How to moisturise skin in winter in natural way?
Dr. Preetha Ashok
11:24 AM | 09-12-2020
Hello Rashi. No matter the type of skin, the skin tends to get dry during winter, especially overnight. It's very important to moisturize your skin based on your skin type. First, identify if your facial skin is oily/dry/normal. Then identify if your body skin is oily/ dry. Do the following : 1. FOR DRY SKIN (FACE) : Wash your face with normal - cold water. Pat dry. Apply a mixture of coconut oil & sesame oil all over the face while massaging it in a circular motion. 2. FOR DRY BODY SKIN : COCONUT OIL is the best moisturizer! 3. FOR OILY/ ACNE PRONE SKIN : Wash your face, pat dry. Give an ice massage for 2- 5 minutes. Then apply 1- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and massage the face in a circular motion. 4. FOR BODY SKIN (OILY) : Wash & apply coconut oil sesame oil all over the body. Also, a regular water consumption of a minimum of 1 - 2 litres during winters is very important for skin hydration. Hope this helps :)

Hello, White spots on the skin are caused by various reasons like deficiency of nutrients or vitiligo or allergy. White patches on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy or autoimmune disorder. Rarely, skin cancers and precancerous changes can cause white patches on the skin, but these serious causes are much less common. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor. This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily. Tinea versicolor is sometimes associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches. Another important cause of white patches on the skin is vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder that leads to the destruction of melanocytes, the cells that make the pigment that gives your skin colour. White patches from vitiligo may come and go or they may be permanent. Here are some remedies for white patch

Hello Amit, I understand that due to the continuous use of soaps, hand wash and sanitizers, the skin gets very dry. It happens because the skin loses its natural oils due to continuous washing and it leads to fine cracks which cause burning and pain sensations. Here are some natural tips that you can use at home to resolve your problem. After washing your hands with soap or a hand wash, dry your hands with a clean towel but leave some water on them. You can also air-dry your hands. When your hands are slightly damp, apply natural moisturizer on them. Make sure you apply some moisturizer on the fingertips and nails. Here is a recipe for making your own natural moisturizer. http://www.wellcure.com/recipes/455/natural-moisturiser When you use a hand sanitizer, apply your moisturizer immediately after the hand sanitizer dries. Apply fresh aloe vera gel on your hands at night after washing them. Aloe vera will help in healing the skin cells quickly. Drink sufficient water during the
