Hello Amrita, Swelling in the stomach with pain in the background can also be due to multiple organs associated with our abdomen, getting an investigation done with sonography would be helpful. Till you get your investigation done: 1. Have a high fiber diet. 2. Massage your stomach with mustard oil will help in releasing pain. Hopefully, this will help you for a while. Thank you

Put ice-packs on his abdomen every hour to prevent getting weakness. Ensure he takes off from work and takes complete rest.
What to give if a child is vomiting? We are on travelling. Just got a lemon and asked him to lick it. He's 6 years old.

A true solution of equal amounts of lemon and water is by far the best remedy for vomiting if you are on a trip. However if the child feels nauseated only during the travel, it is best to take continuous, deep breaths in sitting in an upright position, helping relieve the giddiness, sniffing a citrus fruit in breaks also helps.

Please take ample rest. This would mean both food wise i.e. digestive rest and mentally. Be off gadgets completely. This will allow body to conserve energy. You could put a cold towel on your abdomen and lie down for 5 - 10 minutes. OR try taking a nap. After every motion or after every 2 hours – you can have a banana or apple or pomegranate. You could take a concoction of lemon mixed with equal amount of water. You can add a pinch of haldi to it. Eat only if you are hungry and resume with steamed vegetables such as potatoes. Add some raw in form of simple salads. Get well soon!
