the excess fats from the body, and along with this following a natural lifestyle and correct eating habits is also important. Diet Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This will help to improve the metabolism and also to flush the toxins out of the body. Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping. Soak the cumin seeds in a glass of water overnight. In the morning, boil the water and add a slice of ginger to it. Strain the water and drink it. This water will be beneficial for

Menopause is a natural process. Every woman goes through it in her late forties-early fifties. There is nothing to be anxious about. The moment your cousin can accept this truth, she will find it easier to cope. Deep breathing and meditation helps in relaxing. She may be getting hot flashes during this period, so taking some 10-15 minutes out for rose water eyepads helps. She can also wind down daily at night through aroma oils.
